I dislike about 95% of the carpet out there ... but don't have the option of putting in hard floors. My pickiness was no match for Andrew, however; he helped me find that needle in the haystack. He pulled out collections that fit my criteria, throwing them on the showroom floor and having me home in on the promising ones via process of elimination. When I showed him some varieties of carpet that I liked from a company outside of The Floor Store's network, he researched them to see if their products met his standards and if working with them would go smoothly (not so much). He got an in-network vendor to send larger samples so that I could really see what various styles would look like in my home. And he walked me through the contract process step by step, making sure I understood exactly what I was signing and paying for. Once that contract was signed, everything moved quickly. Andrew checked in during installation and even humored me at the final stage, allowing me to give him a virtual tour once the carpet was laid. I would certainly recommend him and The Floor Store to anyone looking to get new hard floors or carpet. It's probably not the cheapest option, but my anecdotal evidence tells me that the service can't be beat.

We contacted him thru his website and he came on a Saturday to discuss our needs and measure for a free estimate. He was running a bit late bc of traffic but texted to let us know. His bid was somewhat better than the nearby flooring store but he would take longer. he assured us he takes his time so everything is done the right way. He kept in communication during the job, cleaned up every night, took care to make sure everything was right. The installation could not have gone better: the installer arrived on time, worked diligently, cleaned up thoroughly, and was out promptly. But I think he deserves a shout-out for the BEAUTIFUL job he did. He had to remove many baseboards and thresholds, but when he replaced them, he really went the extra yard, not only carefully caulking the baseboards when he put them back, but touching up the paint, filling the nail holes and painting over them, so everything looked perfect. And he even cleaned the thresholds so they looked even better than before. I'd give them more stars if I could.
