Horrible customer service. Scheduled a visit to service our wine room a week in advance. Was given a 10:00-1:00 time window. The day of the scheduled visit, at 1:30 I called and left a voicemail after hearing nothing. At 2:00 had to call again and spoke to desk who said "tech is running late and will call when he is on the way to our house." Heard nothing the rest of the day nor did I get a call the following day to reschedule. This is despite me telling them that in addition to wine room service I was interested in having them service our three AC units. I'm now seeking another provider who actually wants and values my business. read more

Do not trust this company. Alessio told my parents that there cooling system was shot and needed to be replaced in their wine cellar and that it would cost $16,000. We contacted other companies that told us it could be repaired for under $1,000. The system has since been repaired for $695. read more

An HVAC person did some work in our house that was dangerous and not to code, leaving open ducts in the wall, using not heat-insulated tape, not separating ducts from flammables. We called Alessio Heating because of a referral from our contractor, and we were so glad he did. We paid only half of what we had paid and had everything taken out and redone. The previous guy did not want to explain what he was doing, but with Alessio it was different, and we got to see what the code is and what the problems were. Funny enough, our neighbors next door also had a problem with a (different) HVAC person who left ducts open in their walls.. I'm realizing now how many shennanigans there are in this business, since everything is hidden behind the dry walls. With Alessio, I felt I could trust the quality of the work because this was all shown to me; I would hesitate to hire anybody else but him if I need further hvac work. read more

Agree with the abrasive office staff. Scheduled an appt 1 week ahead of time to come and look st the broken AC and heating system thst they installed. Was given a 10am-1pm window to sit at my house and wait. I even asked if I could get a tighter window, be the first appt of the day etc, because I really hate playing the game of wait for the service provider that never shows......well, shocker. No call. No show. Shame on you Alessio, I will take my business elsewhere. How do service providers get away with the 3 hour window then no show? Super annoying. read more

Had them out 3 times in the last year. The problem is never corrected yet they slam us with a bill. They don't seem to care. Had them out 2 months ago to fix the fan that wasn't blowing- the same problem that didn't get fixed the other two times. Now the fan works fine but no cool air. Prior to this the air was cool. Also the gal who answers the phone is very rude every time you call. She gets very short with you and I'm pretty nice when I call so I know she's not being short and rude because of my attitude. In my industry I refer service people and companies on a weekly basis to clients and this is a company I will NEVER refer. read more

Not only did the polite and friendly technician fix our furnace quickly, he stayed to check that it worked as we turned it off and on again. Most significantly, despite the fact that we had said we needed a new furnace, he insisted it could be fixed instead. So, the cost was less than $300; we had expected to pay $3,000 for a new furnace. I'm impressed and grateful. Also, everyone I dealt with at the company was friendly and responsible. read more

I suspect the problem is a combination of "old school" mentality that a low price is what counts and that contractors are more important than the homeowner. Also there seems to be a healthy dose of the left hand not knowing what the right hand has already done. Here are the details: they Installed my heating system years ago in connection with my remodel and seemed great. A year ago I asked them to add another component to my system. They scheduled me for a date two weeks out and cancelled the day before the work was to be done, giving no explanation. It took a week for them to call and reschedule and another week to come out. I asked again if there were some kind of emergency and I didn't get a straight answer. My impression was that a bigger job came up. Needless to say I had questions about their customer service but was thinking that perhaps it involved different departments. It seemed crazy to blow off an established customer like that. A year later I asked them to service the system. Again, they were busy and again there was a delay. When they did come, avery nice service man explained that he wasn't aware the system had been changed (by his company) and would have to come back. The net time he arrived late, had lost the number of my assistant (who had been waiting), and called me out of state; requiring an even further visit. Now we are hoping he will be able to make it tomorrow. read more

I called the Escondido office about 4 weeks ago to make an appointment for someone to come out to replace our Casitas mini split system. I spoke with a woman who made an appointment for me on 7/22 with a window between 3 & 5 pm. You guessed it ... Nobody showed AND nobody called. I then called their office around 5.15 but apparently it closes at 3.30 !!! I therefor called this morning and spoke with the original woman who told me that 'Freddy' had tried to call me but I hadn't picked up so he therefor didn't come !! WTF ? I asked why he wouldn't just come anyway as we had 'the window' and she barked back at me that that's not how it works (smokes 6 packs a day I think!) I checked my call record and had no missed calls, told her that and she proceeded with her lie that Freddie had even called her at 4.10pm to tell her that I hadn't picked up. Don't know how he managed that as the office closes at 3.30pm but perhaps she charges Allessio overtime for taking fictitious calls from the fictitious Freddy ? Anyway, I digress. She offered to have Freddy call me to see if he could make an appointment today and if not then perhaps Monday. I proceeded to thank her (I know, can you believe it ?) and as I was hanging up she muttered 'pick up your phone next time..' Of course 'Freddy' didn't call and so here I am, Gob smacked !! I would never give this company your business if you have a choice. Not with that 'person' answering the phones and fabricating stories. Don't do it unless you want to waste half of your day ! read more

Alessio has been servicing my AC units (4) for the last couple years. Yes sometimes when you call in the staff seems a little abrasive but I think that's more a personality thing. I've had numerous issues with my wine cellar until and they've always answered the call and fixed it with in hours to preserve my wine. Absolutely no issues at all with my units since they started servicing them! Highly recommend them if you're not very sensitive on the phone. :-) read more

Wayne from Alessia was just here to repair our AC unit. On one of the hottest days of the year he had to crawl into the attic to reconnect the air duct. He did not complain one bit and was so professional and polite. He did a complete check and made some adjustments to make sure the unit was in tip top shape. Abrasive front desk to say the least. Scheduled an appointment over a week ahead, stayed home Friday waiting. Got a call on my cell at 3:28 saying I had 15 minutes to call back or the appointment would be rescheduled. I did not see the call for 28 minutes. Called and got a recording that their hours were 8 to 3. On Monday asked if that was standard procedure, and the abrasive lady said, they were smaller than most people think. That's their procedure. Did not care that the customer waited for hours for a no show. She said "that's how we do it, have a nice day" and hung up. Can't imagine if you need after sale service. read more
