Nice place to eat. Good atmosphere and service was fairly prompt. #47 (shrimp and steak) with rice beans and all the fixings. Margaritas are weak on the tequila so it's like a virgin.

I'll start with service, we were greeted by a very pleasant and accommodating server. The place is cozy. Food, was ok. Not bad but wasn't great so nothing to write home about. I had the mix fajitas with chicken, beef and shrimp. It was ok. My hubby had chimichanga and he said it wasn't bad but had a weird taste.

Just pass'n through from Boise to San Jose. Saw the great reviews so opted to stop for lunch before enduring the grueling four hour drive to Winnemucca. Once inside I spotted a local eating soup. Considering it was sunday, I assumed it was menudo. Nope is was a SEE-FOOD soup. It was fabulous. Staff great, price low, all adding up and deserving of 4 stars maybe 5

Tasty food, no third-world dinginess. Ample portions and very fair pricing. Pleasant attitude. Near hospital cleanliness in the men's room.

I don't know what that bright neon green sauce is but that is not Mexican at all. Ok taste. Nothing that stands out.

What a cute place to find in the sleepy Saturday night town of Payette!…read more Downtown Payette is what Caldwell once looked like before investors went in and built more businesses. The streets are dark and very few places are open and that makes me sad because this could be such an adorable old town downtown vibe for locals! So don't miss this restaurant towards the end of Main Street and then hop across the street to Hammer Time for family fun with axe throwing! El Kamaron has done a great job with their interior decor, seating layout, has a full bar, and an extensive menu that includes quite a bit of seafood options! It's the Torres Mariscos that sold me on trying this place and it didn't disappoint! This is a menu item that you'd see regularly in a beach town in Mexico like in Nayarit, MX! It was loaded with shrimp, octopus, and crab. I was so excited to just eat the meats that I didn't even want crackers or chips. Just let me feast on the meats with the avocado, cucumber, onion and tomato and I'm in heaven! I'll be back for this item alone! I also ordered a holiday specialty drink called the cranberry Paloma and I loved it. It was beautifully presented with a dehydrated orange slice and floating cranberries with a Chamoy and Tajin rim. I tossed my straw to the side so I could enjoy each sip with the rim! The staff ate so lovely and friendly with smiles and always ask how you're doing and if you need anything! You order at the table but pay at the bar counter closest to the door. There were two birthday celebrations going on and each birthday baby (adults in their 60's) received a cute colorful shot in a champagne flute and the entire restaurant sang to them. It was an enjoyable experience!

I was told "of course, we are open until 9:00. We received great service, tasty fresh cooked food and never was made to feel rushed to get finished. They know how to run a restaurant! We've been here dozens of times, always good, but not last night…read more I ordered the Carnitas with Mole, I've had the regular carnitas many times so I figured adding mole would just make them better. What I got was a lump of overcooked, dry, unsliced, unseasoned pork roast with the mole poured over at the table. I spent the first five minutes just trying ti cut and tear the pork baseball apart and stirring it in the mole. I kept picturing Chef Ramsey taking a bite, spitting it back on the plate and flagging down the waiter,. "This is disgusting!" You know meat is dry when you must drink something because it keeps getting stuck on the way down! What I should have received was seasoned carnitas that spent at least some time with the sauce in the pan. I had to stop it was so bad! If it hadn't bern Valentines Day weekend, and if we hadn't already waited an hour to eat because it was busy, I'd have asked the waiter for something else. When the waiter came to check and asked, I was honest, he apologized and offered to have them prepare something else, but by this point I was just ready to leave. The Manager came, apologized and took my dinner off the bill, the right thing to do. We used to live in Kuna, but now it's at least an hour drive round trip, so I doubt we'll be back. Maybe if we are meeting friends/family in Kuna, but just us, I don't think so. Time to find good Mexican closer to downtown Boise!
