This store is very convenient and keeps us from having to drive to gears rd or bellaire. It's a life saver. The employees are always helpful and checkout quick. Nice, quiet, clean store. Very pleasant shopping experience. MOST of the time I can get what I what I would need from other Asian stores. They always have the noodles and seasoning we need for pho. They sell the 30 pound bags of jasmine rice here. Nice to stock up on.

This was the only Asian market i could find closest to the woodlands. The first option that showed up in my search. Lots of parking available. The entrance was clean. My shopping experience was quick. I only needed gyoza wrappers, which were found in the back freezer area near the seafood. I observed the seafood - all of the fish was on ice allowing customers to bag and weigh items themselves. There were many gyoza wrappers brands available under $3 which is what I expected to pay. I also purchased chives. The produce section is small, but I found what I needed. The checkout line was long, with only cashier available. To pass the time I browsed the boba tea section and noodle aisle. Once the checkout line was shorter I jump into line. JUST A HEADS UP, there a $5 minimum charge on credit card purchases. I do plan to return, I discovered many items that would be useful in my kitchen.

Great place to get affordable foods. I love to get my produce here that American grocery stores dong have (mushrooms/ beans sprouts/ kimchi) as well as snacks and soup ingredients. The variety is great and the service is quick. The drink selection is also a bonus. I love the Assam Boxed tea for my quick caffeine intake.

Omg I don't have to make the drive to hmart!! Thank you so much for being open here. My hunt for Asian markets after moving here from nyc is not complete! It's not hmart but it's better than stocking up and making that far drive. I probably went a little crazy with my purchase but I was too excited. The prices are a tad higher than normal retail in hmart and Hong Kong supermarket etc but it's not ridiculously expensive. Besides that there's a huge selection on fresh greens and taro and Japanese sweet potato. Your common Asian snacks and ice cream. I took pictures upon entrance but got lazy. Basically it's a good alternative to making the drive to Chinatown for Asian groceries.

This is a small grocery with a Korean take on Asian grocery. They do not have the large selection you would see at something like H-Mart or Ranch 99. And their prices are a little bit steeper most likely due to the lack of quantity, once again compared to the big guys. BUT that is about the only downsides. They are also much closer and carry all the mostly required things you could want. There is also a small food stall inside with pretty dang good bibimbap (take out only). As of today (05/17/19) the food stall is closed Monday and Tuesday. I make the 12 mile drive which is worth it over 35 miles to H-Mart or Ranch 99. So visit this place, they have some good produce and meats, maybe not the variety you expect from a regular grocery, but that is part of the draw. Many types of noodles, ramen you can't get outside an asian grocery, fresh seafood. Give it a try, you will see.

This a small, yet cute little Asian market that carries many ingredients for your gourmet cuisine at home. They have a small freezer section, many non-perishables, and even some refrigerated produce. They may have your favorite Asian candy and I dig that they carry special pots, hats, and little items unique to Asian culture too. If you're familiar with 99 Ranch or Seafood City, this is like a small version of those stores. It's nothing fancy, and the checkout line can get long, but eh...where else are you gonna go? Beware there's an ultra stench near the entrance. I don't know if something is in those plants or what, but hurry up and get inside...and when you come out, hurry up and get to your car lol. It's no World Market, but it'll do.

They have the kit kats that everybody keeps talking about

I love this place! I was able to find what I was looking for without having to drive to Veterans Memorial to the Hong Kong market!

Ask the Community - Yun Loy Asian Market

    Is any sake sold here?

    Sorry, we don't sell alcohol.

    Do they sell fresh oysters?

    Do they sell Soursop? Guanabana?

Seasonally. I saw annona the other week.

Do they sell organic ceremonial matcha tea?

Doubt it. If they do, it would probably crop out bugs while advertising it was this year's crop. I'd pass them by and go into Houston. That was our experience shopping there.

Do they have bbq roast duck??? What days is it available?

    Thursday thru Sunday

Do they sell mochi? Red bean mochi?

    Yes, we sell mochi!

Do they have skin care items here?

Melissa, currently we only carry face masks.

    How big is this store?

Lou the store is small. It's about 2/3 rds the size of Trader Joes IMO. Since the owners only own this Asian grocery store they don't buy in volume so prices are a lil higher. Owners are very nice!
