Dr Lerner is the best. Went to him with back pain and he got me fixed up. Staff is very professional and curtious. One of the best.

I recently went to Fast Pace Health in Lawrenceburg trying to continue care for my spine issues,…read moreincluding degenerative disc disease and chronic nerve pain. I'm already under a neurosurgeon and have been stable on non-opioid medications that actually work for me. Based on how your services are advertised, I came in hoping to set up long-term care and use you as my primary care for pain management. That was not my experience at all. During my visit, I left feeling dismissed. More than that, I felt like I was being viewed as a drug addict instead of a patient in pain. That was extremely hard to process. I am 32 years old with three young kids, and I have never used drugs recreationally. Avoiding opioid dependence has been a priority for me. I only turned to THCa after my spinal condition became severe, as a way to manage pain and be able to function in my daily life. My goal has always been stability and responsible treatment, not misuse. There is a real difference between recreational use and medically driven use. From a medical standpoint, cannabis and hemp-derived compounds are being studied and used more for chronic pain, especially nerve-related pain. I understand the research is still growing, but it is enough that many patients are turning to it as an alternative to opioids or more invasive treatments. What is difficult to understand is why cannabis is often immediately treated the same as high-risk or illicit substances, without any consideration of context, medical history, or intent. That kind of blanket thinking ignores the reality that patients are using it very differently, often as a way to avoid far more dangerous or addictive paths. I also understand the reality of the area we live in. Lawrenceburg and the surrounding region have struggled with drug issues, and I am aware of that. But that does not mean every patient should be treated like they are part of that problem. Being in this area should not automatically mean being viewed through that lens, especially when there is a documented medical history and an established treatment plan in place. I understand clinics have policies and regulations, but the way this was handled felt very rigid and dismissive of my actual medical situation. It came across more like policy, stigma, or personal bias than a balanced, evidence-based approach. When that happens, patients end up feeling judged or turned away instead of cared for, and that can be harmful, especially for people dealing with chronic conditions. Healthcare should be based on patient care, real understanding, and evolving medical knowledge, not assumptions. A one-size-fits-all stance on THC without considering a patient's documented conditions and specialist involvement oversimplifies complex situations. I also believe Tennessee has an opportunity to do better in this area. There is growing support for ideas like #potforpotholes, where medical use is taken seriously and recreational use is structured in a way that gives back to the community. Creating clearer pathways for legitimate medical use, like accessible programs or cards, could help patients get proper care without stigma while also benefiting the state. Lastly, professionalism matters. Patients deserve to be heard, especially when they are still speaking and trying to explain their situation. Walking out of the room while I was still talking was dismissive and not okay. That kind of behavior breaks trust. If Fast Pace Health wants to be seen as a true primary care provider, there needs to be more listening, policy changes that help the patient instead of only the clinic, more understanding, and more willingness to look at the full picture of a patient's health. I hope future patients are treated with more respect, compassion, and a willingness to actually listen.

Waited for triage nurse to call me in the comfort of my car. Triage nurse asked me questions over phone then asked me to come in. Did the usual blood pressure/ weight/ heart stats. Moved me to next room and saw doc within 15 minutes. Ordered antibiotics and within 30 minutes was able to pick them up. Very smooth process. Loved it. It was also nice that they were open late during the week.
