Dr. Houman saw me immediately; quickly understood the issue at hand, personally swung into action, and ten minutes later had the situation under complete control. He wrote a prescription, gave me exact instructions what to do and what to look for over the next few days, and scheduled a follow-up appointment a few days later. A week later, the issue is in the rear view mirror and I have urologist for life. Dr. Houman is down to earth, very personal, and clearly cheering you on for success. I asked if they are accepting Medicare. She said, "Yes, but need a secondary", which we do. She asked if it is PPO, and I said, "Yes". Then she said, you need a referral from a doctor". So I said, "What? We have PPO not HMO". Then she said, "We are so busy you need a referral". What the F? So, I said, "Thank you and goodbye".
