Big shout out to the ladies in customer service around 12:30 on 4/30/26. I am not one to fall for a scam but this one got me, was told to go and deposit some cash into an account by scanning a bar code. They said no way, it is s scam, and call the police. Anyway thought I was talking to the sheriff department, seemed so real! They said I missed a federal jury summons and charges were being brought against me. I used another phone and called the real Sheriff here in Jackson County. They said hang up, it's a scam. Still can't believe I fell for it, anyway thanx again ladies in Customer service. read more

Update review: Just got a custom 6 inch cake (total $22.98) at the Walmart bakery for the first time. Very satisfied with the way it turned out. Is it the best tasting cake with organic ingredients? No. However, for the design, it's a great value. We used the online site, placed the order about 2 weeks out, and pickup was ready an hour before we requested. I wouldn't get the $3 up charge for the strawberry filling again though. No real strawberries in there. I hear that the quality of designs are really dependent on who is working in the bakery. So, I wouldn't say that all Walmart locations would yield the same results (or even the same Walmart). Despite that, we will be placing another custom order for preschool graduation cupcakes. Super excited! Also, they had some hedgehogs cups and mini carnations. So, the kiddo got those for Mother's Day gifts as well. Really one stop shop and affordable. read more

Love this store. Every visit - I am very impressed by the employees. Loved the polite and outgoing cashier. This is a really impressive store. It is vast well - organized, and has really great staff. The lovely lady ( manager?) in Cosmetics - with the pretty red jeweled mask - is terrific. She is smart and very helpful. Hers is THE best Walmart Cosmetic Dept I have shopped in - early and often. Shelves stocked and tidy and easy to access - and purchase! In Ladies "Lingerie" there is a very attractive redhead who went to great lengths to assist me in finding specific items. She was so helpful and patient and really knew her merchandise. A pleasure shopping with her . We never visit Medford without stopping at this clean, organized, impressive store. me my significant other rode our bikes from Ashland to go to Walmart and get some bike parts well my significant other was in the store I stayed out by where they charge the disability scooters to give our bikes a little bit of a charge I wasn't in the way I wasn't bothering anyone. Shopping same as always but home delivery is WRONG! Put in my order and clearly specified NO SUBSTITUTIONS. Received my order without notification. It had been setting at my front door in the sun for awhile because the frozen food was melting. Then part of order had been substituted with a product not even close to the original order. Sure you can return it for a refund or exchange. But here's the rub! You have to go to the store to do it. I MEAN WHAT'S THE POINT OF HOME DELIVERY? If they can charge $8.00 to deliver more expensive incorrect products you think they should be able to give the employees a raise. FYI. Turns out I am not the only one this has happened to. At first when they started this in 2020 it was awesome. It was a little slow but you could find out your wait time. I have been working on a grocery order since 3 am. I needed to be able to pick up my order today so I started early. I use an EBT card, called and got the authorization availability before I started my order so I was well prepared. By 4:30 am I was ready to check out, walmart.com. I entered all the pertinent information and was told by message that I could not check out. I gave me the reason that my card was not authorized. I deleted my card information on the website and started over with the checkout. I did this 3 times. I was denied checkout all 3 times. Finally I gave up and waited an hour thinking that maybe I tried to enter my card info too many times so I better wait a bit. I waited an hour and tried again. This time, it gave me all of the items broken down to be ordered. I thought I was getting somewhere. NOPE! It was 6 am by this time. I called the store. Eagle Point, Oregon store. I was told "Corporate's having an issue. Call back in an hour if your order still won't go back through." So I did. Of course, the order didn't go through. I called back at 7 am. Was told this time to call 541-810-4492.....no idea who I was calling, no name, no nothing. Just call. So I did. I got a very reluctant fellow who timidly admitted that the did indeed work for walmart. I relate my issue to him. He hollers over his shoulder, "Hey, whadda we do if the order won't go through?" to someone in his office apparently. I hear a feint voice of a woman say "Call corporate, there's nothing we can do." So I am given an 800 number to call. SO I DO! I just want groceries, folks! A gentleman named Raymond answers the phone after about seven times of being transferred via the phone system I explain to HIM what my problem is. I'm losing patience now. After he collects my name, phone number, address and all that info, he tells me there is nothing in my cart. I am LOOKING AT MY CART in front on me online!!! Almost $300.00 worth of food in my cart on MY end. He looks again, and yup, sure enough, there is NOTHING IN MY CART he announces. I, of course, lose my cool a wee bit at this juncture and ask if my cart is imaginary that I am looking at? No, he says. He check yet again. Nope, nothing there. Our corporate office purchased thanksgiving food coupons for our entire company. It reads as a manufacturer coupon, but it's rough when Walmart turns them away as customers, especially when the coupons are pre-paid. Being treated rudely by a cashier when all you're doing is trying to help is Completely unacceptable. Today at Walmart on crater lake avenue There was a lady in front of me who didn't speak English fluently and who is trying to get large water bottles she was trying to explain that she already paid for the bottle and all she was doing was Refilling it not buying new bottles. The cashier was not patient her name was sandi She treated to woman with an unkind demeanor. Me and another customer in line stepped To help. Finally the cashier got a manager and the manager saw that the lady had already purchased the bottles and was just getting refills and quickly took care of it. When I got it up to the cash here I said to the cashier I was here to side with you or that customer I was just trying to be helpful. Extremely rude tone Don't talk to me about this " I was shocked by this behavior I said why are you talking to me like that? And she just waved her head hand As if you tell me to shut up. That was it for me I asked the manager that was close by to please get me someone else to help me. The manager Justin didn't help him but then As I was explaining what had happened Justin also told me to be quiet. I wasn't being rude I wasn't cussing I was just explaining myself and he told me to be quiet. In my personal experience, Walmart is the last-ditch effort store when literally no one else has what you're looking for, and you don't want to wait for shipping. They don't have an amazing reputation, mainly because they usually suck. The employees usually don't care; the stores are usually a mess; and the overall experience is usually one that you want to get over as quickly as possible. I was expecting the same from the Walmart in Medford, but received something quite different. For one, the store is very clean. Everything is in its place, and it would appear that the people running the store are actually concerned for the overall appearance of it. I love the fact that this store has a lot of items that other Walmart's do not, i.e. yarn and photo albums. Not only do they have these items, but in true Walmart fashion they're cheap to purchase. Finally, the store employees are amazing. One person in particular, the crazy woman (in a good way), who works in cosmetics. She was hilarious; she was helpful; and she actually made the shopping experience enjoyable. The Walmart of Medford will now and forever be my Walmart of choice. read more

