Service here was terrible, when we walked in the line was pretty long and so it was taking a a while which is fine it happens, we were in line for abt 10 minutes after a while a hostess asked us to take a seat if we were dining in which we were. Do not buy tamales from this place! I bought half a dozen of each pork, cheese, and elote and the cheese tamales were spoiled. They tasted bitter and had clearly gone bad. We called and preordered 3 dozen tamales and a flan days prior and were told to call the day of pickup 30 mins before pickup to make sure the order would be ready. We were forced to call multiple times because they just kept leaving the phone on the counter the entire time. It was our first time trying this place. It was such a disappointment! The pork tamales were good, a little dry but good. The rajas tamales are a hard pass. The cheese is authentic but it's mostly just masa and the masa is pretty bland and dry. I don't recommend. Fortunately I noticed they only had one Flan left so I grabbed it before they sold out, it was decent. Service was terrible! I wanted to return to try out their buffet but the service is just horrible there. Absolutely every employee we encountered had the nastiest attitude. They were so entitled that it felt as though we ought to feel privileged to even be there. It was ridiculous. Oh and our order wasn't even ready! Not only did we have to wait over an hour for the tamales to get there from another store, they also had us wait in line. It's a definite NEVER AGAIN for me. First time going, wife is from Sinaloa so we gave it a try. We were looking for a traditional spot and this was it. Seating is kinda weird but understandable. The food was great. The only thing I really dislike was that there was so many flies inside. It was very uncomfortable when you're trying to enjoy good food. Flies kept landing on us and landing on the table very unclean. Also so many tweakers and homeless outside. But service was good and helpful. I hope they do something about the flies.
