Octavio was the only one who figured out the logistics of getting a Bobcat on-site and offered a clear path forward. While we worked with a separate landscape designer, Octavio's on-the-ground expertise actually improved the final result. He suggested practical modifications to the original terrace and retaining wall plans that better suited our terrain, which saved us significant costs. Beyond the major earth-moving, he handled: - Full Front Yard Renovation: High-quality work at a very fair price. - ADU Infrastructure: Trenching and installation for electric, water, and sewer lines. - Finishing Touches: Expert irrigation, lighting, and planting. What truly sets him apart is his character. When raccoons tore up our new sod, Octavio offered to repair it under warranty, even though it wasn't his fault. If you have a 'impossible' yard or just want someone honest and highly skilled, Octavio is your guy.

This is an update review now that we have used Octavio and Pacific Premier Landscaping once again…read moreto complete our homes landscaping all around! Octavio and Pacific Premiere Landscaping is STILL incredible! Extremely professional, responsive and just an all around really nice guy! We had a very large project that included our Front, Side, and sloping back yard. My wife and I, like a lot of couples I'm certain, have design paralysis with that "I don't know, what do you want?" going back and forth with each other endlessly. Octavio has a great eye, and countless times he broke our deadlock saying, "How about this? I think this would look really nice" and when we followed his suggestions we ended up being incredibly happy with the result! That's a huge benefit that you can't put value on, because it keeps a project moving forward with minimal stress. Whenever we had questions, he always replied to our texts instantly, and one of the things I really appreciated about his company is that we never had to line up any of our own specialty contractors (electrical, plumbing etc) to do work. He has every discipline covered and coordinates the scheduling of all of that. I've worked with contractors before where they would inform you they didn't do a type of work and we would have to contract that effort separately. Octavio is not like that and he'll coordinate it all according to how you'd like it to look, or be done. Big thumbs up on that! Payment schedules are very clearly explained and documented. Our project included payments in "phases of work" down payment, forms completed, rebar completed, Completed concrete, electrical and irrigation/plants completed, final approval completed etc. and there was flexibility in the schedule if we wished, which made it much easier at one point while we were travelling. He's very open to discussing whatever makes things go smoothly. We loved how he gave us a lot of help particularly with trees/plants (types, locations) Octavio is very knowledgeable in that area and we were very pleased when he met us at the nursery multiple times to show and help us select plants and trees. His work crews were always very friendly, hard working and meticulous, and he checked in on them constantly to make sure everything was going according to plan. It's very obvious that he wants to make sure there are no surprises, and that work is progressing according to schedule and plans. It was a great pleasure having Octavio and Pacific Premiere Landscaping transform our home! We would use him again without question and in fact have several other projects in the immediate future that we're in the process of discussing. A lot of people will search hard for the lowest price (I would estimate that Octavio's prices are not the "cheapest", but they are much more than fair, and I would argue that there is a HUGE difference between "lowest price" and "value"; that being the quality and experience of the work done for the money spent, and with that in mind, Pacific Premiere is a tremendous value! You get a ton for your Money!

The owner,…read moreSteve Hansen, personally took the time to meet with us and discuss our project, which made the experience feel both professional and personal. The entire process--from the estimate to scheduling and installation--was timely and well organized. The design quality exceeded our expectations, and the installation was flawless. Their crew was efficient, courteous, and highly professional throughout the project. They serve a wide range of communities across the Tri-Valley and Bay Area, including Castro Valley, San Ramon, Dublin, Pleasanton, Livermore, Danville, Alamo, Hayward, and San Leandro, making them a great choice for many homeowners. I've already recommended them to several friends and family members, and I wouldn't hesitate to do so again. If you're looking for a company that delivers exceptional craftsmanship, stays on budget, and completes the job exactly as promised, I highly recommend them.

Was given a wide ballpark number shortly after ($8000 wide window mind you. That's a huge swing for a peasant non tech bro like me). When inquiring about the design fee and wanting to better understand the breakdown of the cost for budgeting purposes ($8000 wide window as mentioned above), we pretty much got a "yeah, we're not interested go find someone else." Ok, so apparently it's not great to want to understand. Really wanted this to work, however I cannot say I'd recommend unless you're prepared to just sign over a blank check.

He recommended a fix that would cost more. I didn't want to fight or pay more for him to fix. In addition, I'm wasn't happy that he increased the quote on me 3 times. I wanted my backyard demoed to install draining and concrete to make it low maintenance and fix draining issues during heavy rains. I felt the materials purchased didn't look right and were also different from what other contractor bids mentioned the material they would use. I even consulted AI and other forums online to make sure my intuition wasn't off. Either way, I don't think these materials purchased were the issue because if I am working with a good contractor, they would be able to either adjust to my request in a respectful manner or explain their approach rather than gaslighting me. First, Tran purchased triple wall HDPE pipes for a very long run for the draining (20+ feet). I assumed we'd be using PVC pipes and that was also the recommendation from most as PVC is more durable and less prone to bellying during the installation process. If issues arise, it's also a better material to snake through rather than triple wall HDPE as it is smoother and more durable. When I asked if the triple wall HDPE pipe could be returned and to use PCV instead, Tran responded as if I were crazy and mentioned the PVC pipe is not for outdoor use. I was taken aback and wasn't sure how to respond to this, I've only seen copper or plastic piping used for my indoor plumbing and there was PVC piping used outside we can see right in front of us as we were talking. Second, it's best not to use 90 degree elbow for my situation, and it's better to use 45 degree elbow to avoid clogging. If you've gone through elementary school, then clearly you can tell the elbow purchased is 90 degrees. I asked Tran if he could use 45, and he responded "These are all 45, you can take this to home depot and check." The elbow clearly looked 90 degrees, so I had to go out to home depot myself, take a picture of the clear difference between the 90 degree elbow he had purchased vs the obvious 45 degree elbow at the store, then he responded, "Ok, let me get the new elbow." This is the second instance of gaslighting that made me feel confused and concerned to trust this contractor to continue work. Third, because the draining was going to be installed underneath concrete, this means it will be challenging to unclog or check for issues if something went wrong in the future. I asked about this and wanted to communicate my desire to install some sort of drain cleanout, but I was cut off and Tran simply stated "I've done this so many times" and never answered my question properly. I felt taken advantage of and disrespected with the gaslighting while working with this contractor. I am spending a lot of money and this is a huge job that needs to be done correctly, as trying to fix plumbing underneath concrete isn't the same as fixing plumbing underneath an indoor sink. The fact that an elbow could not even be purchased properly was the last straw and I did not feel comfortable moving forward. I give 2 stars for showing up each day and working hard to demo the backyard as there was a lot of weeded grass and plants that needed to be removed.

We ended up with a flooded garage and basically a mini-lake forming around the house. It was a mess! I called Muneer from Intuitive Landscaping, and he was absolutely incredible. He was literally about to head off on a trip, but he dropped everything to come over and help us out. He even called in Victor, who came in on his day off to replace the sump pump, get all the water out, and just take care of the entire situation for us. Honestly, it's so rare to find a company that genuinely cares this much about their customers. I just want to say a big thank you to the whole Intuitive Landscaping team.
