Not worth the trip. Staff acted like they were doing us a favor by waiting on us. Food was under cooked. Got sick that night.

Good beer selection and fun chill atmosphere. Interesting dichotomy between almost upscale bar downstairs and total towney upstairs.

Didn't have high expectations going in but man was I wrong food was phenomenal and the service was great. Never had an empty beer glass and they catered to my every beck and call. Great beer selection decent food choices. Il be back every chance I get. read more

Alexandria's is an upscale hangout and a place I would go for just drinks. Great atmosphere. Love the beer selection although I wish there were more beers for those who aren't too fond of the hoppier, bitter beers.

DUCK FAT. You HAVE GOT to eat at Alexandria's Micro Brewery. Beer selection is off the charts. 25 local and micro on tap. Unfuckingbelievably good food. Yes, it's a word. Alexandra's is a gastropub, so it's really bizarre combinations of VERY delicious things. I just had a burger made of locally grown grass fed beef, mixed with chipotle and cilantro, Gruyere cheese, ciabatta, lettuce, chipotle aioli (I think?), and a side of French fries seasoned with fresh rosemary, and fried in duck fat. Visiting the city for work and was told this place had great food. That was a lie. At least for what me and a coworker had ordered. The Chicken and burger were clearly frozen. We waited quite some time for our food and it's a belief that it was because we had to wait for our chicken and burger to thaw from whatever box they came in. Their hummus is believed to be home made. If that's the case they need to revise their recipe. BUT it is a phenomenal atmosphere!!! Besides the substantial selection of beer, the novelty of the themed burgers that USED to be on the menu was a huge attraction. They were really good. Now based on my last visit they are gone with the chef (at least that's what our server told us on his very brief appearance at our table). A miserable evening but perhaps I should have expected it. Previous visits to Alexandrias, I had suffered with inattentive servers. This last time took the cake with a very long wait for anyone to approach the table and then, when food was ordered, an interminably long wait for what turned out to be not very good overall. Really disappointed. At one point this was destined to be my 'go-to' place in Findlay. I cant stomach the thought of facing poor and inattentive service. The servers seemed to be having a pretty good time over by the cash register though. Wish I had an invite to that party. read more

Alexandria's has been in Findlay for awhile now and I heard good and bad reviews but always wanted to give it a try because I love some of their social media marketing- shuttles to UF games, upper deck specials, etc.- and the food did sound delicious. My husband and I went on a Friday night and walked right in with no wait but it was our first time there and with no hostess to greet or direct us, we just found a seat near the bar and waited uncertainly. The waitress made eye contact multiple times but never approached us. I finally went over to her and explained that I was sorry, we'd never been there before and were we in the right place to order dinner. She said yes and offered me two menus but didn't apologize or offer any explanation for our wait. I ordered the squeeze, husband ordered the Alexandria burger and both arrived barely warm and with French fry pieces (literally the tiniest fries I've ever seen) so over salted we couldn't eat them. I was so disappointed because I love supporting local business and really wanted to enjoy Alexandria's. Unfortunately I would not recommend it and more than likely won't return :( read more

Beer menu does not disappoint, nor does the food. Known for great hamburgers, the chicken wrap is delicious too. Many from my group ordered appetizers and all were easily able to be shared with all. Prompt friendly service makes this a spot to stop regularly when in town. read more

Food is not so good not worth it however the drinks get a three star. So if you just looking for a drink this would be an ok place however food is not that good. Got the mac and cheese and it was bland and the Smoked Chicken nachos and the chips where soggy. read more

We were in town for my sisters graduation. We had a reservation for 10 and confirmed with the person who took the call that this establishment was handicapped accessible (for my elderly grandmothers). We arrive at our reserved time and no one greats us for servers minutes. I went up to the bar and let one of the servers know that we had a reservation. He replied "all reservations are upstairs"...okay? Well this wasn't going to work considering neither of my grandmas can go up a flight of stairs...he proceeded to tell us that there was an elevator but they would have to go through the kitchen...okay? We eventually get upstairs to find the room set up similar to a banquet hall. Our server comes over and lets us know that only the buffet is available...the buffet consisted of sliders, wings and fries...all which looked as if it had been sitting out for hours. The buffet included pop too and was $15! Wow! After requesting to speak to the manager we were able to choose from the menu but we were never told when the reservation was made that they were only serving the buffet. The burgers were subpar. Nothing special at all...I was expecting to be wowed and I was far from it. I will not be back! read more

In fact I've been there several times and the service has never really been all that great. The crowd was a good mix of people but they didn't stay long. Definitely a neat atmosphere. The building is really funky and has such a unique feel. The drinks are consistently okay - but substantially overpriced. The food is generally good but often takes 40 minutes to an hour before it comes out. We went to go listen to a live band in the upstairs bar area, and it was pretty good. Nothing special, but a solid OK. Overall, not a bad place to go. read more

My husband and I came in Sunday January 15th at 6:00 during Green Bay/ Cowboys playoff football game and the night of Hopslam release. The beer list and menu looked good so we were excited to dine here. The bartender was unable to attend to us and other guests in a timely fashion (took well over 5 minutes just to be greeted, and we were sitting at the bar) as he was the only person here. Informed us food would take 30 minutes. We were ok with that and appreciated the heads up, but when we found out there was only one person in the kitchen after waiting an hour for our food (from the moment we ordered) which we still didn't get is ridiculous. Poor scheduling and management on your part. Coming from the industry, this is unacceptable. The burger and tuna tacos came out hot, however it was over salted, the fries were cold and uneatable because of the salt not to mention the hour and 15 minute wait it took to get the food. All of that took away from the possibility of it making up for the wait time. You'd think your management/ownership would better set up the staff on a night of any type of big beer release as well as a huge football game. The poor service and execution doesn't fall on the staff who were here, it falls on the ones leading the show. For the sake of future patrons please set your staff up for success with enough bodies to execute the job. read more

Went here on a Saturday evening for some drinks. Bartenders were completely drunk at 10pm. They had trouble with the complicated order: a white wine and a Hendricks and tonic. Couldn't seem to understand the difference between red and white wine...we were served red with a shrug and "that's all we have". The wine was terrible - when asked when it was opened we were told "July 1st." Should not have been served after 3 weeks. When I asked them to open a new bottle, they did so with a very sarcastic presentation. Gin and tonic took 10 minutes to prepare, without a lime. When I asked for a lime the bartender said they ran out and apparently couldn't be bothered to cut more. Went to the rooftop patio - service was slightly better there, but drinks were poor quality. They were not busy, so I would hate to see what would happen if they were. Go if you would like canned or draft beer - seemed even in the drunken stupor the wait staff could have accomplished that order. Could be a cool place- need some attention to service. read more
