I have multiple sclerosis so shopping in the heat is very difficult. I had an appointment yesterday morning that was very long and decided to buy groceries afterwards. It was after 2 o'clock when I got to the store and the temperature was well over 100° outside. One of the items on sale was not available on the shelf. Jayme went to the refrigerated storage area and found what I needed. Megan, the cashier, noticed that my app didn't calculates the digital coupons correctly, so she manually updated the discounts. She pointed out that I chose TWO of a particular item that required me to purchase THREE to qualify for the discount. So she rang up a third one and allowed me to pick up my third item after my transaction was completed. As I was picking up that item, I remembered there was another item I forgot to buy. So I went through her line to pay for that forgotten item, and when I entered my phone number to get the coupon applied for that last item, I realized I previously had entered the wrong phone number. After having finally completed my shopping she offered to have Employee Aaron help me to my car with my groceries. He was also very helpful, and with his help I was able to get away without getting too overheated. Over the course of shopping at this location for 13 years, the experience I had yesterday is not uncommon. It's my favorite location to purchase our groceries. read more

I have actually cut down significantly the amount of time I spend in this store. I have my prescriptions here and may grab a thing or two on the way out. Why did I stop coming here so much? Simple. Prices. It's one thing to blame the supply chain issues, it's another when it's been a while since that stuff happened and you can go across the street to Walmart and get something for sometimes HALF what you pay at this store. The few deals they have are countered by the absolutely ridiculous prices on everything else. Stuff I would find at Walmart for $6.88 I would see at Albertsons (the exact same product) for $10 or even $11, $12. read more

The staff is amazing. The produce is just ok, and it's expensive. The real reason for the one star review is this- after nine years of loyalty, I made a seemingly iniquous purchase- an unopened $30 tooth brush head. I left in a hurry and didn't get a receipt. Obviously- after 9 years as a loyal customer I'm not bashing them for 1 bad interaction- but this is the straw that broke the camel's back after years of them changing management and internal policies. The brush head turned out to be the wrong one. Even though Sonicare has confirmed that they accept the return without question (since I'm just exchanging it from another equally priced model) the manager on duty wouldn't accept it. Based on that, it feels like laziness is overtaking customer service, so for that- I'm out. The annoying thing is that I'm there weekly for the last nine years. I spend between $5K-$12K there a year, and chose to shop there exclusively. If loyalty doesn't matter to them then they don't deserve it. Plain and simple. I'm now going to send the return to sonicare myself, getting my money back and taking my (and my family's) business elsewhere. MY Albertsons family is now a Fry's family. read more

Done at this Albertsons! With the exception of 2 employees the staff is rude (including managers). I've noticed that there are few employees here anymore with familiar faces. And when I asked if a specific manager still worked there I was told he was "fired for relationship reasons and not to ask about him anymore". When I asked why I shouldn't ask I was told "upper management told employees he was basically dead to the company". This seemed very unprofessional considering he was always helpful, honest, and friendly every time i approached him. He said he worked for the company a lomg time and its sad to hear he is gone for whatever "relationship reasons" mean. From what the employee was telling me the store recently fired several employees that were the "hardest workers because they were expensive employees". I understand now why the store is dark, dirty, and has empty shelves considering Albertsons seems to want to get rid of "quality, friendly, helpful" employees in favor of "cheaper labor". What "management" they do have, BADLY need to be retrained on customer service! On this same day, I couldn't find an item and approached very nice employee in the sales floor (they were helpful but didn't have a name badge on). They took me to the shelf but it was empty. I was told to wait and they would find the grocery manager to help me. I waited forever and was finally helped by a "manager" named Cindy. Her attitude was as if I was bothering her and the quicker she could get rid of me the better. She did say she would "check the back" to see if there was more (there never is!). But she never returned, so I continued shopping after waiting several minutes. I passed by here about 5 minutes later down the soda isle and she didn't seem to recognize me and I could overhear her flirting with the guy stocking the soda. So does Albertsons consider flirting with someone to be more important than customer service? I don't usually complain but I went to customer service to speak to the store manager. At customer service a woman named Cassie rudely told me the managers name and the store number were on the bottom of the receipt and that I would have to call during "business hours" or I could send an email in the Albertsons website. Then she rudely told me that "I wouldn't receive a free gift card for complaining." I don't want/need a hand out but wanted to voice my opinions. No wonder Fry's is buying Albertsons and hopefully things will get better. Shame on Albertsons for being cheap and letting better employee and managers go to replace them with rude, immature, and unprofessional employees. read more

Very poor customer service with upper management and cashier. Please be careful when using the just 4 you app although my items were selected on the App and on "my list" the prices were still not honored. Over 26$ was added to my bill- Go the extra mile and shop at Safeway at least there they help resolve the problem instead of making it worse. read more

Roxy, in the bakery is AH-Mazing!!! I have used her several times now, and every time she blows me away! I normally go in with an idea and I let her do her "thing" and I'm also so impressed with what she comes up with! Not only do they look amazing, but they are delicious as well!! This is the ONLY place I buy fresh meat and seafood. The store is clean and the employees are friendly. They are always ready to answer any questions you may have. The store is easy to navigate. The deli is always stocked meat and cheeses. If Albertsons doesn't sell something you want, you can fill out a request card for it and they will get it in for you. Ok, I had to write a review. Family of six we frequently buy fried chicken from this Albertsons. If it's fresh, it good and reasonably priced. We also get an 8 piece of the baked. Which is ok. Today I saw that the baked looked different. Brought both back home...the baked is almost gone. It was loaded with flavor and a little spicy. I started trying to save some money and when I began looking through the weekly ads I noticed that I could score some pretty good deals at Albertsons! This store is always clean and always seems to have everything in stock. If not, they are excellent about rain checks. Everyone working there has never been anything short of polite, friendly and helpful which makes shopping even more enjoyable. I wish wish wish your employees would take over the Albertsons that is actually near my house. I've had so many terrible experiences at the one on Silverbell and Speedway that I will be shopping at Safeway from now on, but every time I've been to your store the employees in the Meat/Seafood department have been SUCH a pleasure. They've made my day on more than one occasion. If anybody from management is reading this, please give them a pat on the back for a job well done! Their bakery department can create the best children's birthday cakes ever! For the past 3 years I have taken a small lego (this year Castle Forest Ambush) and they put it on the top of the cake and decorate an appropriate scene around the legos.
