I used to come here years ago, and so did my mom. This place is great and Alex really is good at what he does. His prices are okay, but if your on a budget, go somewhere else. I had my hair colored by one of the ladies working there, I didnt really like the result. Alex told her to add highlights to lighten it but I didnt even want highlights, I wanted it to be colored and thats it. When I did my hair in 2015, i loved the color so thats why I went back in december. Wont be going back again, other than that, they are friendly and very welcoming. read more

Great experience, I had an appointment but had to wait a little. Alex is only hair cutter, so wait time depends. It was really quick haircut but results were lovely. The place does need some updating and fixing, seats were ripped and broken.. Even though I was a little bit scared of how much hair was falling down. Even though the staff is nice, they don't listen and make you wait forever, also very overpriced- go somewhere else!!

Alex and everyone working at the salon is pretty nice. The problem is that Alex does not really listen to what the customer wants. I took my child to Alex for a hair cut and told him that I wanted to keep the same type of style, but cleaned up. Instead of him listening, he kept pushing something else. He ended up changing the style completely! It will take probably six months (at least) for the hair to grow back out. The cut does not fit the personality of my child, which is what a good haircut does. Overall, the atmosphere is dirty. I definitely will not be back. frustrated! read more

I just got my eyebrows done today by the lady in Alex Hair Salon. She's the only one who does eyebrows there, and this is the second time I've went here. The first time she did an okay job. Today she Literally took HALF of my eyebrow off. Before I sat down I told her exactly what I wanted. Im very specific with my eyebrows and made it clear I just wanted a cleaning and to keep the length of my eyebrow. After she cut them I looked and she had made them very short, when I said I had asked her not to cut the length she replied " I made them perfect, they were to long anyway ". I find that VERY unprofessional on her part, but I stayed and let her finish. After she was done, I looked in the mirror and was completely shocked, this lady took the top half of my left eyebrow off and made a dip in my right. When I say dip I mean that she left the first part and then cut the part after It so my eyebrow looked like a squiggly line. I was very upset, hysterical crying, gave her money and left. This is THE WORST experience I have ever had. I suggest NEVER going here for eyebrows. read more

Excellent however was bewildered with the price change from one month to the next for the same job without any explanation why I was Ina hurry the place was getting crowded so I just hurried out of there without asking why the sudden change next time I will ask if there are changed on expenses I totally understand however the customer should be advised of that and should not be surprised with a different price from the previous time read more

WORST SALON!! The people are nice, yeah, but Alex does not listen to what you want! Going in wanting to cut off about 5 inches of my long hair, he tells me no.. what? He said I will regret cutting off a lot, but I WANTED a new hair do. Its not his business about how much I want off. He cut very little, barely noticeable. I was so pissed. He blow dried my hair for like 15 minutes probably to make up for the lack of effort. When called ahead, the price through the phone was 25 dollars. After the hair cut, it turned into 55! Because of the blow drying.... I NEVER ASKED FOR IT AND FOR CUTTING 1/2 AN INCH IT IS SO NOT WORTH IT! Been going to Alex for years. He greets his clients with a smile and friendly attitude. He's the only one I trust to cut my long hair. Other places in the past either cut too much or cut it unevenly. He has an amazing technique for cutting layers! Wait time is reasonable and if you are in a rush, Alex will make sure you get your hair done more quickly. read more

This place was TERRIBLE, it took them 4 hours to get my hair and make up done and they did my hair totally wrong!! I walked out in tears and ended up being late for my event because I didnt expect to spend 4 hours at the salon. Alex thinks he knows everything and wouldnt listen to what I was saying, I wanted a simple curly updo and when I was done (after asking them to redo it twice) my hair looked like a bee hive. Best part? They charged me almost $200!!! For an updo and make up, when I asked the price earlier on, Alex said "don't worry, I'll give you a good price" he refused to tell me the price then charged me twice what I was expecting to pay. While doing my hair he kept stopping to talk to people that walked in, totally unprofessional- very dissappointed and NEVER EVER going back there. If you go, make sure u find out the price and tell him exactly what you want, the minute he starts doing what he wants to do, speak up because he really doesnt listen. read more
