I was going to Smith for the longest. I'm always in the deli area. Lately it seems like new employees or no one likes to smile anymore or a lack of motivational work. Well at least this location I noticed Smith on Durango. Things like that gets me goofed out and I wonder how they treat the food if they're not happy there. What I've noticed also why I also come over here at Albertsons I get my 2 lb turkey sliced. I'll go to Smith they'll point me in the direction where the meat is already packaged like they're too lazy to cut. And it's a rip off package per pound. Now I go here to Albertson located on Haulipa. Seems like we have people in the deli that work's or acknowledge everybody's presence or just good with people. And every time I go here it's always this awesome lady named Guin helping us. She is always smiling and helping anyone in general. I always run into Andre also. You start to know their names when they help you a lot. Thanks Guin and Andre no matter how tough the job is, you guys always deliver awesome customer service and always makes a customer happy. This is the best Albertsons location by far the team is always doing their best and going above and beyond for everyone that walks in. I have never had an issue with the food or produce from this location, if your Mama did not teach you how to pick out produce it is not their fault. The store has a welcoming ambiance they are moving around products on almost every aisle BUT if you need help looking for something just ask, they are always there to help. Today I was disappointed by what I saw while I was at self checkout and that was high school kids dressed in pajamas walking out with alcohol and pulling food from shelves and eating it while they sat down in the Starbucks area thinking no one saw them shop lifting...? Also tagging on the shopping cart return? We are coming to a point in time where parents did not raise their kids and it shows. So if you see something SAY SOMETHING these kids need to be held accountable as do their parents. read more

It's a grocery store that is in my area. Prices seem a little high, but it's a convenient place to shop. They have a deli and a Starbucks and it's next to a bunch of other convenient stores. There's no real ambience here. It's just a grocery store. The food is available and ready to eat in their little restaurants they have. Cashiers and the other staff were friendly like usual. Love this place, but tried the DriveUp & Go for the first time, and was very disappointed. Placed an order for 6 items at 6:30pm on a Tuesday for an 8pm pickup. Had a choice between 10pm, and 8pm, selected 8, assuming I'd get there after work and it'd be ready It's now 8:30pm, just arrived from work and the order is still not ready. I could have just went in myself and got the 6 items, but wanted to see how efficient this was. Still love this Albertsons, but the DriveUp & Go efficiency could use some improvement. read more

I am not sure who is in charge of the hot area but whoever makes the chicken doesn't even bother to remove the feathers on the chicken before they fry it. That is disgusting. The employees never smile. There were so many young employees walking around on the floor they just cut in front of you like that don't see you and even don't say excuse me or anything it's like they don't want to be there. I literally love this Albertsons. Everything's always so put together, so fresh, been going since it opened. The service however, has gone downhill. So bad, I don't think I want to go back. A new supervisor, Courtney M handled a question for us yesterday. She was aggressive, rude, condescending, and downright unprofessional. Crystal in produce is amazing. She's literally the reason I go to Albertsons for my fruit. She always knows what's in season. She goes above and beyond in regards to service. Cutting up fresh fruit daily, she's always willing to come out from the back to assist me in my many inquiries. She always knows what fruit is in season. Fresh fruit is my love language. Our favorite market. We like the selection, the presentation, and freshness... especially of the bakery and meat departments, but the team members are amazing. The manager "Nikki" was wonderful this morning in answering our question about buying stamps. So appreciated. Brandi in the bakery department always greets us by name and we never see anyone who works there fooling around. A great store and I hope it continues to be the great store it is today. This store is clean compared to some other stores. The management team of Darren and Michelle do a great job of making sure the store runs smooth. Have a good variety of products and many options of food to choose from.. the only reason didn't give it higher stars is due to the pharmacy as the staff def needs to be more vigilant to prescriptions and be kinder to customers. Pros: Ok the workers are super nice, the store is usually stocked pretty well. Cons: parking lot is a PIA to get in and out off. Also, don't ask me how because I'm still trying to figure it out myself, the hamburger literally goes brown after 1-2 days no matter if I open the package or not. Literally this is the only store it happens and it's EVERY TIME!!! I also have to say their steaks are about as hit and miss as a Will Ferrel movie. I was walking by the meat section when I stepped on water, that's what I thought, instead was raw chicken juice licking from under the fridge glass where they keep all the raw fresh product, just at that moment this unprofessional guy came out, I pointed out that it was chicken juice in the floor while i was cleaning my sandals and my wet foot from this liquid, he didn't even look at me or apologized instead he decided to go grabbed a mop without use any especial chemical the clean and disinfect and went back to do whatever he was doing. You guys should train better in customer service your people, definitely will take my business somewhere else. read more

This was an amazing experience. I wanted to grill but wasn't sure what to grill. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted in a friendly manner. The store was so clean, you could eat off the floor. Produce, fresh and well stocked. I got some limes, a lemon, some herbs and other vegetables. I loved it all. The butcher area was the same. Very friendly and efficient service. The lady working at the self check out, did all my work for me. Very helpful and friendly. I'll definitely go back. read more

We've been going to this location since it's opening and have always loved it for its convenience and friendly employees. We usually order our cakes here at the bakery, at least 1-2 annually but the last 2 times we've gone (not even 2 weeks apart) we have had the most rude encounter with the bakery department. They act as if we're inconveniencing them by placing an order. I would understand if it was around closing time but we've gone in the early afternoon and it hasn't been busy. read more

