Aldi is my favorite grocery store! They have great prices, great finds, and great products! This store doesn't have all the frills of other grocery stores, but that's also one of the reasons why I love it! Download the app to get Weekly Ads, This Week's Finds, and Upcoming Finds. You can also do your shopping from the comfort of your couch and pick up your groceries curbside!

Aldi is like Sam's but they do not force you to buy 50 gallons of something to get the 50 gallon price. AWESOME!

We are transplants from Miami and have a difficulty getting the produce we use regularly. At Janta's they have everything fresh Caribbean. The frozen selection is out of this world. They always have the appropriate food and spices for Indian holidays. I love the variety of paneer cheese they have and the Spices are plentiful. If you have ever decided to explore Indian cuisine this is the store for you.

I don't do Indian cooking (glad this market's right next door to the Sunrise Supermarket, since I do cook Chinese a lot!). I'm not Indian - my grandmother and 23andme agree that I'm 100% northern European. So there's a lot I can't comment on. So - They have a very extensive selection of Indian frozen foods - I'm always stocked up on saag paneer from there. Worth a trip to the store just for that. In the back of the store there's a large refrigerated room well stocked with fruits and vegetables, both familiar and exotic - I've been getting my ataúlfo mangos there all season. Worth a trip to the store just for that, too. I photographed it for you. They also carry a considerable selection of seasonal Hindu religious and cultural items, though this elderly Episcopalian isn't able to comment on them. If they have a Web site, I can't find it. There's a Jantā Farmers Market in Chattanooga, also.

My wife, mom, and I arrived around 7:45 PM--just 15 minutes before their posted 8:00 PM closing time. I asked if it was too late to get dinner, and without hesitation, several staff members welcomed us in with big smiles and said, "not at all." That kind of genuine hospitality is rare, especially that close to closing. Brooklyn took care of us, and she was outstanding. From start to finish, she never once made us feel rushed, and neither did anyone else on staff. There wasn't even the slightest hint that they were trying to wrap things up for the night. That speaks volumes about the culture there. We've driven past this place for years saying, "we need to try it," and now our only regret is not stopping in sooner. The food was phenomenal--true Southern-style comfort food made fresh daily. I had the chicken fried steak, my wife had the pulled chicken, and my mom ordered the bologna sandwich. Every dish was spot on. My wife actually stopped in a month or two ago and has been going back every week or two since--and now I completely understand why. The restaurant was impeccably clean, and the entire staff gave the impression that they genuinely enjoy working there. That kind of environment doesn't happen by accident. They hit the mark in every area--food, service, cleanliness, and overall experience. 10 out of 10 cast iron skillets--seasoned to perfection and worth coming back for again and again. Highly recommend!!!

I had not been in DECADES -- but someone mentioned that they did a good chicken-fried steak, so I had to try. (I'm from Texas where CFS is part of the holy Trinity of Mexican, barbecue and CFS). Well, the CFS was pretty good, but I won't say great. Big, well-breaded, tasty and with good white gravy. But the sides were superb; I had fried green tomatoes and potato salad. I loved the chow-chow sauce combined with ranch dressing on the FGT, and the salad was very creamy and tasty. I'm not a potato salad snob; I've had it done many ways and I know some prefer one style over another....all I know is this went fast. Oh, by the way, it's a BIG meal. No person should eat all of that in one setting! I nearly forgot, I loved the cheese biscuit. It was very dense and so tasty. Hard to stop eating that before I packaged up about half my meal (and enjoyed very much the next day). Amenities-- they sell beer; even though I did not have that day, I know some meals I'd have loved to add a well-priced bottle. Service was great, friendly and responsive. I like the places that let me scan a QR code to pay and tip, and they had that. Also offered lots of desserets, both at the table and with a little bakery corner when you walk in/out, so you could pick up cookies, etc. At first I thought it was a bit pricey ($17 for most meat-and-two plates), but with the quality, worth it all. Oh, I even enjoyed the clientele...this is the kind of place full of older folks, one of whom had to comment on my food as she walked out, and then she stood and chatted with me a few minutes about how good it all was. Classic!

They have a great variety of organic and "healthier for you" options and are very friendly, and I trust a lot of their products and ingredients. The only downside is that I absolutely hate to go through self checkout. They seem to never have somebody to run the regular register when I am there, so inevitably, I have to go through self checkout, which is one of the most painful experiences I can imagine- especially if you buy a lot of produce and have to search for every item and weigh it. I wish that they would do something to remedy this issue. Today I got my grocery shopping done in probably 15 minutes and then spent probably 20 minutes at the freaking self checkout trying to enter all the codes while the manager sat there and smiled and watched me. It was so embarrassingly painful for me and such a huge waste of time, not to mention very difficult to balance bagging and sorting everything in that small space Maybe this is just a me problem, but there are still people who want to use the regular lane checkout. I love you Sprouts, but please get somebody to work a normal register for us millennials who don't want to use the self checkout, I'm literally begging you.

I didn't get a look at this bald-headed dairy worker's name tag, but he was HOLDING a Zebra. I asked him if he could look up butane for me, as I had spent 10 minutes walking up and down the aisle a previous associate told me to look in. Instead of going from InStock to Search on his Zebra, he instead said "I mean, I *COULD*," and then proceeded not to. He told me to go back down that aisle and said "you can look it up on your phone dude." I looked it up on my phone and found nothing, and so I left. Went to the Kroger I work at 10 minutes down the street, had the butane and was checking out within 1 minute. Just a heads up, if you asked ME at my store to find an item for you, believe it or not, I'll look it up to help you find it or even walk with the customer down the aisle! Novel concept, I know. Genuinely never shopping here again. I'll just shop at the store I work at even if it's out of the way, because we don't regard customers as annoyances over there, and instead understand they're the reason we're even wearing a uniform and on the sales floor to begin with.

Pushy people at the check out line acting like I was in there way - even though my transaction was not completed yet and I was trying to get my bags. And the in a rush young people fulfilling Amazon Orders for Prime or trying to stock the shelves - I can't tell you how many times I have been treated as is I was an impediment to what they are trying to do even though I am a paying customer trying to navigate my way through the store. it gets to me sometimes. There are too many people trying to shop in this store for the size of it. Too many people "In a Rush" to get on with their lives. I do feel like I am back up in the North East sometimes when I go there. The best times to shop are during Tennessee Game Days or on a Tuesday night of all things. I go there because they do have things that other markets in the area do not have - fruits, vegetables, organic products. I do like the fish market guys. I do like certain cashiers and try to always go to them. I do like being able to find certain products there that I cannot find anywhere else - . I do like their supplements. There are things I do like. But the whole Prime thing (order fufillment) has put a huge black mark by the shopping experience. They really need to train their restocking people to be mindful of the customers and to be a little nicer while they do it. But between trying not to get run over in the parking lot when I am trying to get into the store and not getting run over while I am in the store by the oh so many busy people in there, it has gotten to where my stress levels goes straight up when I shop there. What I will do is try to go during off hours, and I do try to do that. But this is a pattern. My opinion is that for the amount of customers they have and the amount of order fufilment they do - the store probably needs to be twice as big as it is. I gave them three stars - but like I said - it is always a stressful experience for me.
