I had such a great experience with Anh's Salon!! Only thing was on Google Maps it leads you to the next building over. Luckily, I texted Anh and she was able to respond quickly and help me out. The salon is immediately off of 1st Street. There is a little parking lot to pull into. When I first walked in, it was cute, bright, and full of plants...greenary and fresh! When I sat on the chair, I showed her a style I was interested in but really was going to trust her expertise. Well....it was exactly what I wanted. Service was great- Ahn is very friendly, easy to talk to, and really knows what's she's doing! Took me by surprise that she styled my hair!! I left out of there feeling really good!! Don't think twice, you're in good hands!!

You can bring her an inspiration photo of what you want and that girl makes it happen and is honest with you about if and how she can get it the way you want it with the process and is very truthful. I've known Anh for a long time and have never trusted anyone else to consistently give me exactly what I ask for. I've changed hairstyles over the years several times and she's always been able to give me a clean modern haircut that I feel confident in. Given that my hair has been on the longer side, I'm still able to get it properly layered and trimmed, with a quality fade one would typically get at a barbershop. Cant recommend her enough, go check her out!

Scheduling online was intuitive and easy. Service is on time and on point. My haircut is always how I wanted it to be. I moved to the Bay Area two years ago. I was nervous about finding a new hair stylist since I had used the same stylist in SoCAl for 20 years & was worried about the change. I read some of Anh's reviews and decided to give her a try. I was so grateful I did. She is amazing. She listens to what you want and then proceeds to provide it. Anh's Salon was amazing! I had booked an appointment for a cut and color, but Anh misunderstood me and had me down for only a cut. Without hesitation she said, ok no problem and actually apologized to ME for the misunderstanding! She explained she would have to juggle my appointment with another one, but would have no problem doing a cut and color. The finished product was beautiful, shiny hair!! She was fast, friendly and the cost was even better!!!! Cannot wait for my next appointment in 6 weeks!! read more

Anh is ridiculously talented! I was so happy with the service that I received when I went in for a color, cut and style. I was nervous because of so many bad experiences with other local hair stylists who tried and failed at successfully executing the vision that I had for my hair, but not Anh... I was pleasantly amazed by how she actually listened carefully to what I wanted and succeeded at achieving the look I desired. From what I observed and witnessed first hand is that she takes a lot of care and pride in her craft and execution is on point with this stylist! Anh took her time to make sure that my hair had the dimension in color that I describe without making it look to unnatural, also she took into account that I have asthma and she used a non ammonia formula for the beautiful colors in my hair. During the time it took my hair to develop and as other clients came into the salon, I never felt rushed or had to play "musical chairs" like I normally have to with other salons... which in my opinion is nice to be able to feel relaxed while I got my hair done. The hair massage as she washed out the dye was so relaxing! Anh has truly mastered this step of a few minutes of pampering to increase blood circulation or perhaps to get the hair dyes off of my scalp, but either way it felt great. Anh took her time, yes that is right! She literally made sure each side was even when she was layering my hair and even stuck to the length we agreed on snipping off. ( I have really long hair and most hair dressers just go crazy and cut off double or more than what I ask) So after all the time that she meticulously took to make my hair look gorgeous I was worried at what she might charge me.( Others have charged me crazy amounts because of the length of my hair) but I was even more excited and surprised at the cost since it was only 1/3 of what I would be charged elsewhere. If you're looking for a true professional hair stylist who is passionate about her job and takes her time to make sure you're happy with your hair- you won't be disappointed by Anh. read more

Naomi saved my hair!!…read more I had a terrible haircut by another salon and was in desperate need to find a new hair stylist that I was reaching out to different salons in the area. My layers were so short and my hair got thinned out. I didn't even ask for that style of haircut. It was so frayed. The layers were so choppy. If I pulled hair from both sides of my head neither of the lengths would be even. So bad!!! Naomi was the first to respond and the first choice I wanted so I booked with her! She was able to get me in the next day after the terrible haircut experience. Upon walking in she greeted me with so much warmth and I just immediately trusted her with my hair. She was able to cut my hair short to even out the work the previous salon did but told me to come back in 3 months to allow my hair to grow to get a recut. I made another appointment with her 2 months in because I was tired of waking up and hating my hair. She immediately responds. During my 2nd appointment with her we both agreed to go shoulder length short. I absolutely love my hair now. I believe I was speaking with Shelilah. I let her know my past stylist had put my long bangs/face-framing layers on a side part and I wanted it fixed to be more in the middle plus a little bit shorter. I sent her pictures and she quoted me $20 and we set an appointment. The day/time of my appointment, I arrived and texted the business number to let them know I was there. I received a text back saying they had forgotten to put my appointment on the schedule and weren't able to help me that day. They asked to reschedule, which was a bummer since I was leaving that evening for my trip but not the end of the world. We rescheduled for when I got back a week later. The next week, 20min before my appointment, I texted the business number again to confirm I was still coming to my appointment. I got a text back saying the stylist scheduled to take care of me that day had called in sick and no one else was available to help me. It was unclear who I had been scheduled with since I thought I had booked with Shelilah from the beginning. Shelilah asked if i could come in tomorrow instead and she would help me. I was surprised that I wasn't notified that my appointment was canceled. What if I hadn't texted in advance to let them know I was still coming and just showed up?. But again, not the end of the world and Shelilah said the trim would be complimentary. The next day, I got a text a few hours before my appointment asking if i could come in 2 hours early. I said I could do that and I arrived for my service. I felt I was treated as a nuisance/chore during my visit. I spent maybe five minutes in the chair, and when I was unsure I was happy about how the trim looked, Shelilah let me know anything more would be considered a full hair cut. After that remark I got up and left. I would have tipped if I had felt happy with the service but I ended up feeling unwelcome. When I got home and looked at my bangs in the mirror, they looked choppy and uneven. I texted pictures of my hair to a friend of mine who is also a hair stylist and she ended up fixing them for me. If she lived closer I would have gone with her in the first place, because wow they look so much better now! I was hoping to have found a great salon in my area that I would return to for future appointments, but the lack of customer service and poor cut made me not want to go back. I'm sure other stylists there are good, but I will be looking elsewhere since Shelilah is the owner and I had a poor experience with her. I would have preferred they let me know they weren't wanting to do such a small service rather than taking me and making me feel like a bother. I feel no matter how small the service you should treat every customer like they are important.

Nobody rushed me with "hello what do you want" or shoved a color wall in my face before I even sat down. I actually felt like a person, not just another number to get in and out. It wasn't until I was sitting there that I realized how used to bad treatment I'd gotten. Other salons trained me without me even noticing, packed into a tiny space, treated like I'm on a conveyor belt, rushed out before my nails even had time to properly dry. I had honestly forgotten my time and my experience mattered. Delane's brought that back for me. The professionalism was on another level too. No games with the price going up if you don't tip in cash, which is honestly tacky and rude and tells you exactly how little they think of their customers.
