They roast their own coffee in house, sometimes you can see them roasting in the window as you grab your drink. Every single person that works in here is sweet as can be, but Theo has to be one of my favorites! He is always in such a positive mood if I come by in the mornings and it always puts a smile on my face when hes in the window. She was the only worker so I don't know if she felt overwhelmed, even though there wasn't a ton of people coming up there or if that was her regular attitude. But barista's make up a good portion of whether people enjoy a space. The table and chairs were contemporary basic and for some reason in that particular coffee shop I felt like everyone was on view and really didn't seem like you had privacy. So we chose to take our coffee into the Knies library area against a large window that overlooked prairie, grasses, and wildflowers and enjoyed it there.
