I've been looking for something similar without any luck so I definitely got excited when I saw it. This was my third and last stop without any luck. The previous two locations just said they didn't have it and went about their business. When I asked at this location, the manager said she would go on the computer to see if she could find it. When she returned she said she researched December, January and all ads available to her. Then she reached out to other managers for help. Unfortunately she couldn't find the item but I truly appreciated her efforts in trying to locate the item for me. This is not my usual Aldi's but may have to rethink that. Also, while I waited, I had time to walk the store. It was clean and very well stocked. Everything looked fresh and appetizing. And just in case someone is wondering what the item was, I will post a picture just in case.

I love taking the Nordic Naturals D3 gummies but couldn't find the 5,000 IU except for here in-person. I have bad D deficiency so this was god send for me. Same with finding good low odor white chia seeds. I just wish they placed them near the grains and legumes instead of nuts and seeds. I had a hard time finding them when I visited the store. The deli/meat counter customer service was helpful and efficient. Produce department was organized and everything looked fresh and ripe. Looking forward to revisiting again in the future.

It began as I entered the store carrying two small packages destined to be returned to Amazon. Since I had never been in this store, I am from out of state, I was lost. A hurried Whole Foods employee with hardly a glance much less a 'good morning' (FYI for any Whole Foods management... this occured at 945am on August 27 ... and yes I will be going to their website to share this report because I am really unhappy!) basically demanded that I go to a door situated behind the registers ... no niceties just a brutal command as she rushed by (In NJ such an attitude might deserve a certain hand response because I felt like crap in this overpriced store!). The young woman in Amazon Returns pretty much pulled the boxes away from me. I said 'good morning' and I may have heard a grunt but her face said "screw you." I pointed out that the one box needed tape and she glared saying "I HEARD YOU!" I then asked for a receipt and it was almost as if she was baring her fangs as she spitted "you'll get them in your email within two weeks!" I am not sure if her speechless coworker gave a damn or concurred or was in shock but I felt worthless knowing I would never return!! I then walked briefly around the store ... no southern hospitality and prices 10-20% higher than neighboring stores plus it seems like the janitorial team hasn't cleaned the floors lately!! I hurried to my car which is where I am writing this because I didn't want to forget my furor at the total lack of customer care I just experienced!!

I was thrilled to see the TJ's sample station offering their graham cracker squares topped with their whipped carrot cake cream cheese! Uh, yes, please! I mean, who doesn't like a sample? Needless to say, I picked up a container of the whipped carrot cake cream cheese. Then, after moving away to continue shopping, I decided to turn right back around to grab another container! The nice young lady serving the samples smiled at me and told me she completely understood why I grabbed another container. Lol TJ's is always so clean and the staff is always so friendly at this location. I like finding new items every visit, and I picked up lots of sweet treats for the holiday. Big thanks to all the IG followers who post their Trader Joe's finds and their reviews of their favorites. My cashier, Melissa commented on the additional (3) reusable regional shopping bags I had in my cart. Hilltop had the bag for North Carolina! Yay! They are a standalone building, but is near to the Parkway Plaza Shopping Center, so they would be hard to miss. My most recent visit here was on April 5, 2026. I made an attempt to come in on the opening day in the afternoon, but there was no parking available, so I would wait until the following day to come in. It was still busy on March 13, 2026, but it wasn't as crazy as it was on opening day. The building looks big from the outside, but it isn't that much different from a regular grocery store. When I came in on the first visit, the place was pretty busy. There was staff helping everyone set up their accounts on their phone app. I had done it beforehand, so I didn't have to wait for that. I was speaking with one of the managers and found out this Virginia Beach location is also their regional hub. My mom was with me on this visit too, as she also wanted to see what it was all about. They do have a good amount of stables, and they have several items that are their own brand. There are brand name items and such, along with limited vegetable and fruit options. When looking at the stuff here, be sure to check the dates on them. Some of the items will be close to their use by date. They do have options for many different food types, but I am sure they could change from time to time. The feel overall for me so far has been that it's like Ollie's Bargain Outlet, but for grocery type items instead, while Ollie's has other stuff to choose from. They have a rewards program, so if you spend $150 or more or make at least three trips with a purchase, you can unlock their Wow! Insider program, which offers even more discounts for select items. It is valid for 30 days, but if you keep the pattern going, you can continue to be a Wow! Insider. On the most recent visit, my mom and I came in to get some items that they had on special. They had 93% lean ground beef for $3.99 per pound (each container was one pound) and dozen eggs on sale for $0.99. We did get a few other needed items, but it wasn't a large purchase that day. Overall, they are a good place to find your grocery stables. However, you will likely need to complement that trip to another place to get everything you may be looking for. They continually provide ads for what's on sale and available at that time. With it being a bargain market, don't expect to see everything you saw on a previous visit. Although they show what the savings could be compared to other stores, I did notice that they aren't completely correct. I'm guessing they were using national average cost data for such items. If you are looking to find some grocery items on the lower priced side, this place is worth checking out, but be sure to compare to their competitors too.

The parking seemed a bit tight, but only because of the opening day. I saw no debris. My wait was not long with an arrival around 11 AM. I probably exited around noon. I was not able to look them over as good as I hoped with long checkout lines and an afternoon appointment. The store was prepped for opening day. It was clean, organized and very well staffed. That for me is worth a bump in the review. The best sale item was the 93% beef for $5.99, limit 3. They also had a hard to find item. Wonderful cinnamon pistachios, I picked up a few. The store is billed as a big saving ms discounter. I found most items were comparable to other stores I shop. The sign that shows the competitor price difference is higher than I've seen locally. An example is Amy's Organic Soup. Grocery Outlet price $3.89, they had comparable prices above $5. Most store have Amy's around $4. I had positive interactions with staff and that also elevated my review. A manager at checkout went back to pull more beef to hit the limit. Checkout did take 20 minutes, or so but it went fast meeting customers in line. I will return when the lines settle down and shop them harder on prices. They are expanding with two new stores opening on the Southside soon. 3.5 rounding up.

She stopped what she was doing to take me to where they were. It was a good distance away. I asked another employee, Jess, for help finding Hard Cider. Same thing. Stopping what she was doing just to help me. Finally, the cashier Amanda, went above and beyond to put rubber bands around my cakes, double bagged the heavier groceries then used a Wegman's Card that would save me money. None of these ladies had to go the extra mile. But they did! Hats off to these ladies. I will be going back again!!

My husband wanted sausage pizza for his birthday, so I got him the large for just him. He loves it and has had it before. I also picked him up some sushi. I haven't been to Wegman's in a while and I noticed they have a large selection of gluten free items in their bakery! So for those of you who have friends and loved ones that require gluten free, i'm sure they would appreciate it.
