Albertsons used to be my store of choice for years but no more. "I noticed over time they overcharge, sales items don't represent the receipt, fresh pre sealed produce spoils in 2 days, fresh container fruits and vegetables decreased in size and increase in price, chips, pretzels are always broken into crunchy bits". 2025 I start shopping at WinCo being a child care owner I get more for my buck and the quality is great. I went to Albertsons on Tues Nov 11, 2025 for Pacific items like cheese on sale. I picked up a few other items my favorite pretzel 'Family Size sourdough' there wasn't one bag that wasn't crunched up and it's always that way 'EVERY BAG'. I'm not sure if it's the supplier, drivers or stockers, but Albertson needs to be mindful and address this issue. I was very disappointed every bag of pretzels on the shelf were crunched up. I got tired of returning items when I could and it's very unfortunate that the store is just existing. I would have given one star if it wasn't for the staff always being courteous and inviting. read more

Never order a pickup order here. Most of the stuff gets substituted or worse they don't even have a good substitution and you're just SOL. I'm talking about literally half my order will be not in stock for every single order. I used to order here a lot because of the great deals. But you can't get great deals if nothing is ever in stock or the employees can't find the items. read more

Not sure what the point of a hairnet is when 75% of your dreads are hanging out of it. Also not sure what the point of gloves are when you touch and scratch said dreads while actively touching baked goods. I would also be wary of the meat department and possible cross contamination with marinade spilled in packaged roasts. read more

I like this Albertsons because they have sales cheaper than Walmart and Fry's. I don't mind clipping digital coupons but many times if I went shopping there on Tuesday, things I wanted to buy are sold out. They just started "Order online and Save", I don't like it at all and it doesn't worth spending time on my iPhone/iPad, it's a pain in the neck!! They will charge you $3.95 service fee if you don't spend more than $30. read more

I would like to toss these folks a bone for the way that they have handled the Covid-19 outbreak. They were hit hard in just one week. No paper products, no pasta, no soup and no chicken. Still, the same reliable employees kept showing up to support the community. Only several weeks passed before the shelves slowly started filling back up again. They now constantly have most of the items that were cleaned out. They have even have hand sanitizer. A job well done! I began shopping at Albertson's because of it's convenient location. This store is smaller than many but is very comfortable and familiar. This store has grown on me. The cashiers are always very friendly and I love the way they step out in front of the checkout when there is no one in line. Thanks folks! especially now. read more

This review is mainly for my deli purchases 2 days ago, which consisted of 8 pieces Fried Chicken, and 1/2 pound each of Classic Potato Salad, Coleslaw and Mac & Cheese. Their Classic Potato Salad is exceptional; almost as good as what my mom made. Which saves me a whole lot of trouble of making it myself. Their Mac & Cheese is nice and creamy, and only needs a dash, or 2, of pepper. Now, most people would find their Coleslaw to be very good. But, for me, I need to kick it up a bit. So, I add some grated onion (when I have it). As well as extra HVR Coleslaw Dressing (when needed), Golden Raisins and Pineapple bits (yummy). Now, for the fried chicken, I have had better. But, I've also had worse. But, for the price, and considering it's a corporate receipe, it's really hard to beat. Though, I wonder how they divy up the pieces. Because my 8 pieces of Chicken consisted of 5 legs (say, what?), 2 breasts and 1 thigh. :-o However, I got 3 dinners and 2 lunches, with some leftover slaw out of this. So, a pretty darn good deal. Also, upon checkout, the cashier made sure that the bag was wrapped tightly, so the chicken wouldn't roll out. And, she packed the cold stuff, separate from the chicken. 8-) So, kudos to her for that. Though, I highly recommend that you reheat the chicken in the oven (I use a NuWave; 4 minutes, and 3 pieces of chicken are heated up very nicely) vs the microwave. It'll be a big difference in taste, and crunchiness of the chicken. Definitely worth having this once in awhile. read more

