Meant to try this place when they were in a gas station. They are now operating out of a food truck, but they didn't yet have their fryer up and running when I finally got to try it AND they were out of beef at the time. That said, the chicken shawarma wrap was so good. They coat the wrap with a sauce while grilling and use whole pickle spears inside that both add awesomeness to an already classic item. There were about 3 orders waiting when we got there, and we still had to wait about 15 - 20 minutes which seemed like a long time, but it was well worth the wait. I can't wait to go back to try their beef and other fried items.

I found them on Yelp and was sold as soon as I saw "shawarma." I did not realize it was at the Sinclair Gas Station or that there is not yet seating until we were there. I am glad, though, because I would have missed out on this hidden gem. We ordered: - Beef Shawarma Wrap: 5/5 It was a generous amount of meat with a delightful tahini sauce and acidity from the pickled turnips. The parsley added a pop of freshness at the finish. - Chicken Shawarma Wrap: 4.5/5 The flavor was much more simple, but the garlic sauce was next level and carried it. The pita for the wraps seemed fresh, and had that balance of crisp on the grilled outside while soft on the inside for the right amount of chew. I am not sure what sauce was added as they grilled it, but it was great, too. The owners seemed really nice and we are hoping that they blow up, especially once they are on Door Dash and Grubhub.

i'm so glad they are in a food truck now!! lots of street parking there which is nice and the food is delicious and hot. it does take a bit to wait for the food but it's worth it. the owners are super nice and these were the crispiest wraps i've ever had. I liked the chicken ones but I gotta go back to try the beef one. also they give you so many fries when you order fries! I like that there was a pickle inside the wrap

Someone sent me a TikTok about a shawarma place in a Sinclair gas station, and it looked great, but would it taste great? The answer - absolutely!!! We tried the chicken shawarma wrap and the beef shawarma wrap. Both were amazing. The chicken was full of flavor and beef was tender and delicious. After the chef builds the wraps, he puts them on the flattop with some sauce to create a crisp crust. The chef was so nice and friendly. I will definitely be back for more.

Food 5/5 Service 5/5 Ambiance 5/5 I recommend it Very tasty Professional. It is inside the kr food mart

Watery sauce, no garlic flavor, no flavor at all

Tried this truck out due to Instagram, boy was I let down. I desperately wanted this truck to be good. To start the last in the front was great she let us know the time that we had to wait 30 mins. Totally fine bee in the food truck and restaurant game for almost 17 years and I get busy times. Which gave me hope that maybe with a wait like this for a food truck where orders are meant to be quick in and quick out. So we waited our turn and sat in our car. We actually waited for a little over 40 min but again if I waited this long for a food truck then it must be good. Well that thought quickly changed once I got my food. To start the size and amount of food was great. But and here is where I get critical. The wrap was burnt and had crusty grill char on it. No shawarma should have that. That means the grill is not being scrapped off and bits of the grill char is getting into the wrap. Which makes it taste burnt and it did taste burnt. Both of our wraps were burnt with grill crispies on it. I couldn't even taste the beef. No seasoning. On both wraps. The only thing I could taste was the pickle...and I don't pay 14.99 plus tax to eat a pickle. Secondly my garlic sauce was super watery and no taste of garlic anywhere. Which is hard since garlic is one of the most pungent aromatics in a kitchen. My girlfriend's sauce looked normal just no garlic flavor. 3rd the donuts were over cooked just a tad. They had flavor but the only one I could taste was lemon. I only post this so the owners could learn from it to make their food better. With the amount of 5 stars but then getting served what we had was just upsetting. Soending near 45-50 bucks for 3 items I wanted more flavor less burnt crispies on my food. Maybe the next person will have a better experience than what we did. Praying they have success but some things need to change. Please to the owners dont take this as someone being a jerk but a little advice from on chef to the next. Good luck you guys and I hope yall do well!

Tried the chicken shawarma and it was the best! Juicy chicken, flavorful garlic sauce, pickles, and crispy pita! I love the extra time they take to baste and grill the pita wrap, which makes it super crispy to perfection! I can see them expanding and hiring more people since right now, it's just a husband and wife team. Hole in the wall, but MAJOR flavor! Also the freshly baked chocolate chip cookies at the gas station register is a must have as well!

Less than half the container full is what was given to dip my dry shawarma.

I got SO MANY people sending me to try this place because I'm the foodie of my group; for this reason I'm so disappointed that I had higher expectations like, a better seasoned sauce, juicer meat, and maybe at least an extra piece or two of meat in the hallow shawarma. I hope it was just unlucky me and hope as they grow they make adjustments.

When we arrived, we were the only people in the shop. The owner was extremely friendly and started a long and fun conversation about pro football ("soccer") and his sons' team and their games. He gave us a couple of small sample plates while we waited for our ordered food, and told us to grab fountain drinks too at no charge. Our ordered food then arrived, and as we ate he switched the conversation to the lack of sports and business opportunities during the Covid pandemic and how he proudly didn't get vaccinated. I had been prioritized for a vaccination due to my profession and gotten it, and as soon as I mentioned that (in conversation, not confrontationally cos it was so long ago anyway and the subject doesn't need to be divisive) his mood and attitude to my partner and I soured. The conversation abruptly and awkwardly ceased, and we felt very unwelcome. Sure enough, when I went to pay the bill we were charged for the supposedly-free fountain drinks, and I didn't feel I could risk furthering ill-feeling towards us by disputing it. We left, regretting our choice of dinner. The food itself was at least good (albeit not outstanding compared to other local Mediterranean options) hence the star rating I've still given, but with the extra fountain drink cost that we wouldn't otherwise have incurred it turned into an expensive meal. In addition, and needless to say, the negative interaction left a very sour taste. I can't see myself going back. TL:dr; Go for the food, or get delivery, but beware that offers of 'free' items may not remain so.

I was hoping the leftover falafel would taste better the next day, but sadly, it didn't. Chicken and beef kabob were decent. Kinda bummed how they didn't have some sort of combo bowl. You'd have to buy extra meat if you wanted to try different meats together. The extras and sides were quite pricey, too. We also tried a variety of flatbreads. The spinach and cheese was our favorite. We liked the zataar one, and the meat with jalapenos was just ok. The thick creamy garlic sauce went well with the thin, crispy flatbreads, while the runny white sauce tasted bland and slightly bitter (unpleasant with everything, to be honest). Overall, the food is fine, but I wouldn't go again. A few tables were available inside the small, simple-looking shop, but it felt a bit awkward eating there. Of the 3 meats we had: Filet: The server asked how we wanted the filet cooked and we said medium, but not even a hint of pink; regardless it was very tender. A bit on the gamey side in case you don't like that, but for me it was fine. Chicken: Very juicy but a little undersalted and some parts were a bit chewy. Not among the best chicken kabob I've had. Kafta: This was the standout among the three. The seasoning was excellent, so herby and delicious. I appreciated the variety of having all three, but next time I might get just kafta. The hummus and baba ganoush were great, but also not particularly better than any other Mediterranean place. This is a small nitpick but for a nice place that otherwise uses all ceramic and silverware, why plastic cups for the tahini and garlic sauce?
