She has an artist's eye, because the suite was beautifully decorated as well as impeccably clean. She let us into the suite after a just a quick card tap and no paperwork to fill out. A note inside the suite asked us to simply leave the key in the place as we left. So easy. The suite includes one queen bed and a sleeper sofa, plus a kitchenette with two kinds of coffee makers and some coffee grounds available, plus all needed dishes. Even scissors to help open packages. Eileen thought of everything. My relative loved the extra shelf in the bathroom to set down her shower things, so unlike other hotels. The parking area was spacious. And even though there were residents in the other suite, we never heard them talking or any electronic device in the background, so the walls are thick. In addition, the Stardust is near to several restaurants, even within walking distance. Will definitely stay there again if we come to Floodwood.

We get up & the gal says, "did you catch all that or do you want it repeated?" We say we're good & she says most important thing is breakfast is at 6a - no waters for us. #4, took her back to interaction style of #1. It could be inconsistent or efficient, depending on how you look at it. (Had we asked for water, they no doubt would have given it. We had our own & it was perfectly visible at check-in.) The showers and excellent water pressure and the bath and body works products were perfect for returning to human form post camping trip. They even provide rags for any extra dirty clean up which I know is to dissuade guests from using the towels for this, but it is still a nice touch. There was no extra charge for the wifi, and it was extremely fast! I was even able to upload all the pictures from the trip in a very short amount of time. Usually on hotel wifi this is an overnight process. The included breakfast was great! The omelettes were tasty, and the make your own pancakes machine was fabulous! I do want one of those for my house...push button.. machine makes pancake! This is a great place to revive after a wilderness adventure!

This Inn sparkles with cleanliness! I notice details like baseboards, corners and shelves. Each railcar is decorated in a different theme. We stayed in the newly appointed Lighthouse Room. The lamps were shaped like lighthouses, the room was tastefully decorated with Lighthouse pictures and memorabilia, and the hallway that connects each railcar was built reminiscent of a rail yard and train station. When I called to make the reservation. I actually spoke with one of the owners. Cindy. She was personable and friendly. She is the epitome of a fantastic bed& breakfast-type Innkeeper. We met her at the Inn and she was funny and very welcoming. The food was good. They had your typical fare offered at most hotels. The only reason they didn't get a 5 star rating from me is I feel like they could develop a "trademark item" with their breakfast to go with the theme as well.