This is by far my favorite grocery store on the NW side. We come to Albertsons because it's always super clean, stocked with fresh items, and I personally feel like the quality/ selection of food available is top notch. The employees are always super friendly and attentive here as well. Diana their checker is so sweet and kind and even remembers my son and I and we always have such great conversations while checking out! I love how personable she is! What a great asset to your team! During COVID, this store has went above and beyond to assure proper cleaning, sanitizing of the carts, and making sure the aisles stay as well stocked as possible. It also helps that they have a Starbucks in the lobby! Glad they opened this store in this location to give people more shopping options. read more

I love love love this location!!! It's right off the freeway on Hualapai & very easy to get too. Very convenient to multiple gas stations and there's a Dutch Bros right across the street. Walking in it's modern, organized, and very straight forward. Everything is super easy to find and the staff is friendly. To the right of the doors Is a Starbucks with great friendly staff whom I've never received a bad order from. Straight ahead walking in they give you some of they're bette deals on items like meat and veggies, pharmacy is easily found and the location isn't chaotic l. I HIGHLY recommend it here. read more

To tell you the truth, Albertsons has never been my favorite. I'm not sure why, but it isn't. But they just built this location close to my house, and depending on which way home I take it's more convenient too. Plus, my husband told me they had a build-your-own trail mix station. Since it's new, it's very clean and is brightly lit. I meandered all the isles just to peek around. Everything looks very nice. But when I went home and compared prices on my Smiths app, I realized several things were more expensive even though they were the same brand/item. Like the applesauce pouches (like a whole dollar more expensive!) and green onion. They didn't even have the brand of shredded parmesan I usually buy, and the cheapest one they had was 40¢ more. On the flip side, their eggplant was 20¢ cheaper and they had a great deal on mushrooms. The trail mix station might have been the saving grace, but it kind of disappointed me too. It has a lot of premade mixes that take up space, where single item ingredients could go (like walnuts out cashews) They didn't even have walnuts or cashews! Which you'd think they would for 6.99 per lb. of mix. And a lot of the dried fruit pieces are huge. So they are disproportionate to the rest of the mix (like whole strips of mango and slices of kiwi). I don't think I'll go back. Smiths bulk section is just like the trailmix section, and most of their prices are cheaper for things I usually buy. read more

Although I love doing pick up groceries at the store today, it seemed a little chaotic inside. Employees were too busy talking with one another to be able to help customers. Shelves were bare of sale items overcharged for some of my items had to go to the service desk, she refunded me money and I realized it wasn't the right amount. I went into my neighborhood Albertsons about five minutes before closing, my daughter had a temperature and I needed to grab some medicine, I also grabbed some soup before heading to the medicine. The manager on duty said "ma'am we're closed" I said I know I will be very quick I'm just looking for a medicine for my daughters age range. He said ma'am you need to get out of the store we are closed. I was so embarrassed, Another team walked up behind him and of course at this time I couldn't even focus on what to grab her because all I can focus on with like them trying to escort me out. I shopped at this location since they opened a little over two years ago. I understand he wanted to get home. I get it. I just wish people were a little bit more sensitive especially a manager. like had he not come over and started talking to me and rushing me out I would've grab the medicine and gotten out. My Receipt stamp with 10:03pm so he literally tried to push me out the door at 10pm. I worked in retail before and somebody can walk in the door five minutes before closing and you should help them. read more

I will admit Albertsons is not my normal go to when I'm buying groceries. I instantly feel in love when I walked in. It was immaculately clean. With face mask being the norm and required everyone Walking in and every employee had one on. I went to the Starbucks for a coffee and then grabbed some potato wedges and chicken wings for my mother and I. The food was fresh and hot and hit the spot! I definitely recommend this Albertsons for 2 reasons..... 1. it is Gorgeous and 2. it is simply amazing inside with top notch customer service. read more

If you want to not be greeted while in the check out line, this is the place. Jeremiah and Kai didn't greet us, started scanning our groceries and didn't even tell me my total. I live around the corner from this Albertsons. I never really shop here because I feel like i get looked at very rudely. I try not to say anything and just keep to myself. I literally just did self check out walked up to the employee said hello, she did not say anything to me didn't even acknowledge me, yet she talk to everybody around me .. It had to take for my register to say need assistance in order for her to even come to me and say anything and she didn't even wanna do that as the machine kept asking for assistance she was talking to another employee literally 4 feet away from me as I'm looking at her she just kept on with her conversation.. If You're not a social person you shouldn't be in a social environment to work. Or if you're having a bad day stay at home don't be rude to the customer the customer is apart of your job. You can get everything from roses, groceries and laundry & cleaning supplies here. This is a pretty great grocery store in a good part of town. The cashiers are nice, and there's a Starbucks. First time here as we used to frequent the Farm location; nice looking store outside and inside but was definitely turned off by the lack of customer service skills right off the bat. The grocery was already packed with people for holiday shopping but the one lady with glasses in the meat department clearly was not groomed for this job; my husband went to ask a question if the store carried beef chuck and she RUDELY and LOUDLY answered him that 'go look over there, if it's there then great, if it's not then obviously we don't have it.' REALLY?! So because she was rude and humiliated us due to her profession, I was taught to treat others the way you are treated. I strolled past and also rudely and loudly stated 'she must not like her job nor gets paid enough to be NICE.' Lady you have one job and we are all working people as well; but I'd be damned if I talked that way to my clients but you didn't seem to care. So much for a Happy Holiday season coming from you. I had the option to shop at Smith's since it is much closer; I drove a little further to deal with your lack of knowledge, professionalism and I am sorry that they hired you for you to make them look bad.
