I realized today that my review from 15 years ago is being applied to the new company and I wanted to update it. In case the original view goes away it's worth noting I was a very happy routine client of Dr Bruce for more than a decade and the original review was an unprompted 5 stars. Dr Bruce sold the practice. I was aware of the sale and tried to give the new company that bought the office a shot. Unfortunately my cleaning experience was terrible and literally the worst I've had my entire life. Not only did they do a poor job of cleaning but it was super painful using a high pressure water pick. I was in visible discomfort the entire time and when I asked why they changed the cleaning technique the technician simply said it was a new and better method. It was awful to say the least and he had no bedside manner. Anyway I left the appointment and literally started searching for a new dentist the same day so that I would be set for my next cleaning 6 months out.

The staff is friendly, the dental exam areas are clean and modern, there's Netflix, and the hygienists are THOROUGH and gentle. Dr. Huh is very kind. After doing a 3D eval, X-rays and manually inspecting the buccal cavity and the tooth in question I was informed that, a crown is not necessary. I did though, need, some major cleaning, due to not visiting a dentist not more than twice in my life. Sebastian was wonderful getting me settled in and comfortable with the setting - checking on me while I waited for the doctor. Dr. Samantha was great. She didn't lecture me at all about not seeing the dentist regularly. I told her I was hitting the reset button and back to prioritizing my dental health - she was receptive and wonderful. I had three cavities filled that day. I didn't feel a thing! Before the procedure, staff came in to review costs with me. There was zero pressure to get any work done that day. The space is great - it's open but still very private for doctor/staff and patient conversations. Parking was $5 for two hours and there were plenty of spaces. That never happened as the office staff would not accept my last xray, which they asked me to bring. Instead they wanted to cancel my appointment and charge me $25 if I did not get the xrays. When I asked about the consultation, I was told that could only happen after the xrays are taken. It was pretty obvious that this office & dentist are interested in money rather than customer service. As this was my first visit, it was obvious to me that the negative reviews were warranted. I got up from the chair and said, I did not cancel my appointment, you did. I am not paying a cancelation fee and I'm leaving. When you see it, believe it.
