In a pinch, this place will do. It's not the best place that made me go Wow, but the food here is definately not the worst I've had. It's a small place a couple of blocks east of Hwy 95, so it's easy to get to if you are travelling through. I would save your money on the Margarita. They don't have a 'bar', so I am pretty sure it's a premixed drink for $4.

Can't find places like this too often!

Had 3 vegetarian dishes and 1 meat dish; all delectable. Service was fast, but non-invasive. Would recommend.

Puerto Rican approved ‼…read more This place is genuinely the best Mexican food I have had in a long while. Portions are average sized, but very cheap. We ate lunch here for 15$ total. Guacamole and all meat was fresh. We tried the tacos with carne asada, pork, and birria options. All very tasty. The jalapeño tacos were a standout. The jalapeños were actually not very spicy, despite having the seeds still in them. This was nice because you could actually taste the sweet flavor of the jalepenos. Please don't judge the storefront by its cover. It's a small, simple place, but the food more than makes up for it. The place was under some interior construction, but they were still open and service was great.

One block off the main thoroughfare, this restaurant is located next door to The Dog Spa. It's a small place but don't let that stop you from giving it a try. They used to operate out of a food truck in another part of Homedale and have migrated to having their first permanent location. I believe we were told they moved in here in October of 2022. It is a place that has a meat counter for Mexican delicacies, but there are about 6-7 tables where you can dine in and enjoy some great tasting food. My wife and I both ordered the Pollo Asado plate along with a side of guacamole and some fried jalapeños. I can honestly say that everything was prepared very well and have great flavor. The chicken was seasoned perfectly and the guacamole was obviously made fresh. That, in itself, was a bonus. No mass produced guacamole! The rice and beans were a perfect portion size for the meal, and the three tortillas were soft and warm. We both left satisfied and not over stuffed! There is a small area where they sell tortillas and Mexican spices. This is good to know since we like to make our own Mexican style sauces at home. We love supporting small business whenever we can. Next trip we're gonna have to try the Jalapeño taco. They made them sound very tempting while we were eating our meal!
