I love this aldi. It's clean and kept well. The produce is usually great, which isn't true for every Aldi. The workers are also very nice.

I would say some of my experience was odd as we came in without a reservation-it was nearly empty and the person who sat us made us wait while they made a reservation via open table. I thought that was odd. The waiter was nice but was not as attentive to our drinks and refills as I would have liked and I got thirsty. Other than that the all you can eat bar has a variety of foods for everyone. It has hot and cold options. You can eat as much different types of meat as they bring out. It is very well priced and feel very fancy if you want to celebrate a special occasion. I found it difficult to find parking because I was unsure which lot to use. It is at Mayfair and there are many lots, but I was unsure which lot was for the restaurant. You can park a lot of places so it may have just been me. Overall though it was a fun experience. Be sure to go hungry as it is a lot of food.

Unfortunately, our experience at Texas de Brazil Milwaukee was disappointing from start to finish…read more We were seated at a small round table that felt very cramped for our group. We asked if it would be possible to move to a larger table, but we were told no accommodations were available, which made the meal less comfortable from the beginning. The food itself was average at best. The selection of meats seemed limited compared to what we expected, and the portions being served were very small. There also didn't appear to be any consistent flow to the tableside service. Long stretches would pass before servers returned with additional meat options, making the experience feel disorganized. Thankfully, the salad bar and buffet area offered enough variety to keep everyone at our table satisfied. Another aspect that stood out was how scripted the service felt. Our waiter was polite, but every interaction seemed overly rehearsed rather than genuine. The dessert presentation was repeated twice as if we hadn't all been present the first time, which felt awkward and unnecessary. Overall, the food was underwhelming, the service lacked a personal touch, and the dining experience did not live up to our expectations. For the price, we expected much better quality and service. Unfortunately, this is not an establishment we plan to visit again.

Well shit, no wonder this place is nominated for a James Beard Award. I'm literally still thinking…read moreabout all the good food 24 hours later. It's actually shocking I've only just made it here because Ca'Lucchenzo has been on my to-go list for years. Lucky for me, my girlfriends planned a dinner to catch up and one of them chose this spot. Hot tip: make the reservation. Those go fassst! We went on the Tuesday night and it was full, with repeated table turnover. Delightful atmosphere. Very cozy, with warm tones, dimer lighting, and thoughtfully curated Italian'esque decor. Loved that there is a whole area where you can look onto the from-scratch pasta being made. However, that's over in the dining room and we actually sat on the bar side. There's maybe a dozen seats wrapped around their full-service bar, and then a small high-top tucked behind, where we sat. Our server, Malichai, new allllll of his stuff. When I tell you this menu is so clearly planned with immense detail, and changes pretty much daily, but this man knew every thing there was to know. We found that to be so helpful because as first timers it's hard to know what - and how many dishes - to choose. In the end, we landed on a handful of picks from the antipasti section, which we're all great shareable sizes. And then of course we needed pasta, so selected two of those to share as well. Can I recall what each dish was? No. Can I recall everything being extremely flavorful and enjoyable? Absolutely! From goat cheese and white asparagus, to creamy potato ravioli and the most insane/delicious focaccia of my life... we all noted how great every bite was. Oh and the drinks + dessert selection lived up to the hype too. I had a citrusy gin cocktail, and we finished with some sort of hazelnut chocolate cake. 10/10. Super duper excited to bring my husband here. He appreciates the craft of good food and boy that is what this place is alllll about.

Overall a decent experience, but unfortunately it didn't quite hit the mark that I'd like it to…read more First off the service was great: I went in as a solo diner and was seated quickly without fuss, although the spot where they sat me in was a bit small and along this wide countertop shared with other guests. That was fine ( I don't mind being near people) but the chairs were a bit too close and made me feel like I had to shrink myself and hold my arms in. The server was pleasant as well. Soft-spoken, polite man, which fit the overall relaxed but friendly atmosphere. The only thing I noticed was that he spoke in a bit of a rush, but it was a busy night so I'm more lenient. For food, I started off with the goat cheese crostone, which was fantastic. 5/5 warm, soft, fluffy bread with a great goat cheese and Calabrian honey spread that had both a nice complexity of flavors while not being too overpowering despite the sweetness of the honey and the savoryiness of the goat cheese. Everything balanced out wonderfully. Unfortunately, the main pasta dish I ordered, the Herb Maccaronara, was very bland and one dimensional, which was a shame because I was really looking forward to a bright and refreshing flavor considering how the restaurant seemed to pride itself in the localness of its vegetables. Whatever they used, it was blended and pureed with the sauce, and I couldn't really discern anything except for a faint earthiness. Not much pepper. Not much salt. I normally appreciate it when restaurants want to let the ingredients and naturalness speak for itself, yet I found myself regrettably disappointed by the combinations they chose for this dish, as it didn't highlight or elevated their respective elements. The maccaronara pasta itself was fine, a chewier version compared to other types, but would've benefitted from having something more crisp as an accompaniment to pair with the chewy texture. The dish did have peas in it but sadly it must've been softened by the sauce or noddles because it tasted mushy. Overall the main highlight was the sausage which added a brief touch of well-needed savoriness. The final dish I ordered was an affogato that came with chocolate ice cream and a shot of espresso. A nice cool way to end the meal, although I wish I'd the choice for vanilla instead. All this to say that I believe three stars is a fair scoring for my visit. I really would like to visit again, and Ca'Lucchenzo does rotate their menu often so perhaps their next batch will be better than the current one.

It's heavy on charm (nestled near the Tosa Village and bordered by lush green trees) and has all we're looking for in a farmers market. True, they don't have several venders selling, flowers, say. But, here are 2-3, which is plenty for me. There's usually options for various produce, flower venders, baked goods (usually a vegan baker as well), cheese, dip, meats, coffee, popcorn, etc. On our last trip, we got a gorgeous bouquet of peonies, king oyster mushrooms, a bag of greens, and two containers of greek almond dip (garlic and dill). We also discovered there was a new vendor there serving breakfast sandwiches. We had already eaten but are now already looking forward to next weekend to give them a try. They also usually have some sort of live entertainment to enjoy while you wander. A gem of a farmers market in the midst of a gem of a community. Get to it!

Date of visit: January 9, 2026…read more I had some time before my haircut a few doors down in this shopping center and while I normally do Metro Market, this grocery store was just more conveniently located and allowed me to park just once. The store definitely has a small town feel about it, and I don't think that's on accident. I really felt like this was a place where many of the staff is familiar with their regular customers and maybe that's why the cashier (Tana, I believe) wasn't particularly friendly, because she did not recognize me. I was able to score some Valentine's Day cards and also found a bar of clearance soap, so I was feeling pretty good about my purchases overall. If I was in this area again, I wouldn't be opposed to stopping here again to pick up some things.

Their veggie & fruit selection is top notch, with dedicated staff making sure the best selection is out. To the left of the entrance upon entering, there are great deals on meat and seafood to start you on your shopping journey. Their bakery goes above and beyond. Have a craving for a chocolate dessert? Pick up one of their Polar Bears and thank me later. P Love a good sale? Don't forget to check out the bins by the checkout lanes for some great sales on discontinued and/or holiday items.

Walking over to Whole Foods was a lot easier than risking my life crossing the street here! The store was bright and in good condition. Like most grocery stores, any employee I encountered was not concerned with me and went about their business. The pasta sauce I found was naturally more expensive than across the street at Meijer, but I liked that it was from a family brand instead of some giant conglomerate. The self-checkout line was pretty long so I went with a cashier and she was more pleasant than your average Kroger employee, so I'll call that a win.
