The good: Most, but not all, of their products are 100% organic (produce is entirely organic,) and many are free of seed oils and preservatives. Most of their fresh meat and dairy is pasture raised or grass fed. Also offered is a small freezer section containing a variety of meat, vegetable, bread, and breakfast products. The bad: Their inventory is much smaller than their competitors, so selection is quite limited. I also found a fair amount of products already expired or expiring on the day of my visit. Natural Grocers is a decent "healthy corner store" if you live nearby, but not a place that warrants a special trip; however, they add a nice supplement to their organic competitors. read more

Staff is extremely friendly. Super upbeat and smiley, I really appreciate that. My only problem is that their organic chapsticks are sometimes rancid smelling. I could buy 2 of the exact same Natural Grocer unscented lip balm - one will be unscented as advertised and the other one will smell like rancid oil. I don't know what that's about and it's super inconvenient to come home and find out you bought some bad ones. I came back once and showed it to a cashier and they let me exchange it which is great. I actually didn't realize this was in my neighborhood until a coworker told me about it. I'm so glad I found this place! I recently found out I'm allergic to wheat, oat , avocado, dairy, etc.... So, shopping for food I want has been a little more difficult. I could get lost in here for hours. There is everything from multitudes of vitamins/supplements/herbs, many gluten free options you can't find just anywhere. I will say, there wasn't much staff around so being my first time in the store I didn't really know where anything was. Of course, it is more pricey than your regular grocery store but expected for the substitution of healthier options without the allergens in it. One Star - Never Shopping Here Again I've been shopping at Natural Grocers at 6305 Simmons St. in North Las Vegas for about five years, spending between $250-$350 a month, depending on whether I'm restocking vitamins. But after what happened on July 1, 2025, at 6:13 PM, I will never return. I walked in, picked up three items, and went to the register. The cashier--a tall, heavyset woman named Lotty--was standing at her station with one hand on her hip, not moving, not acknowledging me, not beginning to ring up my items, no hello, nothing! Since I was near the scanner and no one said otherwise, I picked up an item to scan it myself (as many stores with self-checkout allow). That's when Lotty suddenly started yelling at me, saying, "You do this every time! I'm the cashier! You can't scan anything!" I was completely caught off guard. I explained that no one ever told me scanning was not allowed by customers (I'm not psychic) and asked her to just use the hand scanner. Then, she escalated things by shouting, "You never want anyone to touch your food! Who do you think you are?" Her tone was aggressive, accusatory, and completely inappropriate. She had used the handheld scanner on my items before, so I have no idea why she was just standing there refusing to do her job--unless she was waiting for an excuse to confront me. Then came more yelling: "You let people touch your receipt but not your food!" I calmly replied that how I protect my health is not her concern. That's when she crossed a line and said, "Your hands are dirty! Make sure you wipe your hands." She then bizarrely brought over a paper towel and told me to "wrap my dirty fingers" when punching in my phone number and credit card. She then shouted at me "I'm a cancer survivor and you don't get to disrespect me!" I responded that me protecting my health is not disrespectful to her. Lotty's behavior wasn't just unprofessional--it was unhinged. I've never stolen from that store, never argued with any employee, and have always been a polite, paying customer. Multiple produce employees have even told me I'm one of their nicest shoppers. I immediately called the corporate office & eventually spoke with someone named Leah and made it very clear: I will never step foot in that store again. And there was no notice to me, either verbally or in writing that if a cashier is not doing her job to ring up my items that customers cannot scan the items. Lotty attacked me like a bear! Natural Grocers does not get to verbally assault loyal customers and still expect their money. No wonder the store always feels like a ghost town--who wants to shop in a place where customers are treated this way? WARNING: THE PRODUCE IS OFTEN MOLDED, ROTTEN & EXPIRED! Let me be crystal clear: Natural Grocers will never get another penny from me. And Lotty should be fired. She's belligerent, combative, and just chased away one of your best customers. To HELL with Natural Grocers. There are too many other places to shop where basic human respect still exists. read more

