Best Mexican food! The Lupe's Tacos (Beef) are amazing with the chino beans.

My roommate likes bland food and thus likes this place. Nothing is wrong, they just never learned to add spices to their food. You'll find the blandest, most non-spicy, flavorless bean-paste foods here. Plenty of mild cheese and beans, bean-paste, rice, and unseasoned meat. Nothing more. An affordable place to fill up, but your taste buds will fall asleep. The sopapilla is just air with some icing on bread. Not reccomended. read more

We have alway loved this place but they have changed things up and was terrible when we were there last week. Think they tried to make things better but ended up a big mistake!! We got a lot of food but both of us go a ton of greasy food and way too much cheese it made it SOOOO RICH it up set our stomachs and after fighting being upset we had to trash our left overs. Before the Moore Cafe had the best food out of all the other Alfredo's, but not NOW. It will be a long time before even try them again. read more

OVERPRICED Mexican food, My 4 year old is a light eater and when my wife said she would share with my 4 year old, was told would cost an additional 4.98, So we canceled our order and got the kids meal to go. All we had was a beer, my wife had a soda and 1 kids meal. TOTAL BILL 24.98 WOW. was charge 10.98 for chips. Great Mexican food at a great price! Margaritas are really good too. They have a great selection of Mexican dishes to choose from, but my favorite is the enchilada platter. They also have a great selection of sides to choose from in addition to the usual beans and rice. My personal favorites are the Mexican corn in a Mexican mashed potatoes. Make sure to also ask for the extra hot salsa if you like spicy. SO GOOD! read more

Alfredo's is always busy, you should know that going in. But it is deservedly popular. It is our second favorite Mexican restaurant (behind Tara's). Everything here is pretty good, the food tastes fresh, and the wait staff is, for the most part, very friendly. Pro tip: ask for some corn relish (yes, it's free) to eat with your chips. read more

Best queso around! Not super impressed with the flavor on the chicken, I feel like it could use more, but the beef is yummy.

Most of our meal was good and our server was very nice, but I found the prices astronomical for the quality of the meal. My husband's plate was badly cracked, with a 2" chip out of the ceramic on one side and should have been retired (for cleanliness, not looks). The queso served with the chips and salsa was very watery and didn't congeal at all when it cooled which I found really odd, and the "fried beans" were obviously canned beans run through a blender. The guacamole was excellent and the fajita meat was good, but not good enough to make up for the mediocrity of the rest of the experience. Oh, almost forgot to add that we were initially planning on sharing an appetizer since we were travelling and very tired. We were informed that we would be charged a $6.95 fee ($4.99 according to the website and $5.95 according to the menu, I later found) for the chips, salsa, and queso to do so. I asked if we could skip the chips and was told we would be charged the fee in any case because I had eaten one already. read more

This place used to be one our favorites but the quality of the food has gone way down. Flavor is off and things are usually not cooked well. The staff is usually attentive and helpful for the most part sometimes it's awful and you see your waiter once when you order and that's it. The price defiantly no longer matches the quality. read more

We come here pretty often. There is usually a wait, as it's popular but isn't huge, but the hosts are always courteous and the waits don't seem to take as long as the times we are told. The food is always hot, comes out quick, and tastes good. The salsa is always fresh and the queso is very good, much better than the watered-down crap at Ricky's across the street. I also really like the flour tortillas, which taste homemade. I do prefer Ricky's flour tortillas but these are a close second. It's also worth noting that they have a good selection of beans- like four different kinds. Most places just have refried pinto beans and a version of "borracho beans" (pinto as well) but here they also have black beans and chino beans. The glazed sopapillas are delicious. Most of the time the service is just fine but sometimes it's been so-so. There's been one guy we've had a couple times who just seems bored and unhappy to be there, which makes it a bit awkward as a customer. I always see a manager on the floor and as someone in the food service industry (my husband as well), that's a great sign of a well-run establishment. Good place overall and good prices for what you get! We will continue to be loyal customers. read more

