The salmon was tender, the prime rib at the carving station was delicious, the waffle station has great accompaniments, the bread and cheeses were delicious, the shrimps were humongous, the mussels were so good. Even the desserts were very tasty despite it being a relatively small selection for a buffet. Food was great, service was quite spotty though as they were busy and our server keeps forgetting about us. Value is okay, I mean everything is good but it is quite pricey so you're paying for being able to sample lots of variety but unless you focus your efforts on the seafood only, you're probably not getting good value here. Rather than offering to cook the chicken properly, replace the meal, provide an alternative, or at the very least remove it from the bill, we felt as though we were being interrogated as if we had made the issue up. We were told they had never received a complaint about their chicken before. That may very well be true, and perhaps ours was the first undercooked chicken they served. However, that does not change the fact that we were charged full price for meals we could not eat. What disappointed us most was not simply the undercooked chicken, but the complete lack of customer service in addressing the problem. Mistakes can happen in any restaurant; how those mistakes are handled is what leaves a lasting impression. Unfortunately, this experience left us feeling dismissed and undervalued as customers.
