I got this bestie, you see. She swears by this place. Well, not THIS specific location. But the one in Derry, where we're both from. Anyway, I believe she assumes all Aldis are basically the same. Because I only happened to be in here after she told me about a $10 special for whole lobster meat. Well...I didn't find the lobster. I DID, however, find some very nice tiger prawns which pair up brilliantly with my scampi recipe. But, I digress. Here's what everyone wants to know. It's a store, though not quite as cheap as my bestie claims. I mean...it depends on what you're getting, I guess. It's not expensive, but not really any much cheaper than Market Basket. Also, the selection here is pretty limited, if you ask me. But since I come here for very specific ingredients, it doesn't really bother me much. I already shop at 4 different stores to get all the things I want as it is. They have contactless payment options. Always a plus for me. I only wish they would open more lanes. They have like...4 or 5 (I forget), yet they only open 1 or 2...even when the store is pretty busy. One more thing for those who don't already know: they use the bag-less system at checkout. Sooo...a bit like Sam's Club, only not as good. They have this separate immobilized cart at each checkout register they temporarily put your items in. I...just don't get it. I dunno. Maybe my bestie talked this place up a little too much. I was expecting more. They're fine, for the most part. But I couldn't recommend this place to anyone as their main grocery store. I was impressed by the vast selection ALDI's offered. I found everything I needed and items I had forgotten about. The huge store was busy but not crowded, very clean, well-stocked, well-organized, and well-staffed. I wish they were closer to Bangor. read more

I thought I would try out something new. This is an odd store. Not a single frill to be found. However the prices are really great on their name brands which are exactly the same as more expensive brands. It is a fun store to go through. They are not great in my opinion if you need to buy a full cart worth of groceries but that mid month trip where you just need to pick up a "few" things is perfect here. Bring a quarter or you will not be able to use a cart and bring your own bags or you will be buying them. (Check out is like IKEA). Most of the prices and the quality of most items is outstanding. For a change, I have no issue with prices. My issue is that at checkout they put your groceries in a new cart. After I have cleaned the cart I was using, I do not want to have to clean another cart before I can touch the handle just to wheel it to my car. Their corporate communication says that they do not do that! I'm disabled. It's hard for me to walk. I finally got to use the one electric cart this time. So great. Until I got to the checkout. They put my items in a new cart. When I complained, she said that she had washed the handles. OK. I'm sitting in an electric cart, so how am I supposed to wheel the other cart to my car? Did anyone offer to help me? No. Finally, I drove the electric cart to the side, and used the "new" regular cart to go to my car. Painfully. If you are in any way disabled, I do not recommend you go to Aldi. read more

I just tried the butter pecan ice cream - very good! It was only about 2.25 for 1.5 quarts. I also love you can buy a huge box of corn flakes or rice crispies for about 1.49. Rice or corn chex are very cheap too. Of course they are aldi brand but they are indistinguishable from the name brand in my opinion. Some things I buy a lot of here are cream cheese, sour cream, crackers, cookies (the kitchen sink ones are to die for), avacados, blueberries, spinach, broccoli, their brand of sriracha (which I like better than the original), mayonnaise, bbq sauce (excellent!), flour, rice, chips. It's like 1.29 for these small organic coconut water - it's so good. They have canned chipotle peppers for 99 cents vs hannafords 2.79! 99 cent large flour tortillas. Their smoked cheeses are excellent. Sometimes you can get really good deals on produce. The prices fluctuate a lot. Stay away from all of the soups. I never liked any of them. The russet potatoes aren't washed and even after you wash them they still smell like dirt. I just buy potatoes elsewhere. I tried the cheese balls once and they were nasty. So you really can't go wrong. Their organic items are much cheaper than anywhere else! Even the protein bars are good quality! You really can't go wrong with the quality/price ratio here! read more

Aldi-grocery- store in Nashua is super clean and organized. The staff is friendly and helpful. The assortment of food is constantly being expanded and what makes me especially happy, there are German weeks in which food from Germany is offered. Especially Christmas. You can save a lot of money. What bothers me is, coupons get shipped out only in the stores neighborhood. Friends or colleagues of me get coupons all the time, while I, who lives in Milford, do not get any. You can see the weekly offers online, but can not print coupons. No coupons available if you don't life in walking distends. even if you ask at the store. I have asked several times (customer service online), but apart from friendly phrases nothing came back. read more