this place was better than bueno but not by much. We started our meal with ordering drinks. I ordered a frozen strawberry margarita. Apparently frozen is a relative word as there was nothing frozen about it. Had I realized I would have at least gotten it on the rocks so I could have some type of ice in it. My husband got a Modelo that he says was the best part of his meal. Next we were served the standard salsa and queso. the salsa was bland, the queso was so salty I could only have a few bites and the chips were stale. Next came our dinner. I ordered the pork Guiso Verde and he ordered beef quesadilla. We recieved our food relatively quickly, however mind was Luke warm almost on the side of cool and my husband didnt get any condiments with his (guacamole, sour cream, pisco de gallo) when we said something about it the waiter he informed us that we got 2 sides. Since he got rice and beans that counted for his 2 sides. We didnt see our waiter again after that. We finally got tired of waiting and got up and asked the front to give us our ticket. When our waiter came back and we were honest about our experience he berated us telling us how good he was. needless to say we wont be back. read more

THIS REVIEW WAS INTENDED FOR THE BETHANY LOCATION: So disappointed. I wanted so bad to like this place. It is close by our home, and I have heard several people say they LOVE it. We went tonight and it was terrible! The guacamole tasted like it was one of those pre-made, frozen guacs. The shredded beef filling in the enchilada and taco was so salty that we could hardly eat it (and I am NOT salt sensitive). The chili sauce over my enchilada was not as good as what you get at Taco Bueno. Seriously, it was red, but clear like a chicken gravy made with cornstarch would be. The tamale was not as good as what I make at home (and I am not from Mexico and have only made tamales once in my life - from an online recipe!). The very worst part was the price. For two of us to each have a dinner plate, and one Iced tea (my hubby had water), it was $37 BEFORE the tip. We will not be going back. We told them we were not happy and they offered a coupon to come back, but I did not even want that. Please don't make me go back - even if it were free. Go to Able's Mexican Restaurant instead. It is just down the road, much better food and LOTS cheaper. read more

Great food tonight. We have had trouble getting seated the last few times we have been in. There is 6 of us and they keep seating tables of five in front of us after we have waited for over thirty mins two separate times. But yes finally after 6 months we were able to get seated and enjoyed a great meal. read more

I went here for the first and last time. I was not impressed at all. I ordered the chicken fajitas and I had more onions and peppers than chicken!! I actually had to dig around all the onion/peppers just to find a piece of chicken, I also had to ask 3 times for my tortillas!. My husband ordered 2 beers not only did he pay for those beers but they charge a liquor tax as well, which they DO NOT tell you they charge! I have never been somewhere that has that charge before! Not to mention the prices are as if they were a fancy place and trust me they are not....5 dinners 4 drinks and 2 beers ended up costing almost $100! Way to much for low quality service and food... I've tried to enjoy this place, but they just can't get it together. Two different occurrences, same result. Prompt meet and greet, quick drink service, and order placement timely. That's where the good ends. Both times, we have waited on a particular side that wasn't even brought with the meal. This last time it wasn't brought out until we asked and that was after we had finished the food that had been delivered. Don't get me wrong, the food that we did get wasn't horrible, but customer service is as much of the meal as the food. I am in okc visiting my parents. I had never need here but it was recommended by my parents and several neighbors. First off the bat we never waited to be seated and every person was given individual salsa and cheese sauce. The menu all looked amazing! Our food came VERY fast! Everything tasted amazing! I noticed a small problem with my dinner and told the waiter he immediately took my plate and replaced the whole dinner even tho I had already eaten half of it. It was back with in a few minutes! When the bill came they told me I was not changed for my dinner and they were very sorry. On top of that a manager was there right after apologizing over and over and guaranteeing we will be right back! I would have went back no matter what because the food and service is amazing. But on top of that they worked fast to fix a small problem and went above and beyond to make sure I was still happy and taken care of! read more

