This Aldo store has been in GSP for ages. It's big and spacious, one side has men's shoes and the women's on the other side. Plenty of seats available for trying out shoes. The inventory is excellent at this store, pretty they have all the styles from their website. The newer styles are displayed in front of the store. Other than shoes they also have accessories like bags, wallets and some jewelry. They also have online order pickup and return services available too. The prices of shoes match with website prices. They also offer similar discounts as the website too. The store also has a sale section where they put up the low stock inventory at a big discount. Multiple staff members are available at the store at all times, some help with products and some with checkouts. We always had friendly interactions with them. read more

This store is disgusting. The shoes are for pole dancers. Absolutely not 1 shoe is a classy style. Extremely overpriced for garbage shoes.

I went to Woodbridge to get a pair of shoes but they were sold out. They advise Paramus has my size available so after calling numerous times with no answer I finally spoke with Kenny on a Saturday and asked him to hold a pair of shoes for me. Later that day when I went to pick up the shoes they no longer had my size. My size was also sold out online so I couldn't even order them. They gave the shoes away. I spoke with the manager a few days later (I don't remember her name) and her explanation was its so busy here so someone probably just sold them not realizing it was being held for someone. And she also said well what do you want me to do? Obviously there's nothing you can do but possible train your employees to do their job. She said she'll tell her district manager (which I'm pretty sure she didn't) but as a manger you should be professional and apologetic when your store/employees were in the wrong. I drove over 40 minutes for no reason and I didn't even receive an apology. I constantly shop in Aldo but I will NEVER go back to this Aldo as the staff is very unprofessional and rude! i've shopped at aldo multiple times and i've always been happy with my purchase. i came to this aldo store on a friday. a female associate helped me. my shoe size is 6.5 and when i tried on the shoes, they were a bit snug. i told her this and asked for a 7. she tells me that she doesn't have a 7, only a 7.5 and that the shoes would stretch. i trust her and purchase them. i wore them around my home for 3 hours and they never stretched. they were creating a welt into my skin. so i packed them up and decided to exchange them for a 7 because i really wanted these shoes! i went yesterday for the exchange and explained to the cashier that they didn't stretch and i would like a 7. she proceeds to tell me THEY DO NOT COME IN A 7, ONLY 7.5 and asks me if i'd like to try and of course i would! and so i did, and they fit, and it was perfect. long story short, if the associate would have EXPLAINED that the shoes only come in certain sizes then this wouldn't have happened cause i would have gone for the 7.5 also, suede doesn't stretch. i'll remember this now! lesson learned! read more

The manager of this shop is really unpleasant. When I talk to her, she kept singing with music in her ears. She wasn't answering my questions but was joking with her colleague, as I was not there. 2 days after, i came back because I wanted to return shoes and she refused, saying I already wore them, which was not the case of course. WARNING DO NOT BUY GIFTS HERE! The manager (Cassie) is an unprofessional, dishonest, rude thief. I've visited this location many times, after today I refuse to go back due to her gross incompetence. I went to return shoes my mother did not fit or like with the receipt. The manager said since my mother put the shoes on they could not be returned. How else can you see if a shoe fits or if you like them without putting them on? Cassie said I could use the credit immediately towards anything else in the store but refused to give me a gift certificate for my mother stating it was not possible. I paid about $60 for the shoes, she told me I could use $45 towards the store merchandise. I honestly was not in the mood to shop at the store after that happened. I mean she tried to steal $15 dollars from me which is really low and abhorrent. While I was talking to her to figure out options she starts talking to another customer to ignore me. I was really upset by her actions and went to leave the store when a lady came to me and said she was the district manager. She told Cassie to put my full balance on a gift card (which shows that it was possible and she was lying) and Cassie asked the district manager three times if she was sure, questioning her judgement and authority in front of customers which just shows you how nasty and unprofessional she is. To make matters worse she walked away to help other customers that weren't asking for her help because she immaturely did not want to help me. So the young lady that she left me with kept on having to call her for help with the transaction and she kept on leaving and would not see the transaction through because of her unsophisticated attitude. Cassie's ineptness to customer service and lack of vision for seeing me as the returning customer I am is the reason why I was considering never shopping in any Aldo store again. The district managers intervention allowed me to feel comfortable returning to the Aldo brand simply because she listened to me and tried to help me. However, I will never return to that store as long as it employs someone who does not deserve a management title. read more

I went to return a pair of shoes I received in the mail on August 2nd, and was told that I could not return them but had to exchange them, due to the fact that the actual purchase date was over 60 days. I don't think it's fair that they count the shipping time against the return time, but fine - that's the policy so I asked if I could exchange it instead. They said yes, so I found a pair of shoes that was $24.98 (to put against my credit of $26.25). I told them I didn't want the $1.27 difference, and that they could keep it. The sales associate told me that I MUST purchase something to cover the difference. I repeatedly told him I didn't want the difference, but he said I could find something around $2 in the accessories section. The cheapest item I found was $10 - and when I asked the sales associate he just shrugged and said "sorry, that's the policy". Obviously, there was no $2 item, and he had just said that to get a measly $9 extra on his sale. So I spent an extra $9 on something I DID NOT WANT. I will never be shopping here again, nor will I be recommending anyone to come here. read more

This is about the accesories store, not the shoe. The energy of the staff was great but really annoying. Wouldn't leave us for more than a couple minutes before someone else came and asked us if we needed help. I would understand if it was a large store but it is literally the size of a large bathroom. At a certain point the customer just needs some time to browse. Cashier asked who helped us out. I have no idea who helped me...I guess pretty much everyone. Didn't really get names either so very awkard to look around and point someone out. Seems staff gets sales credit perhaps that is why they are all jumping on every customer. Then heard who seemed like manager critique a staff member for not greeting. Seems they had enough people greeting. Have no idea why they have 7-8 workers in a tiny place like that. The manager at this store is pompous and just plain dumb. He doesn't understand customer service at all. I will never go to that store ever. The return and adjustment policy is not clearly displayed and you have to have the original receipt and the item to get a price adjustment.