This place is amazing. Everything you can think of and more. You can tell they really care about what products they put on the shelves. All the produce they have 100% usda certified organic! They don't sell any produce that has apeel or organized which no other store does. They have every type of flour, seed, nut that you can think of. I'll be coming here a lot more often. Natural Grocers is a 5 star grocery store because they carry some unique products that are hard to find elsewhere. Sadly I'm taking away 2 stars because of cashiers not ringing things up correctly 4 times total on 2 separate occasions. I do realize at times it's also that prices aren't updated correctly. I run into this same issue when I shop at other Natural Grocers out of town. What this means for me is that I really need to look very carefully at the prices at the time of check out to avoid this. This week I bought some groceries and I was extremely excited about getting the sale price as advertised. Unfortunately there was an error that I didn't catch nor did the cashier and I payed triple the price and I didn't see this until I got home. I doubled checked the receipt and made sure I wasn't mistaken about what I was seeing. Since I had a few minutes to spare I called the store and asked if this had indeed happened and they offered to refund the money. I went back to the store the following week and was refunded but sadly it was still inaccurate. I wasn't refunded the $10 but $7 instead. And to make matters worse, when I was being checked out I was charged twice for 1 item. Glad I looked at the receipt before I left and they corrected it but the entire thing took way too long. Whenever I shop here again, I will make sure I watch the prices at the time of check out like a hawk to make sure I avoid getting overcharged again. This seems to be a very regular occurrence here at Natural Grocers that customers need to be aware of. read more

Every time I shop at Natural Grocers on Simmons I'm reminded of how pleasant grocery shopping used to be. Even before I arrive, I sometimes call to see if a particular item is available and I always get an actual person on the phone and a helpful one at that. The store is always clean, well organized and I always find things I can't find elsewhere unless I order online which I don't prefer. I'm not a spring chicken anymore so I sometimes need to ask questions and I've never felt like I was bothering someone or have to hunt someone down. Today a nice young lady even helped me with a case of water I needed to go in the trunk of my car. It's nice to see that quality and service is still a thing. read more

Mood- That Healthy Life Upon entering I was quickly greeted with great customer service, asked if I needed help locating anything. I stated No at that time as I wanted to browse the isles and see if there was anything in addition that I may want to add to my arsenal of homeopathic items. Everything is well put together with user friendly tags above the isles. Especially if you are looking for specific vitamins or items needed it is all grouped and laid out efficiently. The store was very clean and stocked well. There are several different items offered along with many sales. Everything is all organic. Which is nice to know where your items are sourced from. I sometimes dont have access to drive all the way across town and this grocer is fairly close to where I usually am. I have found many herbs, supplements,and other items here that I couldnt find readily available at other stores in the valley. Would recommend - pricing is typical for this type of grocery. However in my opinion it is not ridiculously priced either. They are a full functioning grocery along with all the supplements you may desire for your healthy lifestyle choice. I really enjoy going to this natural grocery store located near the Aliante area of Las Vegas. They carry a variety of organic produce, vitamins and supplements for improved health as well as specialty diet food options like gluten free and vegan. I like to explore the refrigerated and frozen food section at Natural Grocer's because you never know what kind of tasty packaged or ready to eat food you may find. My favorite so far was a hemp seed burger patties but so much more is yet to be explored. OMG.. I cannot believe I found a NG in the Valley. Some people clearly do not know where this glorious chain originates from but they found their humble healthy beginnings in Colorado. I fell madly in love with Vitamin Cottage Natural Grocer during my 5 year stay in that area and feel that many people would appreciate this type of health conscious market. All organic produce to avoid cross contamination, non-gmo packaged items, specialty & locally sourced wholesome products, and vitamin brands & household goods that aren't readily available elsewhere. There's so much to browse through and try for the first time - it's nuts. I've literally been aching for some Colorado native products they carry that I was trying to get shipped over to me. They are the only place in Vegas with all organic produce and tons of specialty items for people with unique dietary needs. You can find any high end supplement, body care product, pet product and vegan alternative here at a good price. They also have some organic meats in the freezer section but that area is very small. Even though this place is a health food store, they do have good prices. One time they had whole organic chickens for $20, I got my favorite white honey for $5 (normally $14) and I bought the maximum limit I could....they have great sales. I have been to other Natural Grocers and this location seems limited. Not as many options as others and did not feel As clean as other locations. I was highly disappointed bc I really loved the other locations i have visited. First time coming in here today. My coworker told me about this place. I liked it. Coming from the Midwest (chicago) I felt like they're like Whole Foods, Thymes, etc. not a crowded place which I liked, they have alot of varieties. Natural Grocers is is a good place to go to shop. While all about healthy and organic products, if you're a wise shopper you'll notice it's about 85% health concerning products. Some of the products still contain sugar. Whether organic or not, processed sugar is toxically harmful. Many studies have shown this as fact. I was excited to see a beverage with aloe vera and lemon juice but to my surprise, it had 58% added sugar...yikes. Now don't get me wrong, this store is still amazing. The reason I mentioned the above, is you still need to know what is and isn't healthy. As a diabetic, I have done tons of research on my own, reading studies and articles only written by universities, doctors and nutritionists with large studies to back up their claims. Natural Grocers has a plethora of items to help eat right and be healthy. Just watch out for a few items like the sugary drinks and processed foods. Their produce and their many supplements are amazing. I would say that their prices are about 3% higher then local stores on some things but still not too bad. I'm also sure you can find supplements cheaper on Amazon, HOWEVER, recently there was an article about the amount of counterfeit supplements that contain ingredients to make concrete.. So with their aisles of supplements, I'm more confident that I'm getting what I am paying for and need. Anyway, this is my honest opinion of Natural Grocers. It's a great place to shop, not perfect (what place is) but worth shopping at and learning what you should or shouldn't buy. Just like every place else. read more