I came in to Alfredo's on 9/23/18 with a large party to celebrate my father-in-law's birthday. I have been a patron of this establishment for many years and was astonished by the lack of services we received. First, I would like to point out that our waitress Sol was amazing and went above and beyond for us and everyone else in her section. She has a tremendous work ethic and it showed last night. What was troubling was the sheer lack of help she received from her coworkers who were to busy standing around conversing with one another to notice her need of assistance. I spoke with the manager on duty Ashley as my party and I waited a significant amount of time for our food. She could not offer us any reason for the lack of help our waitress received during what could only be described as a slow night; which was indeed troubling. Ashley didn't even have the courtesy to come and speak or apologize to us during our time their after we voiced our concerns. After this experience which turned my father-in-law's birthday dinner into a sour memory I am unsure if I'll be returning. Honestly if it wasn't for Sol and her hard work and dedication I wouldn't even give this place a 1 star rating. read more

Ordered carry out. We were not eating at home, so it was quite a shock to discover this restaurant is too cheap to provide utensils or napkins! The manager said they provide this "on request", yet they don't tell you there aren't any nor do they ask if you need them. We went to a nearby fast food restaurant and they gladly gave us free forks and napkins when we told them about cheap Alfredo's. The food was overpriced with barely a scoop of rice and beans. Save your money and go to Taco Bueno, cheaper, tastier, and they will give you a fork and napkin. read more

This was my second time dining at Alfredo's. The first time, the service was good and the food mediocre. I sampled the tamale and chicken enchilada. The tamale tasted old and the enchilada was under seasoned chicken wrapped in a tortilla with a little sour cream sauce. I chose the Mexican mashed potatoes and it was bland potatoes mashed. What was Mexican about it? I still wonder. The black beans were so salty! I think the extra salt was supposed to go into the mashed potatoes! The overall experience was ok. I thought I would try this place again and order something different. The second time the service was slow since the staff seemed to be catering to larger parties. The food was bland. I had the taco salad and it was blah, blah, blah! The food at Taco Bueno would beat this place in a blind taste test. It was over priced for the food. Seriously, sour cream and guacamole is considered a side item! The only good thing I would say about the food is the chips and corn salsa. I will not be dining here again. read more

My wife had family come through Moore on their way to Stillwater and wanted to eat at Alfredo's so we agreed. We had not been there in several years because the last 2 times we were there the food was bland but we figured we would give it another chance. BIG mistake!! The complimentary chips, salsa, and queso arrived and we immediately noticed that the salsa tasted like it was straight out of a food service container, not home made. The queso was thin and bland, also. I ordered the street tacos with Mexican cream corn and black beans for the sides. My wife had a taco and a cheese enchilada ala carte. Her cheese enchilada was cold; so cold the extra cheese on the plate was not even melted. My street tacos were "ok," but nothing to get excited about. The cream corn was good but the black beans tasted like they came straight out of a can with absolutely no seasoning. The waitress returned about that time and asked if we wanted refill on the drinks. My tea came back with some added protein. I was in a conversation when the tea got back to me and when I stopped to add Splenda to it I noticed a fly in it. When I pointed it out to the waitress she took it away and brought me another but there was never a visit from a manager or an offer to comp any part of the meal. We will NOT be back. read more

My husband and I are huge Mexican food lovers and this place made the rotation for a while until we took our children here with us after church one day and was charged gratuity on our bill. We were a table of six total- we had one of our daughter's with us who was 12 at the time and her cousin who was also around 12, our four year old and our one year old little boys. The only one we didn't order a meal for was the one year old and he ate off my plate- not that he ate that much either but we were shocked that we were charged gratuity on top of our bill. Because I was a server and my husband is not an a** we always tip at least 20% which we made sure we did here too even over the gratuity that was added because we didn't realize they charged it to us initially; but that they felt like they needed to charge gratuity on a six top that was one family of parents and the kids just rubbed us the wrong way. We have only been back for family a huge family get together since but the food is good; just check your receipt you may be leaving a double tip too! read more
