We went to order a cake for a birthday and the decoration was very pretty but it seems that now the cakes are not made fresh because the bread was very hard and in the evening the whipped cream was very hard, nothing like before the cakes were moist and fresh, very disappointing. read more

My theme this evening is "quick to get in and out"...this Albertsons has good parking which is a plus for me. They have a complete bakery, seafood section and butcher. The floral department is always a great sight to greet you as you first walk in the door. Their deli section has everything you need and more. They have a complete wine section that has something in everyone's price range from average to high end, and they have cold champagne also! Albertson is the main supermarket in El Paso. I like it because the produce is fresh. They have a brand selection of meats and usually have meat specials every week. You can find out the latest deals in their weekly circular. $$$ The first Saturday of the month they offer a 10% discount for military personnel. read more

Albertson's made this cake from a picture of a cake I found online. The cake they made looked exactly like the picture I showed them. I am so impressed by this bakery! I prefer Sprouts for my grocery shopping.. but Albertson's is closer to my house. Bevause its convenient, im here pretty often. What can I say? It's a store. It has groceries. It has a deli. It has a bakery. A meat/seafood counter. Pharmacy. Beer, wine, cigarettes. The standard refrigerated bouquets of flowers for last minute gift givers. It's fairly clean. Gets pretty packed in the after-work hours during the week. Normal pre-holiday type rushes. Lines seem to stay super long during the rushes and there doesn't seem to be enough open when the place gets packed. Typical. But in the off hours, it's pretty laid back. read more

This is my go-to store for groceries. The staff is mostly friendly and helpful. The reason I shop here the most is because I use their rewards/Just for You app. to save money. They have great discounts on everyday products with the app. They give you free food and drinks whenever you have rewards in the app. I've earned free cases of water, eggs, $3 off my bill, $7 off my bill, lemonade, Diet Coke and more. I have a confession to make...I hoard shampoo, toilet paper and paper towels whenever it goes on sale. It doesn't go bad so why not? Plus, I can give it away to family or local charity drives. I buy it with coupons for $2 or less. FYI: This store gets super packed at noon. The kids from Coronado go there for lunch. They also have a good selection of produce and meat. I also enjoy their salad bar and chicken wings. There's now a Starbucks in there too. They also have a wide selection of alcohol and gift cards! What more could I ask for? read more

This is a pretty standard grocery store. It was easy to find what I needed, and the bakery was nice, if a bit small. The people were friendly enough. Prices were a little high, I thought, compared to other grocery stores (though I never, ever shop at Wal-Mart). Parking was plentiful. They have a smaller selection than I prefer in a grocery, but that seems to be a trait of Albertsons in general, not just specific to this store. read more

I have never reviewed a supermarket. This store has been the best experience in terms of quality and customer service. Staff are always friendly, helpful, and warm! The food is fresh, well made, and delicious. They have the BEST to go sushi at affordable prices. You can also have it made to order. The sushi is so good I haven't had a need to find a restaurant in EP yet! They don't have the exotic stuff like unagi, uni or toro. read more

New store looks good, "what drives me crazy is the sales they have marked on shelves and they're mixed in with products that aren't on sale. So when you get to the counter to pay find you picked items that aren't on sale. Sales staff is very friendly read more

Love the good quality products clean store, friendly Cashiers and having courtesy desk that help me bag and take my heavy groceries items. The only thing is makes me very disappointed is knowing they are working during the pandemic being exposed to Covid19 and getting pay minimum wage unlike others Stores are paying them more. I'd like to give Albertsons one star but the staff is pleasant and accomodating, so I'll have to give them an extra star on that. What I don't like, is that at the register they ask you to fill out cards about the employees -- which I do, because I think some of the employees go out of their way to be helpful and friendly, even the managers -- but then I discovered that all they do with these cards is tack them to a bulletin board in the corner! What's up with that? Shouldn't they give a gift certificate for a pizza or SOMETHING to the people with the most cards? Even a cheap certificate with a gold star that says You Did Great! would make some of those old guys know that at least their stinking employer appreciates what they do. Anyway. Albertson's food is an odd assortment and of really crappy quality. For instance, the produce department is so poor it borderlines on gross at times. I don't understand why everything from apples and melons to onions and lettuce is mushy and brown. And the dairy dept.? Please. They have such a limited selection of everything it's ridiculous. They're also inconsistent in the brands they carry. For instance I find Land O Lakes Half n Half, but not the Land O Lakes light half n half. You can find dusty containers of Hellman's Mayo in the GIANT size, but not in the small size (for that you have to buy a dusty container of Miracle Whip - yuck). If you carry a brand shouldn't you stock all the sizes available? The meat sales are never anything that make you go Wow!, and the fish department often reaks of old fish. When they run out of ice cream and popsicles they stay out for more than a week, sometimes two or three weeks. And I can't find any addresses for the corporate bosses. I want to write them a letter but they've made themselves completely unavailable. The bottom line is, Albertson's on North Mesa is a two star supermarket. read more

I have never been to one of these before. It was not too bad I found everything I was looking for but I did find the prices to be way higher than your average grocery store. I definitely wish I would have wen to walmart as my original plan but no worries I got everything I needed so I'm sure you can fine what you need but just be prepared to pay the extra dollars for it. I probably wouldn't ever shop at one of these locations again. read more

Mixed feelings about this store. Half the employees are super friendly and helpful, the other half must hate their jobs as they are straight up rude. I would say the under age 30 have bad attitudes. The renovation looks great. Steer clear of the younger staff and you'll have an enjoyable shopping experience. read more

They may want to take away the "3's a crowd" sign next to the only 3 registers opened with 10+ in line for each register.... It's become the norm here at this store. Maybe just don't want to hire staff.... read more
