I have an old tile roof with sheet metal gutters on all sides. The gutters on one side were leaking. Alex Jr. educated me on the various gutter installation approaches, showed me samples of the material options, and clearly explained the pros and cons of each. I decided to stay with sheet metal gutters and only replace the gutters on the defective side. I appreciate that Alex didn't try to upsell me to replace all sides as others did. I felt that the Alex Gutter approach (removing 1st row of tiles, replacing the gutters, adding new roof paper, and then putting the tiles back) was the safest and most professional option for my tile roof. Can we just say that when a small partial side of the gutter in the front of the house was falling, I was just bummed to say it mildly. It not like you want to see your gutter hanging, even if its a small portion. So I called around and got some estimates. I'm having my house painted and the contractor noticed a gutter was not draining properly. It appears was not installed properly a few years ago when I had the roof replaced. Alex responded to my initial message within a few minutes, and came to evaluate my leaky roof and give me an estimate the next day. I accepted and he was able to start the work in about a week. 2 days later the work was done. The work consisted of removal and replacement of a 10 X 20' section of slightly sloped roof overhang, plus R&R of about 2 X 20' of the main roof to access part of the overhang. Also a new 20' gutter. The quality of the work was first rate, I was very impressed! I was in serious need of fixing the waterfall in the center of my back rain gutter and called a few places only to find out the appointment windows were too far out as in 4-6 weeks. I called Alex and was able to get same week quote. After reviewing the quote which seemed reasonable, I scheduled them to come clean and repair all my rain gutters. They showed up on time, Covid prepared and completed all the work as requested. While up on the roof, they noticed a large crack in one of my skylights.
