Algoberto's serves up fast, authentic Mexican food at an affordable price. We ordered inside for take out and it was ready in less than 10 minutes. We got a #6 (chicken enchillada and chicken taco plate) and a chicken burrito plate. Plate meaning it comes with rice and beans. We also got a side of chips. The food was really good and the chips were nice and crunchy. Unfortunately, they forget the side of rice and beans for the chicken burrito plate which was the only downside to our experience and the reason for four stars. May have ordered the wrong things but I was not impressed at all with my food. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and carne asada fries. The quesadilla was nasty to me. I never in my life have had whole slices of tomatoes in a quesadilla. And there wasn't much cheese to keep it together. There wasn't much flavor at all. The carne asada fries were ok. All the sauce made it soggy which I usually don't mind but it just wasn't my favorite. There were some weird bits of the asada which led to me not finishing it. read more

This is a great restaurant if you want quick food. The salsa from the fresh salsa bar are delicious! We get the pickled carrots each time we go. We've tried several different things from here, including the Adobada and Carne Asada plates, as well as several of the burritos. Everything is delicious. The service is wonderful. I've reviewed this staple restaurant before, but another review is needed. I typically travel 20-30 min. To the southeast part to town to get menudo because I didn't know the owner of this place knows how to make menudo among other caldos. Let me tell you that this menudo checks off all the boxes! Thickness, flavor, seasoning. Authentic as F*! Talked to the owner and the location in green valley sells pots of this each week. I'm just grateful he put be on game and let me sample it because now I'm hooked! I consider myself pretty lucky to live so close to this establishment. Algobertos is our go to Mexican food restaurant. I usually either order the chicken chimichanga or the vegetarian burrito. My kids always get the bean and cheese burrito kids meals and those are the best deal for kids that I have seen. The portions are huge and this last my kids at least two meals. Everyone that works there is nice and I have never had an issue with their service. We usually get our food to go since we live so close but if you want to eat there, there is some indoor sitting. The only thing that sucks is that they are closed on Sundays and I always crave a good burrito on Sunday lol. read more

Pretty disappointing experience tbh. Ordered on Uber Eats and got a pollo asado burrito, 3 chicken rolled tacos, and chicken enchiladas. The tortilla was a bit dry and stale. Both types of chicken were dryer than the Mojave desert. The grilled chicken almost had a consistency of jerky, I almost wonder how old it is. Today was not the first time that my husband and I have ordered from Algoberto,s on Cimmeron. We have been going there for many years and have always raved about the food but tonight the food was almost ineatable! I ordered the 2 fish taco plate and when my husband got home with the order I had just 2 fish tacos and nothing else also the fish was burnt to a crisp (almost ineatable). Needless to say I was very disappointed. My husband,s food was also not very good. The beef was very chewy. He also was very disappointed in the quality of the food tonight. For a treat I ordered the nachos with beef I asked for no Pico and onions extra shredded cheese and sliced avocados. Gross. I've been here a few times and it usually fine for a Robertos knockoff place- you know what you're getting when you go to one. Today the carne asada had a hard piece of white plastic in it, about the size of an onion. It hurt my teeth to bite down on. I wish I would have thought to get a refund, but instead we just stormed out. The drink machine was 100% down but they handed us an empty cup anyway. When we asked for horchata I could tell they were throwing some shade about it because I'm sure there is an upcharge. It was the only edible part of our meal. Tried this place for the first time today, and we're so glad this place is in the area! It's a small neighborhood restaurant tucked in a small plaza behind the Domino's and Animal Hospital, so it's easy to miss it! Inside, the restaurant had a good amount of booth style seating for everyone and enough space for people to wait around for to-go orders! Food (5/5): We ordered the Carne Asada Tacos under the specials (5/5!!) and it was delicious! Topped with pico de gallo, guacamole, onions, and cilantro, the tacos are so stuffed that the second taco underneath couldn't wrap around! Also with rice and fried beans on the side, this special will DEFINITELY fill you up and leave you happy! We also had the Five Mini Carne Asada Tacos (3/5) which we enjoyed, but thought the meat was a bit dry (only meat, onion, and cilantro) and would recommend a sauce or something to pair with it. Service (5/5): The cashier was very kind, welcoming, and helpful! Since it was our first time, they were kind to take the time to offer us recommendations to choose a dish. They don't hold a candle to this place at all. People are always very nice and the service is great. HEALTH CONCERN!!! We went here a few months ago and will never ever be back. Not only was the food greasy and flavorless, but it was all fat and no meat. I truly think this place needs to be assessed by the health inspector because I saw flies and other insects landing and crawling on the RAW meat that they had laid out on the tables in the open air. Algoberto's is a quick and easy Mexican restaurant. It's located in NW vegas, on local streets, Cimarron and Farm. My boyfriend and I ended up going on a weekday for a late lunch. Inside Algoberto's, the table seating was super clean, pretty much spotless. We were greeted with a "Hello" and asked if we needed any assistance with the menu. The menu consists of a wide variety of options, including Tacos, Burritos, Enchiladas, Tortas, Tostados and a few other selections. My boyfriend selected the beef burrito. I ended up choosing their lunch special for $7.75 which included [3] chicken tacos [hard-shell]. A soft-drink was also included. For $7.75, the quantity was quite filling. The three hard-shelled tacos were relatively large, stuffed with shredded chicken, salad, and cheddar cheese. Algoberto's has a side bar which has a variety of vegetables and dressings available. I ended up just asking for sour cream on the side for the tacos. The tacos were quite delicious, however, I wouldn't get a hard-shelled again. I'd ask for a soft taco instead. The customer service was great. The food arrived quickly and the flavor was good. I'd recommend checking Algoberto's out if you're looking for a quick bite that is relatively inexpensive. read more

Food was salty, at first I thought it was just the first bite but I was wrong. My entire plate was salty, my fiancee's was too. I ordered the two carne asada taco plate with rice and no beans. She ordered the pollo asada fries. Now, I know what you're thinking... asada is typically salty.. but no. I know what the right amount needs to be and last night's dinner wasn't it. I didn't even finish my food. I grew up in Santa Ana, CA so Mexican food for my taste buds is a no brainer. Saw this place when I went to the dessert place next door one day and decided to come back and give it a try with the family. We ordered the 5 mini tacos plain, carne asada fries plain(cheese/sour cream only), and a carne asada chimichanga plate, with extra sour cream and green sauce on the side. It was okay. It filled up our bellies. We may give it a go one more time and try something else next time because what we ordered this time was a little short of what our taste buds experience when ordering from Alberto's.
