The Sunrise Brew is a cute small coffee shop (trailer truck) on W. Channel Rd and Short st in Pacific Palisades/Santa Monica. The only coffee shop to grab coffee in the area besides the Chevron convenient store. They offer flavorful smoothies, coffee, and pastry food. I had Topanga smoothie and drip coffee. The smoothie was perfectly concocted and good for a warm beach weather and their drip coffee was flavorful and made of fresh brewed coffee beans. Staff was friendly and professional. Outdoor garden patio seating only. Atmosphere was great despite a lack of music! Prices seem fair for the area. Street parking only. Overall, it's a good cute lil coffee place. Ok, I love this place, I really do. But their pastries and their drinks are in different universes. They have my favorite pastry ever, the raspberry crumble bar, which changed my mind about gluten free pastries. I never liked one until this and the raspberries are the most concentrated tangy sweet raspberry flavor, I don't know how they do it. The granola crumble is the right blend and texture, and the bottom pastry is delicious. Their drinks on the other hand are hard to swallow. The blue tea one (forget the name) and the smoothie that I had I couldn't even get through. I adore the airstream, the seating space, the location, and the pastries, so I'll stick to the good stuff because I will absolutely be back. read more

Came in on a weekend after playing volleyball and it hit the spot. It is a cool little truck located in a patio next to a taco stand (I need to try next time). They have plenty of seating and it is a laid back atmosphere. Food rundown: we tried the Venice breeze and golden hour. The golden hour was our favorite as it was a nice consistency and flavorful. The mango and turmeric combo created a vibrant color and flavor. The Venice breeze fell a little flat and was definitely not worth $9. 06/27/2020 - We were coming back from a walk by the beach when my husband suggested to stop here and get a cup of coffee or a smoothie. I loved the vintage look and the outdoor seating area. We ordered one of their smoothies and I must say that the girl who work there (I'm not sure if she was the owner or an employee) had such a bad attitude. We waited a few minutes for our order and then asked her how long it would be. She said it may take a while and again was extremely unpleasant, so we just canceled our order and left. Usually I don't mind waiting but she was so rude and her attitude was bad, we felt like we are just bothering her by placing a simple order. we will take our business elsewhere. read more

Super cute airstream bus on W. Channel Road in Santa Monica opposite the Golden Bull Restaurant before you hit the PCH. Nice for quick coffee or sandwich. They also do fresh smoothies and some other healthy options. It's a new location, and needed since they mostly only have full restaurants that serve dinner on the street so if you just wanted something small or quick for breakfast or lunch option. They are open 7am to 4pm Tuesday to Friday, 7:30pm to 4pm Sat/Sun, but closed on Mondays. They have a few chairs and umbrellas for some outside seating. Better for quick grab and go on the way to the beach. I had their avocado toast with chili flakes! Ran me about $10, single slice of toast. The avocado was fresh and good. Will be back to try one of the fresh smoothies that they have. They also have vegan and gluten free pastries and healthy options. The line was a little long and the wait when I went but that was because they only had one person doing everything. Need at least two people to manage orders and make the food etc. It was a Saturday so maybe that's why. But will be back! read more

Such a cute idea! And spot! Their menu is short and too the point. The smoothies are delicious! And the gluten free banana nut bread is a must try! It's also in walking distance of the beach. A nice little spot for a good Verve coffee and a hummus bowl (so good that we didn't have time to take a picture!). They do use good quality products so everything is delicious and fresh. I've ordered smoothies and matchas from here a few times while I'm going for a walk. The smoothies have been decent, the matchas slightly bitter and powdery. The employees had been fairly nice so I came back a couple of times. It usually takes a while to get the order. The service I've experienced overall has been good but my last experience when I had ordered a couple of smoothies was awful. The owner (I think) is incredibly rude. I had ordered a smoothie for myself and one for my husband, and asked for a cup of water for my dog. She very curtly told me there are only bottles to buy and a dog water bowl next to the airstream and across the way. I told her both water bowls were unfortunately empty but she just rolled her eyes and ignored me completely/closed their screen.
