We needed some Salted Seaweed, Calpicos, fruits such as bananas, and some deli meats. This store is always stocked and clean. The team members are super friendly too! I've seen some of the same staff at this Vons location, in Northwest Las Vegas, for several years now! This Vons is off of the 95N/Buffalo exit, near a few other businesses such as Target. There is plenty of parking spots available. You can always find deals for Vons online at their website or through their local weekly Ad. If you have the Vons mobile application, sometimes there are coupons in their scan and go feature! Grocery shopping is a difficult task for me. It's overwhelming and requires a tremendous amount of mental preparation to accomplish. If you know you know, if not please dont judge. At the Sky Point location I've found there to be good parking, the store is clean, the selection great, the weekly savings are fantastic, and the employees have all been helpful and kind. Yesterday I had a harder time than usual and when I was close to my breaking point I was met with patience, a helpful hand, and a really caring heart. Thank you Charlie for your help. I drive a little out of my way to shop at the store. It's clean. It always has everything. The people are nice and I like that the store as well stocked. I shopped at the Smiths on Aliante Drive and the Albertsons on Ann road they don't have everything I needed this week. FYI....Please be aware when buying meat from this store check for expired dates, i went there this past wee and when I was looking through the tri-tips I came across three day expired meat that had rotten I took it to the MOD and left it with her to address her meat department team, but she is the MOD and should know what is going on in her store especially with meat and Deli departments someone could get seriously sick or die selling stuff like this!!! read more

Way too frequently they have expired dairy and even shelf stable products on the shelf well past the best use date. I have had to ask them more than once to address shoppers putting their pets in the carts. Why aren't they policing this disgusting Health Violation? Today, the told me it is a HIPPA Violation to ask them. So don't ask them, tell them that even ADA approved animals are not allowed to ride in the cart. It skeeves me out knowing I might be putting my groceries on the same surface as someone's dog was sitting. They are too squeamish to put the health & safety of others ahead of offended someone that disregards the notice on the doors addressing this issue. Shame on them. read more

So I used to love being able to use Vons because it's not a busy store, but even that won't bring me back to shop at this location. Sky pointe Dr. for a couple years I have learned to check every date on the products because they would sell groceries that were out of date or very close to expiring! But now I have had it with this store! I tried to use the pickup because they claimed to give you 10% off of the grocery bill, I had to wait on the phone with two different people today just to be told sorry that wasn't taken off your bill but I put in for a request and you should get an answer within 24hrs! I'll never come back and it looks like Smiths or maybe even Winco will be getting my business from now on. Winco is much cheaper anyways. So that's my story and thanks for listening. read more

Normally, I get very good service at the deli but not today. I went to the store this morning and wanted some Nashville tenders. No tenders had been put out yet. I was told that they could have some out in ten minutes, so I decided to wait. I stayed at the deli counter. After fifteen minutes, the woman in the back brought out a lot of plain tenders. I asked how much longer will it be for the Nashville tenders. She gave me a dirty look and said, "I'm working on it." Once I had waited over twenty minutes, I got disgusted and just left. I can understand if a store is busy, so it takes longer, but I was literally the only person there waiting for food that I was assured would be out in ten minutes. This is the best grocery store! It never feels packed, they always seem to get more checkers to front if there is a crowd. The selection is excellent. I love the baked goods at this location- the cakes are delicious. The checkers are awesome too. They have been dressed for holiday! So cute. read more

I don't use the restroom at this place very much but every time I've been here it's the same homeless guy that hangs out here and he hangs out in the bathroom in the toilet stall and it smells like a homeless person in here. The Vons at Sky Pointe has become our principle store for our grocery needs. The store is clean and well stocked. Employees are pleasant and helpful. In particular there is a checker named Vi who is outstanding. ALWAYS friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about the store. Vi seems especially knowledgeable about the in store specials to scan clip and save. We always look for Vi at check stand #5 and we are happy when we find she is working. I was in a few mornings ago and was in self check out. Apparently the system crashed, I figured that out on my own. None of the staff communicated that to us waiting line. I asked if the regular check out was open and working and they said yes. Got out of line and went to a regular line just to figure out their system had crashed too. No one...not an employee or a manager... communicated with any of us what was going. No apologies, nothing. Poor customer service. And I know inflation is a thing but 8.99 for a rotisserie chicken the size of a pigeon seems a little excessive. read more

