I've been shopping here since before it was Albertsons. The store is getting over run by thieves. Almost on a daily basis there are shoplifters that load up backpacks full of liquor and whatever else they want and simply leave the store without paying! With labor day weekend coming up it can be super stressful. I came around 6ish and the store didn't seem to chaotic. I wanted to take advantage of the deals that the app had... I have to admit it gave me trouble!! But a worker saw me struggling and came to my rescue! I talked with Allan a manager who went above and beyond to help me out today. first he helped with the app embarrassingly enough it was a simple fix, but he was on top of it and reassured me it happens to a lot of people lol.. After that he helped me find things I needed and answered all my questions and concerns; especially my liquor needs! He was very friendly and patient in helping me find what I was looking for. Check your receipts, digital coupons are not being applied at checkout. When I questioned Vicki M, she gave me attitude and said the coupons were applied. She didn't even bother to check. When I got to my car, I checked my receipt and there were four digital coupons not applied. This is the second time this has happened. Horrible customer service!! This Albertsons has the worst long line to check out. It will take you at least 30 to 60 minute to check out. They have only 2 station. They open the self check out but still long line. No time to stand and stand and wait. I will never go to this location! read more

If you need a cake big or small, Carolina at Albertsons on Newport and First is the best. Show her a picture or tell her what you want and she will make it happenfor you. If you want to find excellent customer service in the floral department shop at Albertsons in Tustin and ask for Debbie and Crystal!!!! Debbie greeted me right when I walked into the store. Ask if I needed any help. I did and she showed me her all of her beautiful flowers and had so much stock and many to choose from. Debbie is very great with people and knows how to engage with them. I've come here a couple times when I am in the area even though my main store is the Irvine Blvd. location. I really like how this store is laid out since it is a big store with plenty of parking. However, the past two times that I've gone and used J4U coupons or regular sale items, I got charged the full list price. I noticed this by the time I got home so I didn't bother going back and waiting for customer service. There is something wrong with their POS systems that isn't registering all the sale items they are promoting on their shelves or they simply aren't updating their databases with all the sale prices. Always double check your receipts when you finish paying, especially at this location! I will continue to go to the Irvine Blvd. location as this one has continually given me problems. read more

This is my grocery store of choice. Been shopping here for years. Most of the staff is friendly and helpful. I really want to compliment the meat department with Cydnee and Ross. They are always very helpful. Recently I went in about 10:30 on a Sat a morning and they were already sold out of the bacon wrapped jalapeños I wanted for my poker game that night. The first guy I talked basically said too bad, won't have anymore today. Cydnee stepped in and asked me how many I wanted and made them for me in a half an hour while I shopped. Worst store. I only go here if I have one or two things and don't want to drive a few min more... which is probably a mistake. Lines are always long, cashiers not friendly many times. Today for example, I said Hello (something I dont usually do) and was greeted with silence. And nevermind the prices... ever since Ralphs bailed out and Vons was shuttered by an ignorant Washington judge, this store has seen fit to jack their prices through the roof. It's pretty bad if I can shop cheaper at 7-11 or Circle K, nevermind it being faster there and they're always friendly. Only go here if you have no other choice. I regret it every time I decide to just run over here instead of elsewhere. If I wasn't stupid... I would never come back. I just keep giving it another chance, my mistake. read more

It is a supermarket. This branch is on my way home from the gym, so I will occasionally pop in here for a quick shopping. The produce and meat and fish selections are fine, which are really the differentiators when picking a supermarket. Evey place had bread, milk, etc. Prices are very reasonable as well. read more