This health-centric grocery reminds me of those really picky single ladies who have a master list of several non-negotiable qualities they require in a partner. You know, the ones who are so stubborn about their list that they refuse to compromise and doom themselves to being single (and often unhappy) for way longer than necessary. Natural Grocers is doing great things by providing a source of ethical goods- ALL organic and non GMO produce, several GF and vegan products, and a huge stock of vitamins and supplements, including vegan protein powders. However, they alienate many of the potential customers who walk through the door by only offering high-priced organic options, little brand variety, and no butcher counter. It seems like half of their store footprint is dedicated to supplements, on par with a GNC. I would compare NG to Sprouts or Whole Foods, but on a lower tier: the majority of their products can be found elsewhere, sometimes for less, and with other options. I do appreciate that they carry some preferred brands (Tessamae's, Healthade) as well as a line of solid miso pastes and bone broths. It will be interesting to see if NG's extreme niche-market selection gets them enough business to stick around. Oh, and don't forget your reusable shopping bag. If you didn't think to grab it, you might get an eyeroll when you have to carry your two items to your car. I'm all for encouraging people to use their own or charging for those who don't (as in CA), but there's no reason to be rude. read more

Nice place for vitamins and if you need to grab like milk or something simple. Groceries are lacking in choices but there are some good brands but price wise you won't save cent. Nothing was competitively priced, nothing in groceries anyway. I didn't shop for vitamins or supplements though. The eggs only had one pasture raised option but those where decent price otherwise I would say everything I got $100 worth of groceries was same if not more than Whole Foods. The meat options where very slim mostly all frozen, fish only frozen option. I think they have some speciality items that you likely can't find elsewhere and perhaps for vitamins this place is great? Not sure if I'd be back ever again for groceries though. The produce department some stuff had or was about to go bad, ie fresh ginger looked moldy and was soft. I would check this place out if you're looking for supplements in particular, but not if you're trying to shop for dinner. read more

The store has great products, but their pricing is misleading. I just bought 2 dozen eggs and the price located on the rack was $3.99. When I got to the register, they rang up at $4.99. When I asked the cashier, she told me the price on the rack is if you have your number registered with them. So if you don't have a number, you are paying more than the listed price. Always pleased with the helpful & friendly staff, the cleanliness of the store & the organic offerings as well as hard to find healthy choices of products. From produce to grass fed bison, turkey, lamb, chicken & beef to even organic based juice, milk or kombucha they have it. I call ahead on occasion if I'm looking for something specific & they are always honest & helpful. They have supplements, natural or most organic based skin care products, candles, incense. I find the prices to be quite reasonable, slightly lower than the closest competitor offering natural foods. Worth checking out if you can-at least once.