I love that there is an Albertsons within walking distance of my house. It really is my favorite grocery store. I very much prefer it over going to the "Supercenter"! They do a great job of sanitizing the carts. The employees are friendly and helpful and actually wear their masks correctly. My preferred pharmacy is here and the pharmacist knows me by name which is really nice. The reason for four stars is because of the produce section. I quite often come across produce that is not fit for sale. The other day they had asparagus on sale but I found two packages that had mold. Not the end of the world and I let the staff know. Otherwise no complaints. Again my favorite grocery store. read more

I like this place! fairly nice workers every time, it's clean, the selection of things is alright.. it's a grocery store. The only thing that you need to watch out for, is the expiration date. it seems like they hardly check the food to see if it needs be tossed out, and so you'll end up paying full price for it. Some things have dust on top and it's not just once that this has happened, it's all the time, I know by now to check before I buy, its become a habit by now, but I wish something would be done about it, so that other people less fortunate don't have to spend money on gas just to realize that the food they bought was expired:/ read more

Now I remember WHY I don't like Albertson's...crappy service! I usually only go in for the fried chicken and the Deli ladies act like they are trained to pretend to not see any customers. Sometimes, I see them standing there staring at the empty rotisserie, like it's going to magically speak to them. I assume they HATE their job, because they NEVER smile and they try to get rid of you after getting one item for you. If you want any additional items, they will roll their eyes at you. I would rate Albertsons a -1. Because it's a grocery store. And all grocery stores I know must be competitive on getting business. But since they bought Safeway. There is no competing with frys or any other grocery. They are just too high priced. Was hoping to stop be before 7am but what I wanted to get is tripled from what frys charge. They have a variety of things including an array of beauty products. They had a pretty decent section for meats and seafood. Nice and slow in the afternoon. Perfect! I usually can find everything that I need with no problems. The sales associates are very polite, friendly, and helpful. The prices at Albertsons are competitive in comparison with other grocery stores in the area. I like the deli section at Albertsons supermarket they have a large selection of sandwich meats and side dishes. The Deli service can be slow at times but is worth the wait. If your hungry and don't want to cook, the fried chicken in the deli is pretty good. read more

This is the closest Albertsons/Osco store, and am totally happy to be able to go there. It is always nice and clean, produce is always fresh and of great quality, fish looks as fresh as it can get being in here in the Valley. Steve the pharmacist was so rude and unwilling to accept the fact that my Mom's prescription costs around $3 with her Medicare coverage, as she's payed that every time she's filled it there. He says,"Insurance expires you know!", yet could show me nothing on her Medicare card about an expiration date, and as a 69 year old woman I doubt her coverage magically expired after all these years. I told him that's cool, I'm gonna use another pharmacy from now on to which he replied "good". "Good??", I asked..."Ya know what Steve? I don't want the pills. I'm changing pharmacies." He said "Yeah, good." Anyway, yeah, I have such a bad taste in my mouth from that interaction I think I need to find a whole new store. I'd rather not even chance dealing with his "customer service" again. What a joke. read more

Alberson's has to be the worst store. Employees are not friendly, even when they try to be they seem unhappy. A few cashiers are nice to deal with, Alex & the guy with the beard. The bag boys act like you're inconveniencing them & roll their eyes when you ask for a double bag after they fill the bags with alot of cans.They had Octavia working meat counter and she's been replaced with a grump old man. The young girl that sanitizes the carts is a very polite. Watch their scales. I weights 4 lbs of cherries for .98 a lbs and was charged $11.80. Just a store with a major attitude! I LOVE this grocery store. I love that it is conveniently located. I love that I know where everything is. I love that the staff is so incredibly helpful and nice, I love the produce section, I love the beer section, I love that it is clean and organized, and I especially love the prices. I've shopped around and found Safeway to be way to expensive and while Fry's occasionally has lower prices I hate battling the crowds to shop there. read more

I have an Albertson's loyalty card, but they don't accept it? That's weird. One thing I like - they have LOTS of vegetables and fruits that are cut up and packaged. For the busy person, it's nice to grab and go and not have much prep work at home. Also, so many varieties of fresh meat, fish, and poultry. I mostly like this store. read more

