I stopped in to grab a few bunches so I could build my partner a custom bouquet at home -- roses, winter peonies, and lilies that were all fresh, full, and priced better than anywhere else around here. The customer service at this location is phenomenal. The lady at the register saw the flowers and asked what I was making. When I told her I was building a bouquet myself for my partner, she lit up and said, "That's how you do it." Little moments like that just make the experience feel personal. Trader Joe's employees always bring good energy, and it shows. I took everything home, trimmed the stems, mixed the colors, and built the bouquet with my own hands. The roses brought the romance, the winter peonies added that soft winter elegance, and the lilies tied the whole thing together like a final touch only she would notice. While I was there I also grabbed steaks to cook her dinner later that night. Between the flowers and the meal, Trader Joe's basically gave me everything I needed to make the whole evening special without running all over town. When I handed her the bouquet and then served dinner, the look on her face made the effort worth it. Staff are super friendly, and there were cashiers at every check out lane. I've been disappointed by other locations recently as they frequently are out of stock of essential items, groceries weren't fresh, and hot food items were old and overcooked, but that wasn't the case here. I admit I don't know that much about the inner workings of grocery store operations and management, but I can tell whoever is in charge of this specific location is going above and beyond.

I will go out of my way to shop here moving forward. I love the intimacy of this place. The produce is abundant and fresh which is much appreciated. They have a variety of offerings. It would be nice if they offered ground turkey and Hero Bagels so I didn't need to venture out. My only issue was not being able to find spices so I had to stop somewhere else for it. All in all, great first experience here. And I love the reward/point system that have going on.

what we thought were 2 yellow watermelons for $18 EACH…read more When we got home (35 min. drive) one of them was red center but we paid of course for yellow center, my mother doesn't drive so we went back a day later with a third of watermelon because family members ate a portion. Mind you, you don't know what color it is until you cut into it which they wanted the whole watermelon returned which we returned a 1/3 at which they stated: then stated they should give us a 1/3 yellow watermelon back. Fine then they should pay for my gas for1 hr. Round trip and MY TIME AND THE DISTRESS to correct WHAT THEY WRONGFULLY SCREWED UP which till this day they never apologized for. I'm truly thinking at this point that they did it on purpose knowing we probably didn't live there and it's just assume we would not bring it back. They were extremely cold, Unapologetic, And hateful 1) We don't do exchanges or refunds or returns straight up, letting us know they were not going to do anything. At this point, we are irate seeing they absolutely DID NOT CARE why we were upset by their mistake. They treated my niece who is a lawyer like trash thinking she was about to steal watermelon from them before we bought. So the treatment was worse when asking them to correct their mistake. At that point. My mother was irate and cursed at her, as I got rude once we Realized they weren't gonna do anything at that point things got real. As a retailer, they should understand that when you're coming in with a complaint, that's not the first thing you say to them: We're not doing anything.
