Coffee here is delicious! I got the smores latte two days in a row it was so good. They have nitro cold brew too. It's okay. I would recommend a latte. Plenty of covered outdoor seating and indoor seating with bathrooms and outlets. They do not allow dogs inside.

The coffee here is exceptional. Roasted very well with attention to details like foam art! Sometimes service can be slow, but that's entirely because of how packed it can get - a testament to how good this place truly is! The açaí bowls are a bit on the pricier side, but honestly (ha, ha) so yummy.

Staff is very friendly. Creative menu selection as far as coffee options. The person taking my order recommended the brown sugar cinnamon latte which is my vibe 100%. It was very good. The inside is very well decorated although WiFi was slow for me just fyi if you're doing work from there. Great vibe all around and clean.

This coffee shop is great overall. Staff is attentive and nice. The breakfast sandwich was excellent. Coffee was also delicious. They gave a lot of indoor and outdoor seating. Menu is large for a coffee shop. Downsides are the high prices and loud club style music. It's distracting and obnoxious.

Came here from out of town and was pleasantly welcomed by this sweet coffee shop! There is plenty of room to wfh and they even have some tables reserved specifically for "community" which I loved. They coffee is delicious also! Got the nitro cold brew.

Lots of good looking items on the menu at Honest Coffee. Wanted to try them all! I decided on the Egg, Brie & Strawberry Fig Jam breakfast sandwich. It was good but not quite what I expected. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Plenty of seating even with it being pretty busy.

Love the atmosphere, everyone is super friendly here and highly recommend a cinnamon roll!!! Perfect amount of cinnamon and glaze. Paired with a plain latte or cortado will leave you ready to tackle the day!!

1st time visit - Excellent service - very attentive and friendly...Cool atmosphere! We parked on the street - it is downtown so there is no parking lot which may not be an issue for some but we are used to a more suburban life with plentiful parking spots. My husband and I both ordered the sausage egg and cheese biscuit. I do recommend it. Nice place. We would return again.

What a beautiful coffee shop. This place has plenty of seating with all your favorite coffee drinks and some food options as well. Fast friendly service with lots of plants and sunshine. My cuban was delightful.

Great service and delicious coffees and tea. Did not grab anything to eat as we were hitting the road. Location is beautiful and the staff is friendly and attentive.

Currently it's listed as on north parkway, which is incorrect. Anyway. Back as a grad student at UA, I had an açaí bowl place I was obsessed with: Frutta Bowls. It was pretty much the only thing I missed about Tuscaloosa after moving back (sorry, not sorry). Try as I might, I couldn't find a place in Huntsville that made anything close to FB. The açaí would be too icy, the topping ratio would be way off, the bowl would be too sweet or not sweet enough...the list goes on. But! City Bowls has finally remedied that with some fruit bowls that live up to my expectations. They make acai, pitaya, and green bowls here. The one time I went inside it looked like they also had a small, simple coffee menu, too. The topping selections are wide and varied and there is a great selection of pre-built bowls, or you can build your own. Three different sizes of bowls await you, from the snack-sized 8 oz to the hearty meal sized 16 oz. The inside is clean, if maybe still a little bare-feeling. They have a drive-through window, too, which I LOVE, though since every bowl is made with fresh-cut fruit, don't expect to blast in and out in less than 5 minutes. Your patience will be rewarded! They don't have exact calorie information available but they do give some broad details (e.g. less than 600, etc.), which is appreciated. My two favorite bowls so far are the powerhouse bowl and the island bowl. The powerhouse comes with acai, granola, blueberries, strawberries, bananas, and peanut butter and Nutella drizzle, while the island bowl is made with pitaya, granola, kiwi, strawberries, and pineapple, with coconut flakes, honey, and bee pollen on top. They are both delicious, plenty filling, feel healthy, and with a balanced amount of sweetness, despite no added sugars! The ratio of toppings to base is close to perfect and the base has never been icy or gritty. No fifth star quite yet just because service on 2/3 visits so far has been a little bit curt. Not in a horrifically rude or mean way, just in like a "mostly teenage staff" kind of way, lol. I definitely intend to continue returning because I can never get enough fruit bowls, so if quality continues to be exceptional and/or as service gets a little friendlier I'll move up to a fifth star. The food is more than deserving of a try if fruit bowls are your thing!

Playa Bowls is one such option, located near Toyota Field. I visited a couple of weeks ago for a quick lunch before going back to work and had a very nice time! The inside is tropical themed and very cute. I will say I'm ALWAYS hot and even I found it a bit chilly in there, but I guess that makes sense -- keeping all the bases (acai, pitaya, etc) cool and such. You order at the counter and employees call your name when your food is ready. Everyone I interacted with was perfectly pleasant and working hard. This particular chain offers a good many more combinations than many other fruit bowl competitors, which I think is mostly a good thing, though the menu can be a little overwhelming! In addition to bowls, they also offer smoothies and juices. Bases (in other words, the smoothie-like substance that forms the bottom part of a bowl) can be acai, mango, pitaya, oatmeal, or a green, coconut, or banana blend. Again, a little overwhelming, but fun to have so many options. I settled on the Electric Mermaid, which has a pitaya base and is topped with granola, pineapple, mango, kiwi, coconut flakes, and honey. Sadly, they were out of kiwi when I visited, but the employee was kind enough to offer to substitute another fruit or to double up on one of the fruits already in the bowl. I did double pineapple because it's my favorite. :) Overall, the bowl was yummy and well-balanced. All the fruits were perfectly ripe, not too mushy, not too cold, etc. It ran a little on the sweeter side thanks to the honey, but overall, I'd eat it again! There isn't a Playa Bowls particularly close to me, but I'd be happy to return and continue to try out some of their other combinations. If you're an acai bowl fan, I don't think you'll be disappointed here.

The pleasant young dude helping me says coconut milk is on its way!! For vegans/veggies- they have wraps, a few salad choices, and the flat bread which I ordered... Food-not impressed with cauliflower flat bread. It's a horrible vehicle for toppings because it gets soggy quick and blends textures with the melted cheese- it's off putting BUT there's a saving grace in that you can order the wrap instead. Flavor was there though. The chicken and goat cheese with Frank's hot sauce is delicious and simple and actually has great flavor! You can order it without meat or beyond chickN. There's ample parking since it's in a very large shopping center. The inside is larger than expected with plenty of spots to sit. I could see working on a laptop in here; it's well air conditioned and has a nice vibe. Several staff members were behind the counter and they were quick to greet me and begin work on my order. I got the grain and berry, which had bananas, blueberries, and strawberries on a bed of granola and acai, with peanut butter, Nutella, and coconut flakes. It was packaged and ready to go in a reasonable amount of time. Compared to other places, I did think the price was a bit high. I enjoyed my fruit bowl when I ate it for dinner a little bit later. The acai wasn't overly sweet and the ratio of granola to fruit was pretty perfect. I was missing the coconut flakes - idk if they didn't put them on or if I just never detected them. The fruit ratio was also a little off in my opinion -- only a few diced up pieces of strawberries, a handful of blueberries, and then a LOT of sliced bananas. Lastly, I really wish the peanut butter and Nutella had been drizzled on top. At first I thought I didn't get any at all, but I eventually realized it was in a layer below the fruit and above the granola. This might've been done to preserve the appearance of the bowl/lid since I got it to go, but I feel the flavors got a little lost when I ate it. Overall, these are minor nitpicks/personal preference so not a huge deal. I could easily see myself returning for another bowl in the future. Thanks, Grain and Berry!