I am so disappointed with Albertsons #00926. I pre-ordered flowers for an 8th grade promotion for my neice. The order was two days in advance. I should have known, when the clerk, Corena, listed the arrangement on what appeared to be a piece of scrap paper. The day of the commencement, I entered the store with a minimum of 30 minutes to pick up the arrangement. To my amazement, the flower clerk , Corena, was busy the whole 30 minutes, airing up BALLOONS. I proceeded to the bakery to pick up my bakery order, which was ready and exceeded my expectations for artistic creativity. Along the way I stopped by customer service desk and reported what was happening at the floral department. The clerk then utilized the store intercom to request additional assistance for the floral clerk. NO SUCH LUCK TO AN EASY FIX. NO RESPONSE TO FLORAL DEPARTMENT. I then requested to speak to the store manager, Mr. Mike Gonzalez. I addressed the situation and showed the pics in this series. The store manager, as well as another clerk, Christina, assisted me in completing the requested floral arrangement. I express concerns because like so many other families, a promotion is a big event you want to celebrate. Especially with the number of students who will/may not go on to further their education . So, Albertsons #00926, get your act together. If Corena is unable to fulfill her duties, replace her. Don't continue to let "ONE BAD APPLE SPOIL THE WHOLE BARREL." read more

The customer service is usually very good; tonight my cashier was Anna and she was probably the nicest grocery store cashier I have ever encountered. She made me feel appreciated as a customer! Super sad, been going here since I was a little girl. Usually the employees are always so friendly and welcoming, went in to grab a couple of groceries and there was a little kid hiding behind his register I asked are you open? He says "yeah," doesn't say one word to me, usually at this specific location I get, "did you find everything ok?" Next I put my card in the chip detector "that doesn't work" he mumbles. I swipe my card, he gives me my receipt and I ask for his name, Billy. If I wanted shitty service I would of stopped at Walmart which is actually closer to my house. read more

So if you ask anyone... I am the biggest Albertsons fan!!! I love the workers, I love the layout and I go so much I can probably tell you which aisle everything is located at. This particular Albertsons is my favorite location. When you walk in as soon as a worker sees you they will greet you with a kind smile and say WELCOME!! This store is clean and organized. The Deli is great and they have good prices when you use the coupons in the mail. I love that you do not need a phone # at this store to get lower prices. The produce section is wonderful and there is this awesome worker named Oscar who is so cool and helpful. He once told me I can make a hamburger with a Portabello Mushroom instead of beef. I tried it and he was right, super awesome. I am only giving this location 4 stars because there are never enough cashiers and that is really annoying. Other than that.. I absolutely love it here! Let me start by saying how great this store is on customer service. I went there on Thursday evening after a long day at work to get a few things, one being the chicken they had in sale for 1.99lb. I asked the guy behind the counter who was cleaning up for the day if it was only on sale though the meat department and he said yes but I can get you some. Ok, the supermarket is not terrible, but they don't have a fresh bakery. Their donut section is bigger than their bagel section, and the produce is not very fresh, especially the berries which have gone bad on me after a day. Compared to you local Fry's or Safeway in Scottsdale and there is no competition. But it's close and clean so they'd get three stars from me. read more

Web site says store opens at 6 AM. I got there at 7 and he customer service counter does not open until 8. There were stockers still moving pallets of stuff through the aisles. They should either open up the customer service desk when the doors open or update their web site. I should not have to dodge pallets of merchandise being moved around the store, stocking should be finished before allowing customers inside. I bought 2 southwest ready made salads, my wife got sick off the one she ate. I rarely get a smile from anyone in this store. read more

When trying to obtain my hormone-control drugs, I was rudely interrupted by a walking zombie who then continued to bite my arm off. I was very much appalled at the lack of costumer service received when I continued to shout for dear, merciful life. A crowd then began to point and stare at my bleeding arm as I started to feel light-headed and again, mind you, no help was given towards my ails. I was very much disappointed in the presence of the zombie within the store as my arm now has a permanant bite mark in my elbow.