Not that anybody needs to read a negative review detailing somebody's experience at Walmart (it's probably easier to find somebody that hasn't had one) I'm going to go over my last few experiences anyway... Today... I purchased two king size mattress protectors for my new bed $49.74 each- I got home and realized my foundation was two twins so I returned one of the king sized protectors- they only had one of the twins I wanted in stock so I got on the website to see if another nearby location had both- the in store price for the more expensive cover was 34.98 but the online price was 18.01 (sold by Walmart not a third party) so I showed the cashier and the price was adjusted- I asked if the price could be adjusted on the other king size one that I bought that day and had the receipt for- they couldn't apparently match their own upc up to do that? I've worked in retail for years and there is multiple ways to pull an item upc for pricing- the upc is literally printed on the receipt- they said that they could have used one from the shelf but they were sold out of course- so I have to make another trip back with the item..... even though the upc is literally on EVERYTHING- but apparently their "managers" can't use their own discretion to provide a good customer service experience even after looking at the totality of the circumstances.... anyway from now on I will bring a notebook and price verify item by item with the app- then have them adjust them all at the time of purchase... so don't get in line behind me ;) I'll also try to do it right at close because I'm really that petty :) A few weeks ago I brought my daughter and her friend in to purchase some makeup items they wanted before a trip- they were closing the makeup section and the employee that was still present said she'd call somebody over to help us... rather than quickly help us herself... anyway 20 minutes later I caught a stocking employee who, luck would have it, was actually a manager- he lead them in individually to select their few items and then he carried them to a register and gave them to the cashier for checkout- the cashier placed the items on the belt and it became evident the customer in front of us was having an issue- the cashier in the next stand over waved us to her open, clear, register, and I was picking up our items (in view of the 2nd cashier) when the crazy old lady that was the original cashier grabbed my forearm and said in a scolding manner... "I have to give those to her!" I am glad I was so immediately stunned because I would've been taken out of my character getting grabbed like that... honestly- Walmart is still getting ripped off left and right even with some of these crazy policies- but they are alienating their actual paying customers badly by using ineffective methods to attempt to prevent it (eyeroll emoji) and don't even get me started on their transient encampment of a parking lot..... read more

