Their famous vanilla syrup when it's sugar free is awful. Horrible after taste and their regular vanilla syrup is so high in sugar and carbs and doesn't even taste good. They made my drink wrong the first time then re-made it only for it to taste bad. Then a third time only for me to give up on asking to fix it. Price is high for mediocre quality. I've had better coffee at so many coffee shops in the area and this is not it.

Great ambiance at this location of Alfred. Lots of outdoor seating overlooking the grass area and shops. Busy on weekends but still nice to be here. The cold brew is delicious with easy whole milk. Perfect for a hot summer day. Customer service not so friendly at this location. Overall great place to get your coffee from.

My go-to coffee shop when in SoCal, since there is only one in the Bay Area I know of today. I get their infamous iced vanilla latte with oat milk and it's just simply good.

Ever since I had a random period of not wanting to have coffee at all (I'm not sure what happened, I just didn't want it for a long time), I have come to appreciate going to Alfred more because of their tea selection. Of course I am drinking coffee occasionally again now, and Alfred has good coffee, but I've come to really enjoy their Chai latte and loose leaf tea. A while back I asked if they sold packages of their loose leaf tea at this location and the staff didn't know what I was talking about (maybe she was new?) but I'm glad I was able to purchase some this last time. My kids claim they like to go to Alfred because of the pastry selection and being able to order their own iced chocolate milk or hot cocoa when they get to go with me (so spoiled). This is a cute location inside the village shopping mall. If you don't mind walking a block there is some free 2-hour parking on the residential streets between 8am and 6pm. Otherwise there is plenty of metered and underground parking.

What a cool cafe in the middle of a shopping/dining center! Perfect for those who like to people watch, but not so good if you're trying to do work as there were only a few small tables and no outlets. Although, we just needed to get some quick work done before a holiday party so it worked out well for us! Service was quick and we were very happy with our iced latte!

    Two savory pastry selections!

Solid 4 stars. My partner and I decided to take a drive to the Pacific Palisades farmers market as we have not been here in a couple years due to the COVID 19 pandemic. We decided to walk our dog and get coffee first. My review is as follows: Cold Brew: 5 stars! Smooth, delicious cold brew coffee. What more can I say? smooth taste, no sugar or cream required. Service: 5 stars! The lovely people behind the counter were fast and efficient, very friendly and were COVID compliant in terms of social distancing and face mask usage. Savory Patries: 4 stars Ham and Cheese croissant & Cheese and Toma / Herb danish. Ham and cheese was very good, but both of these pastries would rank higher if there was an option to have them heated up. The pastry could use a little more ham or cheese as well. Cheese & Toma(to) / herb danish Was also good but could use a bit more cheese and also the option to be heated up as well. Clean location, always busy with pleasant people to talk to and enjoy a lazy Sunday morning stroll. I will come back here again the next time we are up in the Palisades.

It's Alfred Coffee so you know their espresso drinks are going to be super strong. Also, it's Alfred Coffee, so you know the location is somewhere interesting. This particular Alfred Coffee is located in Palisades Village - an outdoor shopping center nestled in Pacific Palisades' busiest commercial area. This Alfred is located around Palisades Village's square so you can sit on one of the outdoor cafe tables to people watch... or keep an eye on your kids while they run around the grassy area. Street parking all over the streets but if you prefer, a parking structure is on site as well.

I'm so glad this replaced general porpoise. That place was ok but not great. I find the staff at this location to be kind & helpful. Their lattes are great & I love the multiple iced tea options they have every day. Shop is small but super cute. Love that they are in the palisades village now.

I ordered a large matcha latte with oat milk. The cafe was cute and allowed dogs. The service was quick and efficient, and my latte was delicious. There's also outdoor seating available which makes things convenient if you want to sit outside and not too close to other people. I would like to come here again and order the iced espresso lavender latte or the lavender matcha latte.

Dusk and a hot cup of matcha latte...try it

Palisades Village is a beautiful location with Alfred coffee possessing the same consistent quality as the other stores. The shop was intended to take advantage of outdoor seating so the floor space is smaller than Beverly Hills or Melrose. It is still a place to meet over coffee or tea but spend it outdoors in a sunny and usually mild climate. Parking can be a challenge but there is an adjacent underground garage that is only full on Farmers market Sundays.

Such a disappointment! My iced mocha taste like water and Hersheys syrup. I could not taste the coffee at all and it was very artificial and flavorless. Service was fine and the store is very cute, but the coffee was definitely not worth seven dollars.

I love Alfred Coffee. But- this location has rude staff. Two male baristas are extremely unfriendly. I would not recommend this location.

I had to have him try it since he's a "vanilla latte connoisseur". He said it was one of the best! I also tried all the pastries. Olive cake and chocolate banana bread were fiireeeeeee! Loved how moist banana bread was! The olive cake was also still really good the next day after you warmed it up. Both were not overly sweet which I love! The cookie was okay. We didn't like the salt on top of it. It was kind of weird too that the staff if I wanted salt in my matcha. Not sure if that's a thing??? Ambiance is casual. Love the spacious seating indoor and outdoor. There's also a pick up window! I can't wait to come back again and try another drink!!

The drinks are consistently good, which I really appreciate. That said, the hours have been a little iffy lately. There have been several instances where I've shown up around 7:15-7:20 AM only to find the chairs still up on the tables and the lights off, so I'm assuming someone didn't show up on time. The most recent instance was this Wednesday (9/2/26), when I arrived around 7:20 AM and the shop was still closed. It was a bummer, especially since this isn't the first time it's happened. I tried my luck again yesterday (9/3) and today (9/4) around the same time, and luckily the shop was open. Shoutout to the girls who were working yesterday and this morning for showing up on time and making some fire drinks! . I hope the opening hours become more reliable, especially for the early workers.

I ordered the breakfast burrito with beef bulgogi, and it was impressively hearty. It was packed with a generous amount of egg and tender beef, making it a filling, protein-packed meal. The bulgogi added a delicious balance of savory and subtle sweetness, while the potatoes gave the burrito even more substance. The ingredients complemented one another well, and this is something I would absolutely order again. While waiting for the burrito, I had the pain au chocolat warmed up. It was flaky, buttery, and chocolatey without being overly sweet. Heating it brought out the richness of the pastry and melted the chocolate just enough. Of all the baked goods I have tried here so far, this has easily been my favorite. I also ordered the strawberry coconut smoothie. The coconut base tasted fairly mild on its own, with very little sweetness at first. Once I thoroughly mixed in the strawberry purée, however, the smoothie became much more flavorful and had the sweetness it needed. My only suggestion would be to drizzle the strawberry purée along the sides or layer through the middle of the cup rather than placing it on top. That would make it much easier to mix evenly and enjoy the intended strawberry flavor. Overall, everything was satisfying, and each item brought something different to the meal. The beef bulgogi breakfast burrito was hearty and flavorful, the pain au chocolat was a standout, and the smoothie became delicious once properly mixed. I would gladly return and continue exploring the menu.
