I had to deal with associate Alexandra. When i went to check out i had my wagon and the associate that was checking people out tried to tell me she would not help put my stuff in the wagon because she does not want to bend down, i then proceeded to let her know that I can put my stuff in my own wagon. She then said that she scans fast and started throwing my stuff at my that i put on the belt. I let her know it was her job to scan people and she didn't have to be rude she rolled her eyes and told me that i should of used a basket. i told her to allow me a moment while i put everything in my wagon so i can pay. when i went to pay and ask for my receipt she told me i had to wait and finish everything on the screen which it was nothing on the screen i let her know. she threw the receipt at me a and told me bye get out of the store. i will be letting everyone on my social media know to not go to this store and to watch out for Alexandria. She didn't want to provide me with corporate number or did she want to give me the manager information. read more

My mom turned me on to this place. It's an odd little assortment of sorts. They have beer and wine, some popular brands at discounted prices. The cheeses are a full spectrum for entertainment or just to keep your gut-biome top notch. I also love browsing through the middle section which has portable workout stuff, hats, cookware... I always find something to take home with me. Don't forget to bring a quarter for the shopping cart, you get your quarterback when you are done. And you'll also need a bag or two. read more

Reluctantly after visiting this location after a long hiatus, I am compelled to deduct a star for multiple reasons. We've been frequenting a newer Aldi location north of here on FM 2920 that has met my expectations and then some. But today we realized we had neglected to purchase a few items on our list. This particular Aldi store is geographically the closest mapped for us, so we decided to venture here to pick up a few items that we had left out of our purchases the day before. What a disappointment. When you walk into any Aldi store, the first thing you're greeted with are piled-high boxes of a vast variety of chips. This store had a scant offering, so much so that there were so few that I could see through to the other aisles. Chips weren't on my list today -- and a good thing -- because there was a very lean selection. Produce was inferior. Considering that I had just been at another location the day prior and was able to compare visually what I saw yesterday to what I saw today: I passed up everything they had to offer and if this were my first impression of Aldi, I'm not certain I would return. Hubby and I grabbed the few items we did need out of the dairy case and proceeded to the check out. Except here's where we threw in the final towel: Other Aldi stores, when presented with long lines, will always (and I mean ALWAYS) open another check out lane. Not this one, though. There were people in the sole lane open that had meandered back into the aisles awaiting their turn. Deplorable. One check out with at least 10 people backed up and no indication that any new station would be opened? We returned our items to the dairy case and left not purchasing anything. I doubt I'll be back to this location. Perhaps I hit them on a busy afternoon which is why I'm only deducting one star, but Aldi needs to open up their eyes to realize this store and the clientele that frequent it deserve better. read more

I live in the Heights, so I must Drive. To. Get. Here. But it's soooo worth it. I come out here every two weeks now. It's about the size of a Walgreens, which surprised me, at first. And then I remembered that, yes, this follows the German model --- tiny supermarkets. Specifically, there are GREAT BUYS on large eggs, milk, juice, and meats. And not just inexpensive, but HIGH QUALITY. The large eggs are MUCH larger than what I can find at Kroger, and the shells are harder ---- to me, this means healthier chickens. They also have cool German pumpernickel and rye breads, that I can't find in regular stores. PLEASE, OPEN AN ALDI THAT IS CENTRALLY LOCATED!!! ALDI is very German (Euro) in that you must pay $0.25 deposit for a shopping cart; you get this back when you return the cart. This really prevents people from leaving carts all over the place, and it reduces the cost of hiring more employees. Also, you must pay for plastic and paper bags (paper is cheaper), so bring your own bags .... And you'll bag your own groceries. Also, I think it's awesome that the cashier GETS TO SIT DOWN. Seriously, why make these people stand for 8 hours! That's outrageous and seriously bad for the body! Yay, ALDI! read more

So this Aldi is near 1960 and Falling Creek. Convient location! Their flyers always bring me in and ita mainly for the Non Food items or seasonal home things! I really dont care for the ofd brand products. You can find name brand food product but I find them actually priced Higher! The produce section is Hit or Miss! When your shopping look for empty stock box to use to carry out your stuff if your buying much..to transport to your car n home. Or bring your own reusable bags! The biggest reason for giving this lil corner mart only 3 Stars is because they almost always only have ONE Cashier open and Line can be long! Be patient! read more

