Las pupusas are great, the service is horrible. The waitresses are unpleasant and never friendly. They never bring out the correct amount of food you order, and always bring your order out separately and never at the same time as the group you come in with. I don't recommend this place at all. They wrote down my order wrong and expected me to pay for their mistake. When I was about to pay I asked them not to charge me for their error, they asked me if I had touched the food...(I never ate it ) making it seem like they were going to serve it to someone else. Extremely disappointed with the lack of customer service and attention to detail. I ordered three Carne Asada tacos and was handed a container full of empanadas. The waitress didn't take a moment to double-check the order before giving it to me, which shows a real lack of consideration for customers. This was my first time having Salvadoran food before! It was delicious! This Las Pupusas location is located in Northwest Las Vegas off of the 95/Cheyenne exit. It's next to several local businesses and has a private parking lot with ample amount of parking. Inside the restaurant there is plenty of table seating, physically distanced. We waited at the register before a team member came and seated us, promptly. The restaurant's décor is pretty cool. There is a variety of pictures and a TV situated inside the restaurant. There is a wide variety of cuisine offered at Las Pupusas such as burritos, fajitas, tacos, tortas, pupusas, and Salvadorian dishes. We had to order Pupusas! My favorite Pupusa was the Loroco Con Queso, which is herb and cheese. The restaurant also provided a cole slaw with a red vinegar type sauce for the Pupusa. For our entrees we had ordered the big burrito ground beef and the Pechuga De Pollo Asada, grilled chicken breast. The Big Burrito was left-over for another meal due to being full from the Pupusas! The Pechuga De Pollo Asada was decent. The rice and vegetables were cooked perfectly, but the chicken was over-cooked. It was too hard and chewy to eat, unfortunately. I ended up mixing the rice and vegetables with the Pupusas instead. The team members at Las Pupusas were friendly and helpful. A team member would check-up and ask if we needed anything else. The restaurant was fairly empty, but there were a lot of pick-up orders!! The price wasn't too bad for all of the food either, approximately $40.00 including tip. This was a hungry cravings on the spur type place to eat for lunch at work. I've never had this type of food before but was intrigued when my co-workers were talking about it so I decided to give it a try. I ordered one thing and glad I did. Surprised none of the reviews talk about the uncleanliness of the place. The bathroom is disgusting and smells of sewage. The rest of the nasty place is run down, filled with dust, things not working, and just plain gross. Look at the ceiling fans covered completely in thick dust as with the pick up signs. While trying to not throw up there was a guy with his shoes off eating. The food is awful. They also charge you a service fee for using a debit card...?? I've never had Salvadoran food before, so perhaps it's not fair for me to provide a rating. My friend has traveled extensively through Central America, including El Salvador; and she lived in both Costa Rica and Panamá. She loves pupusas and was anxious for me to try them, knowing that I enjoy trying foods from other places and that I, too, lived in Panamá. She is a fan of Las Pupusas and would probably give more stars than the three I'm giving. The pupusas were as my friend described but I found them to be bland. We then topped them, as I'm told is customary, with cole slaw and a red vinegar-based sauce. Still bland. You choose your filling: chicken, pork, cheese or zuchini, all of which include refried beans. My friend ordered platanos for us to share. They were very good and were excellent when combined with a taste of refried beans and sour cream -- although the presentation left something to be desired. Service was very good. Prices were very reasonable. The iced tea is sweet. They do not have unsweetened tea, nor do they have beer or wine. (At some point, they did sell beer but now they don't. I don't know if this is a permanent change or a temporary situation.) The hook on the stall door (ladies restroom) was broken off, so I had to urinate with my large handbag hanging from my shoulder. The ladies restroom could use a facelift, no doubt about it. They also serve Mexican food. I didn't try it; I was there for the Salvadoran experience. My friend has never had the Mexican food here either, for the same reason, but she has been told that it is very good. read more

I went with my family and it took them about an hour to give us our food, when I asked the waitress why it was taking so long she said they had two orders of 40 pupusas before ours. We were one of the only people in there, they couldn't make 6 pupusas before the order of 80 or at least tell us before hand? When we finally got our food after 2 days we went to pay and they charged us $8 gratuity for a "large" table (there was only 4 of us) I will never eat here again ! read more
