This bar is located in the Jurassic Park area of the park and offers frozen cocktails, beer, wine, and there is also a Coke Free Style machine close by. The best part about this bar is that it offers my favorite theme park beer... the Isla Nublar IPA! It's only located at a few spots in IOA and this is one of the best places to get one. This is just a bar located in Island of Adventure at Universal Orlando. It is directly between Jurassic Park area and the bridge to the Harry Potter area. It can be hidden since it is just a bar. It is very small, with a few high-top tables around. There is also a coke freestyle machine, so it tends to be very congested and busy here. Keep your eye open for it. This is not our favorite place. The do have beer and liquor. They seem to have an almost fully stocked bar, with a pretty decent selection. They also offer specialty cocktails. We like to try the specialty drinks since they are unique to the location, but they are just not the best. First and probably my biggest issue is the price. These cocktails are over $19 per drink, not very large and full of ice. We did not realize that every specialty drink comes in a plastic reusable cup. We ordered two different drinks and when he was making them, I didnt want the cup, our bartender said all the drinks come in the cups but if we brought it back we would save $5. This is a huge issue for me, no one else in the park am I forced to buy the cup. And the cup is plastic and will more than likely melt in the dishwasher. I also don't want to carry this cup around to be able to only refill AT THIS LOCATION for $5 off each time I visit, especially when I am already carrying Universal's refillable mug for water and soda. My other issue is the size of the drink. They were not very large and completely full of ice. I just did not see a good value in them. We saw him making the drinks and it was probably equivalent to a shot to shot and a half of liquor. My last issue is the actual drink flavors. Every single specialty drink was fruit and sweet and most of them were topped with soda. My husband does not drink soda, so it was very hard for him to pick one. I decided to get the Dino Roar, which was cherry vodka, triple sec, sour, sprite and cranberry juice. My husband went with what seemed like the least sweet- Cape Guayaba, which had new Amsterdam vodka, guava nectar, lime juice and agave nectar. I thought they both were ok but honestly, they tasted like a glass of fruit juice. For $40 plus tip, I was highly disappointed and I'm not sure how much I would ever want to come back. They were ok, but if I didn't have to buy the glass, I would actually add an additional shot to make it a little stronger. All in all, this spot is ok. If you want a fruity cocktail this is your stop. I see a lot of positive reviews so maybe we had an off day or off bartender, but it was just ok. Don't make me buy a glass, charge me extra for it and not even make a strong drink. We should have the option for the glass and if you just want the standard plastic Universal glass, have that. I would check it out, you may like it, we just did not. read more

The watering hole is my favorite stop at universal Orlando. The strong island gets Carren going! The bartenders are so fun and sweet and make fantastic drinks! This place was a nice surprise when we were in Orlando. We had good service and I asked to mix 2 of the frozen drinks to switch it up, and my bartender happily obliged. Also, they were free pouring the liquor so I definitely got my money's worth. I wobbled a little after finishing. Not that the frozen drinks are NA and they add the liquor. They do not have Hot Dogs as listed on the Universal App. They do have Beer in cans, on tap and lots of different adult, wink, wink, nudge , nudge , full of alcohol frozen drinks. Plus nachos and wings - but who cares about that when there's beer. Some shaded seating, a couple of fans and two Coke Freestyle machines. It used to be they would only sell canned beer but now there are plenty of sites with taps - even a bar inside Three Broomsticks! read more

I love this little stop (end of Jurassic before Harry Potter). The main reason is the bartender that's there every time I go (usually Sunday). I don't remember his name, but he's the nicest guy - tries very hard to make a connection and provide awesome service. There are a couple of fruity mixed drinks and some beer available. The food isn't the best as far as choices, but the wings are not the worst wings I've had. The kids like this spot because of the ducks and squirrels that leave nearby and are not afraid to walk up to the tables and say hello. read more

For adulrs: I walked up and said I heard good reviews of the Predator. Bartender steered me to their rum runner and mai tai sayibg it was better and stronger. I went with the mai tai.. i was not disappointed. Grab one of these and enjoy the AC inside jurassic center. It sneaks up on you so drink wisely.