I love this place. I hope it stays there forever. My sister mentioned that I should try Aldi's I am so happy that I did. I used to go to MB, but switched to this place. The meats are better quality in our opinion especially the boneless chicken. My grocery bill now is barely over $100/wk for a family of 5 and I cook 6 out of 7 days a week. It all depends if I stock up on meats a little. Also we go through 4 gallons of milk a week so $1.49 a gallon is a great deal! The staff is very friendly. I do not mind bagging my own items and making sure to bring the cart back to get my quarter back. Its well worth it. read more

The meats here are amazing compared to Market Basket. The fruit and veggies rival MB for quality and beat them on price. What vost me $78 last week at Aldi's would have cost me easily $125 at MB. They do not have a lot of brand names however most of there own brands are great. read more

Aldi has a very strong value offering. To start, you do need a quarter to get a cart but you get it back when you are finished with it, and it saves your car from scratches as any supermarket just can't keep up with the volume of carriages at times when it's busier than expected; it's not a problem here. You are then heavily rewarded by putting up with this small inconvenience by countless low prices around the store (that are even much lower than Market Basket) such as store brand Cheerios at $1.19 for 14 oz; natural wheat bread at $1.89 (any other store would charge $2.79-$3 regularly); and European Cukes for $.99 each every day or $.69 when on sale. read more

I've been to a couple Aldi's in the past and haven't always been impressed with the melé and the hassle of shopping there and somewhere else for groceries, but this new store is nice and clean, pretty spacious, and seems like it's organized well compared to other stores I've visited in the area. You can't go wrong with the prices And we bought a bunch of cereals that we buy at our neighborhood stores (MB or Hannafords, usually) and found them to be exactly the same. I think it's hilarious when people complain about lack of brand name foods there when you can get the staples (pasta, rice, flour, sugar, etc) that are essentially unchanged from the branded items, for so so much less. Anyway. Got a big cart of stuff for cheaps and I only wish they were right next door so I could buy my eggs and milk there, since I go through those so often at home. At Aldi? Half the price. Unreal. Worth the short drive just to stock up on the staples alone. read more

It's a small store but the prices are great. You'll either need your own bags, and a quarter for a cart, or you'll have to use one of the boxes they save. The Aldi Finds are nice, a good change of pace from their usual fare. A good portion of their store brand items are either organic or free of food coloring and junk like that. I don't understand the negative reviews here, do people not like to save money? I get the staples here; milk, bread, meat, rice, produce, etc. and have saved a ton of money. I rarely have to go to other stores to get something Aldi doesn't have, but you should know they do have a limited selection. Even though it's almost exclusively store brands, they do have great organic and 'fit/active'' options, like lb whole wheat spaghetti for 89¢ available every week. Milk gallon for $1.49, whole, 2%, skim, same price. A dozen eggs for 69¢! I spend an average of 25% less on groceries every week, my family isn't feeling deprived, I am a happy lady. read more

Worth the stop for staples...milk, bread, butter, eggs, cheese, etc. The produce is honestly hit or miss. I've had some stuff that turns in two days and some that lasts a week+. I usually get the cheapest fruits and it we dont go through them or they start turning faster than expected, they become freezer smoothie fruit. I have not tried the steak, but we do purchase chicken, brats, hamburger, sausage and turkey or pork roasts. You will save A LOT! For this reason, I always have spare quarters in my car and re-usable shopping bags in my trunk. In comparison to the Manchester or Salem store...this is far cleaner with more friendly employees. Somewhat limited selection, but phenomenal prices. We hardly shop at traditional grocery stores anymore. There are certain things we will still buy at supermarkets and warehouse clubs, but the bulk of our needs are met here. Meats are always exceptional. Dairy is always fresh, as is the produce. Boxed and pre-packaged foods are almost all at least as good as their national counterparts. There is usually only one register open, even so you will be surprised by the speedy checkout and courteous service. I also have no complaints about bagging problems because there are no baggers - customers bag their own items, which is fine with me if it means lower prices and everything gets home cold or intact. Be sure to bring a quarter for the cart, it is necessary to unlock your cart and you'll get it back when the cart is returned. I also should mention that the store appears to be immaculate - I have yet to find it dirty, dusty, or otherwise unkempt. read more