Aldi is probably the best thing for a college student, they have fresh, delicious food at exceptionally low prices. Unlike other places, which shall not be named, *cough *cough, Joe V's, the food is not expired upon purchase. Aldi keeps their prices low by buying from local producers, not selling food that probably isn't safe for consumption. There are some goods that you can buy from larger producers if you have a commodity fetishism like me, but they will most likely be at the same price as an other grocery store. If you are going to buy all the name brand products, then you might as well go to a regular store. There is a Walmart a minute a way and a Target about 12 minutes west on the same street. Just so you know! Anyway, Aldi is great! read more

Sort of odd little store. You have to insert a coin for a cart. You are forced down a main aisle of food to get to the rest of the store, and if you decide you want something you saw, you have to walk all the way back down that aisle, like a fish swimming up stream. They have some really good deals, but mostly the food is priced similar to other stores. Thing is, they often have things you can't find in other stores. It's always fun to see just what they'll have. I've been finding that they do a piss-poor job marking the food, especially the frozen food near the produce. The prices in no way align with where the food is stored. So you're looking at frozen fish in one freezer, but the price was around the corner on a freezer with pizza. The check out is much as you'd find in Europe. Unload your things, where they get scanned by (usually) a very nice/polite checker and placed back in the cart. You get to bag your own groceries, which I think is great, since I always bring my own bags. You get the coin back when you return the cart to the staging area. My realtor turned me onto this place. I'm so happy she did. read more

I love this store! I don't need name brand everything and this is the best place for bargains. Eggs and milk are half the price of everywhere else. Their meats are good quality and they even get German specialty items in for way less than places like world market. Bring a quarter for the kart ( you get it back when you return it ) and being shopping bags or you pay for each bag. Smart! This all brings the prices down. This is NOT trader joes but yes it is owned by them. If you want the high end version go there instead. read more

Awesome prices and great service! It may not have the variety of other stores, but hey, I went in here to shop for Superbowl Sunday and found everything I needed for under $40. Eggs and milk are a steal and they have all the essentials for bargain prices. Their wine, while not high end, makes for a great and affordable table wine and their beer is decent. Their staff is friendly and the store is small enough to navigate without too much trouble. Very happy we have one of these stores in our neighborhood. read more

I love Aldi because of the prices. Trader joes and Aldi are from the company and just like TJ, most stuff here are private brands. It's cheap and close to home! It's very small store and you will get blown away how nice the people are here! It's a really nice addition to this area of town and hope to see more open up! read more

I don't get the andi crazy. Went here today and was not impressed at all. I picked up a product (Dasani water) and the cashier said she couldn't sell it because it doesn't scan. Then why are they right when you walk in with stacks of the product? Ridiculous! I'll stick to Kroger where everything is not overpriced, I can get plastic bags, and there's more than 1 variety of each product. read more

At first glance I wasn't sure I was going to like this place. When you first get there you pop a quarter into your cart which unchains it from other carts so you can use it. The quarter actually stays in the cart til you return it when you're done. When you walk in the place has stuff stacked on each side of the isle which makes the store seem like a cross between foodtown and big lots. I really doubt most people could do all their grocery shopping here; but lets say you just have to stop for a few things, this place is definitely worth visiting. Their prices on many items were great. The only weird thing is I found myself buying things I don't normally buy simply because they were abnormally inexpensive. This place is also pretty unorganized, and you find random things in random isles. As you get ready to pay for your groceries, you either have to have your own grocery bags, buy nice extra large plastic bags for .10 each, or just don't use a bag at all. I chose to buy the .10 bags and I was surprised to see that the cashier didn't put a single one of my things in the bags that i purchased. In fact, she was sitting down while checking me out and just put all my things straight into my cart. After you get out of the line they have these long side tables where you can bag your own groceries. Once you get done with everything and return your cart, you get your original quarter back. I'm a lazy person in general, so bagging my groceries and ultimately leaving the cart at the door and carrying my bags to the car wasn't really fun. However, the prices I paid outweighed the odd experience. read more
