Nice place to eat. Good atmosphere and service was fairly prompt. #47 (shrimp and steak) with rice beans and all the fixings. Margaritas are weak on the tequila so it's like a virgin.

I'll start with service, we were greeted by a very pleasant and accommodating server. The place is cozy. Food, was ok. Not bad but wasn't great so nothing to write home about. I had the mix fajitas with chicken, beef and shrimp. It was ok. My hubby had chimichanga and he said it wasn't bad but had a weird taste.

Just pass'n through from Boise to San Jose. Saw the great reviews so opted to stop for lunch before enduring the grueling four hour drive to Winnemucca. Once inside I spotted a local eating soup. Considering it was sunday, I assumed it was menudo. Nope is was a SEE-FOOD soup. It was fabulous. Staff great, price low, all adding up and deserving of 4 stars maybe 5

Tasty food, no third-world dinginess. Ample portions and very fair pricing. Pleasant attitude. Near hospital cleanliness in the men's room.

I don't know what that bright neon green sauce is but that is not Mexican at all. Ok taste. Nothing that stands out.

Nice big screen to see what they offer on the menu. During the week days they have taco, burrito and bowl specials. They have a large seating area after you order. If you have take out to wait for your food at counter. If you have dine in they will bring to your table. Not too sure about cross contamination due to the food being set up like chipotle and subway. So I guess there is some with the toppings. The one o would be worried about is seafood allergy. I was not able to get a picture but you might want to make sure they done fry fish and shrimp in the same basket as fries and taquitos. Co-worker ordered nachos and one got enchiladas. Both of them had elements that were microwaved to make warm. The nachos were microwaved to melt the cheese and the enchiladas the green sauce was placed in a plastic bowl microwaved then poured over enchiladas. I don't like when places have to use microwaves but they have 3 of them I say. I had the taquitos. I must admit, the flavor was good. Fried just right. Not a fan of green salsa so an option would have been nice. They only brought green out with my dinner.

What a cute place to find in the sleepy Saturday night town of Payette!…read more Downtown Payette is what Caldwell once looked like before investors went in and built more businesses. The streets are dark and very few places are open and that makes me sad because this could be such an adorable old town downtown vibe for locals! So don't miss this restaurant towards the end of Main Street and then hop across the street to Hammer Time for family fun with axe throwing! El Kamaron has done a great job with their interior decor, seating layout, has a full bar, and an extensive menu that includes quite a bit of seafood options! It's the Torres Mariscos that sold me on trying this place and it didn't disappoint! This is a menu item that you'd see regularly in a beach town in Mexico like in Nayarit, MX! It was loaded with shrimp, octopus, and crab. I was so excited to just eat the meats that I didn't even want crackers or chips. Just let me feast on the meats with the avocado, cucumber, onion and tomato and I'm in heaven! I'll be back for this item alone! I also ordered a holiday specialty drink called the cranberry Paloma and I loved it. It was beautifully presented with a dehydrated orange slice and floating cranberries with a Chamoy and Tajin rim. I tossed my straw to the side so I could enjoy each sip with the rim! The staff ate so lovely and friendly with smiles and always ask how you're doing and if you need anything! You order at the table but pay at the bar counter closest to the door. There were two birthday celebrations going on and each birthday baby (adults in their 60's) received a cute colorful shot in a champagne flute and the entire restaurant sang to them. It was an enjoyable experience!

You see a lot of…read moreSpanish-speaking folk in here dining, which is always a good sign for authenticity, but at the same time I know that turns some of the locals off because the style is slightly different than the Americanized version of this same food they are used to eating. It's their loss I say because we love this place. Value for the money is pretty outstanding, but some folks say they've been downsizing the portions lately, so I'll have to check that out for myself. The atmosphere is very much the utilitarian, hole-in-the-wall style eatery, but it's always consistent and delicious and their long hours make it a favorite of the post-bar crawl crowd who know it's here. That being said, given its location, if you didn't go looking for this place, you would probably never find it, since it's a little off the beaten tracks (literally) near where the railroad crosses by some of Caldwell's industrial businesses. The format as one could guess is fast-casual, so definitely a destination you go to more for the food than the dining atmosphere. That being said, they keep the place clean and in good shape, but some of the chairs are a little uncomfortable.
