If I can give this company negative stars I would. I am flabbergasted as to how I've been treated after spending over $2000 on treatments and products. I am 35 and have never done any major treatment on my face other than a normal facial. My skin was beginning to have some discoloration and some slight sagging due to sun damage. I called and spoke with the manager/owner Devon who was very encouraging about setting an appointment with the head nurse Karen. When I met with Karen she encouraged me to try a filler in my face. When I walked in the day of my appointment, Karen had given me a glass of wine and seemed rushed and busy. I wish I would have walked out at that point. We spoke about using a restylane filler for my nasolabial folds. In the midst of the treatment Karen decides to inject the middle part of my cheek and also upper cheek areas. I still keep replaying that part in my head wondering how she could just inject the middle part of my cheek without asking me first. The outcome of the treatment resulted in my face looking asymmetrical where the left side of my face is overfilled and my right side of my face much flatter than the left. When I confronted Karen about this at my next appointment she said the average person can't see it which made me feel completely invalidated. when I asked some friends and my facialist they confirmed that they did see that it was asymmetrical. In addition to this I also got restylane fillers under my eyes with Karen which resulted in my skin under my eyes looking older than it was before the treatment as well as dots that have not gone away even a few weeks after the treatment. I am feeling so depressed about all of this especially when having to look in the mirror, and just wish I could have my face back before this whole nightmare began. To make matters worse when I called Devon to discuss what could be done about the dots that haven't gone away underneath my eyes and the asymmetrical issue with the face due to the fillers, it was addressed in a very defensive manner and in a way where it was difficult to schedule an appointment or to speak with Karen. When I finally spoke to Karen on the phone she scheduled an appointment for me which she then cancelled via email and never followed up with me. On my last attempt today I called again and spoke with Devon who told me to call to speak with Karen at a specific time in the afternoon and then called back and said that she was no longer available at that time. That was the third time that this type of communication incident had occurred with Devon who instead of being apologetic was very defensive about the whole situation. I told her how discouraged I felt and she responded in a very apathetic and defensive manner. It seemed that she was much nicer when I booked all of these very costly treatments when I was willing to put down 2k but not when I requested a follow up session relating to some of the issues that I had due to the treatments. This business is good at creating a good image and marketing themselves as professional but they are anything but. As a result of these fillers my face looks deformed and older than when I first walked into their office. In addition the way that I have been treated by alchemy marin in the aftermath of all of this just makes it that much worse. In the future if I want anything more than a facial done on my face I now understand the importance of seeing either a cosmetic dermatologist or a plastic surgeon who has had extensive training and more than 40 excellent reviews for a specific treatment rather than invest in a money hungry & unprofessional medi spa that has created not only physical damage on my face but emotional damage as well. read more

I had been interested in getting some laser hair removal, and had heard great things about Alchemy Marin, so I decided to give it a try. I'm the kind if girl who is more at home on a soccer field than in a spa, so I was a little nervous prior to arriving for the first treatment. However, once I got there I was immediately put at ease. Devon greeted me with a warm cup of tea as I filled out my paperwork. The lounge was really elegant, yet relaxing and casual. Karen did my treatment, and she was AMAZING. I told her I was nervous, and she explained everything in a way that made me relax, and feel confident that I was in really expert hands. During the treatment she kept me talking and laughing, and before I knew it we were all finished. It's been a few weeks since my first treatment, and I'm loving the results! I've had nothing but fabulous results seeing Madalene over the last two years! I've had fillers and injectables done by others, however, no one trumps Madalene's artistry and skill.
