Great coffee shop. Positives first, great variety of drinks and the panini was great! Not really a traditional panini but still great. They have a drink called the Messi because of the World Cup and it's gotta be the best quality Dulce de leche I've ever had in a coffee shop. Service was pretty great too.Negatives. Came in here for a quick coffee and pastry on my way into work one day, as its right up the road. The vibes in here are super homey and it seemed very laid back. They have a nice little seasonaleni off to the side, as well as your standard coffee shop menu. If you are someone that works from your computer and need to find a nice quiet space outside of home to work, i think this would be an exceptional space to do so is. We were in the area so we decided to check out this coffee house. It is actually inside of an older home. It has a quaint and relaxing atmosphere. The barista's were friendly and helpful. My husband had a white mocha and I had their seasonal pumpkin spice latte. Both were good! The seating is throughout the home. They have one room that has a little area for children to read or play with toys quietly while parents enjoy a coffee at the three tables. They have another room with a variety of tables and then what would've been the living room. They have a variety of tables. They also have seating downstairs and outside. We chose to sit at a high top outside during the good weather. They were backlogged on the orders so it did take a little bit to get the coffee, but they apologized profusely. read more

Had no idea this coffee shop existed in the Northland but I'm glad it does. It's very unassuming because it's a house that got repurposed into a coffee shop but this place is great. Cozy vibes inside with plenty of seating upstairs and downstairs. There's also seating outside with a large chess board. We got the cranberry limeade, affogatto, and breakfast burrito. Everything was delicious and the limeade was refreshing. If I didn't already hwcr my morning coffee I would have gotten their coffee but will be trying that next time! I visited Renegade on a busy Saturday morning. The line reached out to the door, I stuck it out and I am glad I did. This coffee shop is built into a small, old home. It is perfectly quaint and cute. There is ample parking and just next to a library which makes it convenient if you want to grab a coffee before grabbing a book. I ordered a honey latte and a cappuccino. Both were very good. Found this gem and it's great. I ordered an affogato and bf ordered a cranberry limeade, and we shared a burrito. The coffee was strong and balance so well with the vanilla ice cream. The limeade was perfect for a hot day and the breakfast burrito was fulfulling. I like how the staff were so friendly and helpful with our first time. They were patience. This place was an old house which they converted into their shops. They have two rooms on the main floor with the kitchen and restroom. They have seating in the porch area and also in the back with a outdoor seatings. They also have some rooms in the basement too and well lit. Such a cozy place on the inside, I would've grabbed a seat but they were all taken as it's not very large on the inside. The prices are not outrageous which is a nice change of pace from every other place it seems nowadays! I got the Carrot cake latte it's good but there nothing super distinctive it really just taste like a Vanilla latte, I was excited about the cream cheese topping but they put so little I wasn't able to get a taste of it without having to takeoff the lid. Walk in and there's some tables and a bar table and Each "bedroom" is set up as cozy seating areas. Parking is on side of property and sometimes fills up. The vibes here are immaculate, exactly what you're looking for in a local owned coffee shop. Came in on a rainy Saturday to check out the holiday menu. Started with the gingerbread man latte. Love that they serve in mugs if you're hanging out instead of to go cups. Found a quiet room, enjoyed my latte and read a while. The music selection they play is nice and subtle. They are roasting their own beans in the basement and a 3 stool bar and table seating for about 8 are compacted into the refurbished dining and living room. Quaint, yet a little too jam packed to be considered cozy. There are front porch seating options come warmer weather. They also seem to be selling locally made items on a table in the corner, but I would use the space for more seating. My macchiato was smooth and tight but a bit too small for the price point, with only about a 2oz draw. The brownie that i ate at work later was fantastic. The place was library quiet with jazz faintly playing in the background. The two young baristas were pleasant but were more engaged with each other than the customer. I would give them another try if i was driving up N. Oak and needed a coffee, but not the vibe that would draw me to drive a few miles extra. i wish them well, but Renegade is not hitting any of my buttons to put them in my top tier coffee shops in town. read more

I wanted to try this place a few times, but whenever I checked their instagram they were closed for the day. I think they had a pretty long soft opening & are now officially open. The first time I visited, I walked in behind two people. They both ordered lattes & I ordered a vanilla latte with oat milk. It took over 25 minutes to get my latte. They were apologetic about it and gave me a token for a free drink (not to exceed $4). I wanted to wait until I was able to visit a second time before writing my review to give them the benefit of the doubt. My husband and I came back a few days later on the weekend. We ordered a couple of teas and they came out at a reasonable time. We also overheard the baristas & I think possibly the owner discussing how to keep improving the flow of taking orders & making drinks so I was happy to see they're aware and taking action. The two drinks I've gotten have been great. They're also reasonably priced. I think the large vanilla latte I got was less than $6 before tip. It's nice having a coffee shop half way between Parkville & Liberty that's similar to Rochester Brewing & Roasting Company/Parkville Coffee and Hammerhand. Right now there's limited parking, but once the library is opened I think it'll be a hot spot for people before/after people go there. There's also limited seating right now but I think I've seen they're doing a basement expansion so hopefully that opens up more seating. Overall love the old house ambiance. read more

So glad to have another original coffee shop in the Northland! The drip coffee was smooth and one of the best I've had and I've tried a LOT of KC regional coffee shops. My husband even liked it and he's picky. Cute atmosphere. Four little rooms of seating plus some outdoor benches and chairs. I had a really good ham & cheese croissant and my husband had the chocolate one. There were muffins, pop tarts, scones and oatmeal too. They stay busy which I was really glad to see. The baristas must constantly take in feedback and make improvements. When I ordered my latte she was sure to tell me they are super sweet. I used to love super sweet but Holiday drinks have been a bit much for me lately so I had her make it slightly less sweet than normal and it was perfection!! Perfect temperature, artsy too and in a nice wide mug perfect for wrapping my cold hands around to warm them. I wanted to check this place out before I brought my kiddos in. I enjoyed coffee shops immensely years ago but now have 2 rambunctious youngins lol. They have books and some toys in the back room so I won't feel awful taking my kids, however I probably will try to bring them later on a morning when they aren't so busy. 9-10:30 am was slammed!
