We used Albert's for a local move and found them very reliable and extremely competent. Josh was also very upfront about the details beforehand, and we were not hit with surprises. 2 tips to save a bit on the move: (1) As Josh explains, if they have to cut up their own boxes to wrap any fragile items, they charge for the materials (I think $10/box). However, if you can supply your own materials, or feel skillful enough to wrap an item yourself, you'll save the charge. Just be mindful that they won't guarantee the item's safety in that case. (2) Albert's, and all the movers we contacted, charge by the hour. Therefore, keep the chit chat with them to a minimum during the move, as it could result in more time and higher charges. read more

These guys are fantastic. Sabi (from the management side) is communicative and up-front with all costs and services. There is a 4-hour minimum, including an hour of travel time (to/from the job), but even then, these guys are one of the cheapest options in town. We had a three-part move scheduled, which involved stops at three different apartments in Miami Lakes and Fort Lauderdale. These extremely diligent movers worked their tails off to make sure the job was finished in less than 3 hours. They're friendly, but not dilatory, and above all else, they took the utmost care in preserving all of our most valuable items. If you're in need of a team of movers who are not only affordable, but also reliable, professional and efficient, look no further. We couldn't recommend them enough! I've moved many times so I'm no rookie to this. This company far exceeded my expectations! 2 guys, a 17' truck, a lot of laughter and lots of bottles of water but in exactly 3 hours we were done! We helped but they hustled, took care of my things, were cautious, very polite and just the nicest guys ever!
