Food: Iffy at best, eggs were done as requested. Hashbrowns underdone as I requested crisp, barely tinged brown on the top only, some were not even cooked at all. Husband ordered the home fries, way undercooked, again, some were even hard yet and barely browned. The small piece of thin breakfast ham with his meal was " like are you kidding me" small! I did not order any meat. Now the toast, under done as in barely tan in color, but the + side here was they did butter it good as requested. Tasted more like just a piece of buttered bread though, no toast crunch. So in conclusion, eggs=A, everything else=F. Sorry but we call like we see it, taste it. Like others have said, food is okay, it's what I expect from a breakfast/lunch mom & pop style place. I've only had breakfast the few times I've dined here, but I just cannot wrap my head around being charged $6 for the same amount and style of tots/rounds you get from Chick-fil-A for less than $2. They're listed as "mini potato cakes", so I absolutely expected something more than standard fried potato rounds when I ordered my $6 side of "cakes" to go with my $7.50 sideless bacon, egg and cheese biscuit. Perhaps I should've had the waitress explain the "potato cakes" were the same as Chick-fil-A or Hardee's hash browns and not some tasty latkes or, you know, actual POTATO CAKES. I can buy a whole bag of ore ida brand rounds from Publix for $6. I think it's pretty safe to say this price-gouged potato item is not made in-house.. perhaps homemade would help justify such an outrageous price for the amount shown in the photo. So I've driven past the place a million times. I'd never eaten here. Had a friend come to town and stay with us and one day we decided to bring him here and try the place out. It was absolutely packed! This had me excited! My wife asked the server what size the pancakes were and the server replied "about the size of my face." I was gobsmacked. Why would a server say this? It was absolutely bizarre. We received our food and it was absolutely horrible. The eggs were cooked correctly, toast was mangled, home fries were freezer burnt, ketchup and syrup were an unknown brand, filled into clearly repeatedly reused containers. The 'Heinz' was clearly not real ketchup and so on. It was just bad, bad food. We will never return and never recommend this place. Which sucks because they're locally owned. read more

We stopped in this morning for breakfast for myself, my wife, daughter and grandson. Great service and a great breakfast. But upon leaving we had a note on our windshield saying " next time you park here, I'll have your car towed" We parked in the back parking lot on the gravel. The sign says Breakfast Place parking? The place is okay depending on what you get. i believe i had a chicken and waffles which is why i returned yesterday. Do not get anything with eggs or an omelette at all. It smelled off, and tasted nasty. I took one bite and spat it out. i just had a gut feeling not to eat it. Ended up only eating the white toast with jam, some of the grits which were mid at best, and the remaining of the fruit cup from my spouse's cup. The meal was inexpensive. Took the Mazda in for service and walked next door expecting to have a regular breakfast. While looking at the menu, we noticed the bulgogi and asked the server who said it was excellent and the place is Korean owned. We both got it with the kimchi and wow! One of the best I've ever had. TL;DR: We just moved here and it looks like we've found our new favorite breakfast place in The Breakfast Place! This small, unassuming place is tucked away after a few car dealerships. We missed it the first time since it was quite small. But, you know it's good because they have a parking lot nearly 3x bigger than their restaurant. We went in here for breakfast since it was close to our house and I really wanted to get pancakes. Lo and behold, my morning was made when I saw they offered bulgogi and kimchi! My Asian heart rejoiced. Eating this delicious meal felt like I was half a world away and not in Florida. My husband had pancakes and French toast and he said he would have them again and again. Our lovely waitress was an older woman who was just the sweetest, kindest and most attentive. We never ran out of coffee and she checked on us every so often. Not the "how's everything" when you've just shoveled in food in your mouth. She actually waits to ask until you're done chewing. Shocking, I know! To cap this long review off, I am in love with this little breakfast place. And I am so happy we live nearby. read more

Decided to give this place a try on a Sunday morning after church. It's basically a local "iHop" style or "Denny's" style brunch restaurant... with a random option of Bulgogi in the menu! Haha. It's nothing fancy, but it wasn't horrible. They serve typical breakfast options, like pancakes, eggs, hashbrown, omelettes, etc. The portion size is very generous though, and the price is super affordable for what they give. On that aspect, I give this place 5 stars for being cheap and with big portions. However, I have to give this place a total of 3 stars because the taste of their food is mediocre. The seasoning in the country fried steak that we ordered was very bland. I could tell they used powdered gravy mix... because it just tasted like complete flour. I think iHop and Denny's is better in flavor, and that's saying something. On the other hand, I decided to try the bulgogi dish since everyone we know raves about it. The plate they brought out was huge, and it was only $10. It's not the most amazing bulgogi I've had, but it does taste pretty good, and you can choose the level of spiciness (mild, medium, spicy) and if you want beef/pork/chicken. I was a little disappointed that the carrots in the dish were not fully cooked. It needed to be sautéed a little more. Parking for the restaurant is a little confusing. There's spaces to park all around the small building, and there's an extension to park by the church near it. If you don't have anywhere else to eat for brunch, this place is an option... but it's not a "go to" spot for us. We'll pass next time! read more

We ordered one thing from the kids menu for our daughter, a two-egg omelette for me, and my husband ordered a breakfast sandwich. those three things cost us $40. We were pretty shocked/upset. my bacon was like shoe leather. The omelette was so thin the toast was served cold with butter sitting on it. The grits were tasteless and there was no butter on the table to add to it. Love the atmosphere of this place. Feels like home. Clean. Service was fantastic. There was probably a 4 minute gap between my order and when my food was served. Really surprising. Portions were great and food was fantastic. Prices were a little obscene. Example: $5 waffle!! Best part about the place: the staff seemed to know all the patrons by name and knew their families and what's the latest in their life, etc. It was truly communal joint where friends and family came to break bread and enjoy the company of one another. I would like to respond to Raquel P. Post in reference to and incident that did not accrue at this establishment. I was present the day this supposedly accrued. We were sitting approximately 7ft from her table. The baby got a red mark on its forehead from this incident. My kids at that age would cry and scream when they fall and hit there head because they were scared. This child did not make a sound. The chair that she refers to was inspected and found no issues. She was using it turned upside down with a car seat sitting the chair frame. There were camera's present and were reviewed with no evidence of this accident. This incident was posted on other media outlets and after my response it was taken down. Their high chair literally broke and my son in his car seat flipped over and they didn't care. We tried explaining it to the owner and she did not care at all. Their excuse was "we didn't see it" Will never come back here again. and they still charged us the full price. Service was great, and the hot chocolate and coffee my family got was amazing Edit 1: pancakes are soooo good so fluffy too the bacon is crispy yet kinda chewy, and best of all the syrup container wasn't covered in syrup.
