I can't say enough about my positive experience with Albert's Relocation. I called a few weeks prior and spoke with Sabi about our move. He answered all of my questions and provided an up front quote. It was $110/hour for three movers and a 26' truck plus an hour of travel time. Completely reasonable! Absolutely no hidden charges for mileage, packaging, etc. They even provided me the use of four wardrobe boxes at no additional charge. Both homes were two story townhomes with three bedrooms and two living room sets, plus tons of boxes, a grill, patio furniture, and a heavy antique tool box. They were incredibly polite and careful with our belongings. They worked start to finish with only about a 3 minute break besides lunch. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone and have stored their information in my phone for future moves or recommendations for friends and family. I would have preferred clowns. The packing would not have been any worse, but I would have had a lot more fun. You don't need to wrap each plate individually. You could use some of that material to put between frying pans, and casserole dishes. You can nest measuring cups, but you must put the smaller one inside the larger one. Except the blue plastic one. That should go with the juicer, but since the vacuum cleaner box isn't sealed up, put it there. When you assemble boxes, pack them right side up, even if it takes all the fun out of drawing happy faces and 'This way up' arrows. And lucky me - I haven't packed up my markers yet. It took a few minutes to remember that I got my plates on sale at Macy's in 1978, simple, ironstone. I like them. I'll see if I still like them when I unpack. They may end up in the trash or the thrift shop. If you want help learning to let go of possessions, they're terrific. Tough lessons though, when you really want them to leave, but you can't get another mover soon enough and your closing is in 3 days. I wonder what happens when you lay picture boxes flat. Breathe. We had the best experience with Albert's relocation services. The last time I moved, 10 years ago, the movers were scammers. This time, I was reading thru reviews and most companies seem to have terrible feedback EXCEPT this one. Sabi, the owner, came to my home and gave me a written estimate. I was relocating from Miami Springs to North Central FL. He said that was the price, no hidden fees, no additional charges, that was it. It was very reasonable and I accepted the contract. He was very courteous and attentive. Answered all my questions. He was there the day of the move, his guys were awesome. They worked tirelessly and wrapped everything up.