I hate to admit this. I really like this Walmart. Since moving, I have to do market shopping and need random housewares with a 3yr old. Less stops is just easier. With organic milk, cage free organic eggs, better quality meat than Safeway, local produce, flowers and a few organic products other markets don't carry - not sure that I have to be embarrassed to buy food at a Walmart. I can give it 1 star because the associate who brought out my order at the pickup was very nice, but it was downhill as soon as I got home. Not only was half my order not fulfilled, they exchanged a sprinkler timer with 2 hose access for a 1 hose timer. I have high risk people in my family which is why I did the pick up in the first place. I was transferred about 6 times and spent 40plus minutes waiting on the side to get the exchange. I had to call back to be told that I had to go in anyway. HORRIBLE handling of business. Who doesn't love sitting and waiting in the heat for someone who isn't even going to show up and then later be told they weren't going to do anything for you anyway. Absolute incompetence. read more

Went here yesterday in search of a 55" TV. I was disappointed to see that most of their TV selection was wiped out. I approached a worker named Steven and asked if they had any more in the back. Not only did he check once, but he checked twice AND called over to the other stores and waited on the line for an hour and a half to see if they had the one that we wanted at a different location. Then, after being hung up on twice by the other store, his customer service manager, Destiney, took matters into her hands to call over and get an answer for us immediately. Though we didn't walk out with a TV, Steven, Destiney, and another associate named Emilee went above and beyond to make sure that we were taken care of and made sure to provide the over the top customer service. I'm from California, so it was refreshing to walk into an unfamiliar environment and be treated with such importance. THANK YOU!! read more

Horrible. A very useless lady who had a mustache decided to make us pay for something twice while I was in labor because she couldn't see it on the recipt. We were trying to rush out so that I could get to the hospital and she only cared about making us pay 10 extra dollars for something we already payed for and then we did and got a refund because it said we already payed for it. This Walmart was actually creepier than the South Medford Super Walmart! Dirty Hippies out front singing with guitars and their dogs! Probably protesting! The electronics department here is much smaller than the South Medford location! For the most part this Walmart is arranged exactly the same as the other location though! Unsafe to frequent. There are so many homeless people living in the parking lot it's hard to get to the store. There are homeless people begging all over the place. They ask for food, money and claim they are out of gas etc. etc. etc. The same people have been there for months. It's shameful but sometimes there's more RVs and people living in cars than there are shoppers actually inside of Walmart. This stores management are fully aware of the homeless problem and they done care. There is a Costco next door but as soon as they move this store will loose a lot of customers. Please whatever you do watch out for the homeless and vagrants out front of Walmart. read more

I don't normally have an issue with this store. I attempted to create a photo book advertised as "a same day service" for a Christmas gift. The kiosk printed a ticket giving me a pick up time in an hour. The next morning I came to pick it up (it was Christmas eve) and they told me they ran out of ink for the printer the previous morning. They didn't bother putting up a sign for customers! I have tried to pick it up three times since then and still no ink! They don't know when it will be in and told me they hope the system doesn't delete my order automatically before the ink comes in. Epic Fail Wal Mart! read more

Dec 28/2018 I visited the Super Walmart on Crater Lake Highway. My visit started out w/employee going out of his way to help me extensively with Electric Cart (recent foot surgery) & stayed w/me until I thought I could handle the cart w/o help. Everyone was so helpful..I had a return that I didn't communicate exactly in what I needed & we needed to redo the whole transaction~The customer clerk was so patient & the floor Manager that was helping his own employees that evening was so patient & respectful of his own employees~ The young man in electronics at the register went out of his way to be kind and helpful to me, also the young man that helped me out with my purchases, was sweet and kind... these people were amazing. They worked through this holiday season through chaos and crowds and to stay as helpful, calm & polite says a lot about who the Store Manager is, because the employees usually reflect that of the Managers~Good job Rogue Valley people! read more

I will never step foot in the Walmart again thanks to Darryl, the a**hole pharmacist. I had the misfortune of having to call the pharmacy located at this Walmart to check on a rx, and was connected with the rudest, foulest, most unpleasant pharmacist I have ever encountered. Actually, let me rephrase- he was the most unpleasant worker I have ever had an interaction with. Period. He acted as if he couldn't understand a word I was saying, talked over me at every opportunity, made derogatory remarks about my prescribing clinic, and acted as if it was my personal vendetta against him in particular that there was a minor mistake on the prescription my doctor had submitted. I don't know what back alley bin he was raised in but I was so upset by the experience that I actually called my doctor to have them call my prescription in to a different pharmacy just to avoid any more interaction with entitled mass of inflated-ego and flippant disrespect that is Daryl the pharmacist. I have never made a review on a business, never found the time or motivation. This, however, was the most unbelievably unpleasant customer experience of my life. read more