When I was in the store today it was very clean. The store was well laid out and the shelves were stocked. Unfortunately the employees are not friendly at all. At the entrance there were two employees standing at the door and they just stared at people walking in then talked to each other. If you are going to stand at the door, you should greet the customers. We ran into a couple of employees while shopping and they did not even smile at you. I understand they can't take the time to speak to every customer, but you can still be friendly. The cashier was no better. She was actually slightly rude and complained about her cash register never working right because it didn't want to scan properly. All in all I am not sure if I would want to return here again which is pretty disappointing. read more

I am a fan of this store for one particular item: It's-It Ice Cream Sandwiches...What is it you may ask? Its another one of San Francisco's treats that are available here in Vegas. Fraud. Many times I shop at this store and the prices that are clearly marked on the shelves are different from the prices that ring up at the register. It is nearly impossible to get the discrepancy rectified. Maybe this store should consider getting different pricing department employees, if that is the problem. This Vons is older and looks like it on the inside, they used to make the best peanut butter cookies but for the last few months they are always burnt on the bottom or hard as a rock. The day crew is generally okay, nothing over the top or note worthy. The overnight ones boy they are odd. They really would rather be stocking than up front. Its no wonder the couple in the white fiat take turns walking in filling up bags of stuff and walking right out. Funny thing is i went back in and told the guy that rang me up that his shop lifters are just sitting in the parking lot and gave the lic plate number. I've been going to Vons pharmacy since 2005. Stan the pharmacist always goes out of his way to help me with my medications refill. I've moved to another area in 2010 but I kept my medication refill here at this pharmacy even thou it's a drive from my house now. This is a totally fine grocery store. The layout is more confusing than a lot of other places-- refrigerated products are wrapped around the full length of the back of the store, with eggs/milk separated from the cheeses and wines smack dab in the middle of the bakery section. BUT there is a full aisle of cheese which I find it hard to argue with. The employees have always been friendly here and I notice that they are careful to make sure customers are getting the Von's club discount. I do have to second what another reviewer said about outdated foods, however. Unfortunately I've gotten home with yogurt that was a week past its expiration date and it was a genuine bummer. read more

I have hardly ever gone into a Vons and I dont think i will again, this location was dirty. Felt like it was needing a major cleaning. Also I was not impressed by the employee putting meat away, and reaching over all the meats, while he as displaying his choice of underwear that day. I mean yes there are saggers around but did not think the manger would allow an employee to look like they literally just rolled out of bed. One sad part was the manager was there and Im pretty sure he saw it also. But never said anything about it, I turn and left did not want to continue to shop. Never once was even told "thanks have a good day" when there was like four employees standing there. I don't know if this location is just unhappy with their jobs but you can really tell they aren't happy. Nor does the management seemed to mind. I would not recommend this location to anyone wanting to go to Vons. I am sorry but I will not be back I will go to the other places. read more

Although I love this Vons, this review goes out especially to Jay who brings out the drive up & go orders. I have a particular drink I've been enjoying this summer and apparently so have a lot of other people. I have had to resort to doing the online shopping and drive up & go method to actually find them. Last time I purchased them from there, I mentioned this to Jay during our conversation...just chit chatting as he loaded my order. Today when I went to pick up my order, I asked him if they had been able to stock them more recently and he said, "Yes ma'am, because of you. I went and told my liquor manager what you told me about not being able to find them and he makes sure we have them now for you." I was pleasantly surprised and to be honest, it really made my day. For someone to go out of their way like that just because, was truly an unexpected and welcome act of kindness.
