During my recent visit, I purchased cookies that were deceivingly named Ktown bake shop, and they looked delicious, but once I got them home, I tried one and it was so stale that I had to bring them back, and even though I had opened them when I explained to them that they were near in edible they happily granted my refund. Pro tip: nowadays everything's titled as if it's made in Korea, but, always check. The cookies that I bought were in fact, not made in Korea or a product of Korea, which I believe is why they were so subpar.

The store is clean, well organized, and doesn't have that strong market smell that some grocery stores can have. Everything is laid out in a way that's easy to find, which makes shopping a little more convenient. The staff isn't especially friendly, but they do their job and I've never had any issues.

I'm used to Jewel Osco, we don't have Albertson's in Chicago. Anyway, I was looking for Strawberry yogurt. Dannon's light and fit. Unfortunately they didn't have any. And nobody was working there it seemed like. So I walked into the back freezer area, you know where it says employees only. I perused around in there. I saw some people, they just looked at me and continued on their merry way. The products are there but they clearly had none of the training where customer service is important. It may have been because I was in my workout gear and they probably thought I was a student. read more

Not a very friendly store. They constantly send out reminders over the loudspeaker of how many minutes you have left before you have to be done shopping. I can tell you Whole Foods never does this. They are the epitome of CLASS. The store manager is so loud you can hear her voice from the back of the store. I believe she goes by the name of Alex. Dirty produce area with raspy looking picked over organic items. BEST to go to Whole Foods, Trader Joe's or Ralph's. read more
