    The menu of the restaurant.

The restaurant is clean updated. The menu is full of different types of dishes even breakfast options. They even have Caribbean drinks and sweets.

They have reopened! There's a 10 to 15 mins wait after you order, and usually a line of people ordering so b be prepared to be patient. There's barely any parking for people driving, so bring someone to double park. The place opens at 10 am & cash only for now. The $2 doubles are delicious! The best I've had! The puri/poori is made fresh, the pepper is perfect & the chana is so flavorful! This is a minority family owned business. The owner works on site with his family, give them a visit! Happy Yelping!

The food is deliciouso " sucking the curry out of the bone lol the chicken is tender and the salt fish was prepared properly and it was very fresh. The service was friendly and the older lady was very pleasant when she was taking my order. I love the roti, the kitchen is clean from what can see through the glass and the prices are worth it because the food is fresh, not overly seasoned.

Food was terrible and dry! I went there and my order was incorrect. The roti had some sort of powder mixed in it.

One day my brother brought us a few to try, including their conch, beef and chicken. I was hooked. The first chance I got, I came in person and picked up more roti. We had the usuals, but for my kiddo, I ordered her roti not rolled because she's not a fan of too much bread and dough. She did love the food, so that was a win. I also used the opportunity to try their shark, fish balls, whiting and pholourie (10 for a buck!). All of it was great. They are cash only, so be prepared because the nearest bank is a few blocks away. I'm sure you can pop into one of the neighboring stores to use the ATM but worrying about skimmers, I'd sooner just go to the bank which is what I ended up doing. Have an idea of what you want so you're not holding up the line. I was standing there, ordering my food, and a line of five people gathered behind me. The owners are very nice and patient, which is a huge difference from how it is at some West Indian restaurants, where you feel like your presence is an inconvenience. IYKYK I will definitely be back!

Why did I wait so long to come here?!…read more I mean, I know why. It's a bit of a trek from where I live. But I'll happily travel for good food, and Trinciti absolutely justified the journey. As an Indian, I don't say this lightly. I know my Indian food. I was already aware of the historical overlap between Indian and Caribbean cuisines, but Trinidadian food fascinated me. The familiar spices and flavors are there, yet they've evolved into something entirely their own. You can taste the migration story, the adaptation, and the creativity in every bite. A quick practical note because Instagram reels had me misinformed. They do take cards. You don't need cash. Also, parking isn't exactly abundant, and there aren't many nearby places to sit with your takeaway. My advice is to grab a table and eat there. The space itself is small and pretty no-frills, so if you're coming for ambiance, this isn't that kind of place. But if you're coming for flavor, you're in exactly the right place. The setup is simple. You line up, order when it's your turn, and move things along. It's a busy spot, so a little menu reconnaissance goes a long way. The staff are efficient and patient, but they're not mind readers. Asking them whether shrimp or chicken is "better" feels like asking someone whether you should prefer chocolate or vanilla. Both are good. It depends on what you like. We ordered the dhalpuri roti, which is a soft flatbread stuffed with seasoned ground lentils. If you're sharing, ask for it not to be wrapped. Otherwise, it comes rolled up like a wrap. We filled ours with both the curried goat and the oxtail because we weren't there to play it safe. Both were excellent, paired with those comforting, home-style potatoes that soak up all the flavor without overwhelming you with spice. I also couldn't leave without trying the doubles, and we kept it plain. Oh. My. God. Flavor bomb. At its heart, it reminded me of chole bhature's distant cousin. The same comforting chickpea soul, but interpreted through Trinidad's lens with pepper sauces and chutneys that make it unmistakably its own. I honestly think the chutneys are what take it over the top. For the bake and shark though Pay first, take your number, and when they call you up, tell them how you'd like it dressed. Personally, I have a "trust the chef and give me everything" philosophy, so I said yes to it all. The result was a glorious mess of crispy fried shark piled high with pineapple, lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, and an array of vibrant chutneys that I am still thinking about. They do not skimp on the fish. Watching them assemble it from the front row is part of the fun. Before you leave, do not skip the cassava cake. The raisin dessert was a bit too sweet for my taste, but that's entirely personal and worth trying if you have a sweeter tooth than I do. They also sell plenty of snacks and hot sauces, so take a look around before heading out. One final thing I appreciated. They have a restroom and a sink stocked with soap. Trust me, you are going to get messy. That's part of the joy of eating here. If you're the kind of person who side-eyes people for eating with their hands, this might not be your scene. If you're willing to embrace the delicious chaos, Trinciti will reward you generously. I left full, happy, and wondering why I had let distance keep me away for so long. Some places are worth the drive. Trinciti is absolutely one of them.

My Trini friend was shocked that I;ve never had doubles and so this day was my lucky day. When you reach, the servers take your order along with as many toppings and additions. They also had bake and shark, bake and saltfish, and other items to choose from such as dhal puri roti, pholourie with tamarind sauce, it was my first time so I didn't go too crazy and wanted to appreciate the essence of the doubles. I would go back again. It is takeout, so don't get too comfy. Make sure you're ready to grab your order and take that first bite after you leave or reach your destination!

It is in the parking lot of Walmart/Home Depot but closer to the BJ's side. The wait was a bit long to order the food. They have a great ordering system in that they have a megaphone to call out your receipt number. I had a bit of a wait to receive my food. I initially went for corn soup and I should have just stopped ordering right there. The corn soup was very tasty. I didn't care for the dumplings that they had in it though. I poured pepper in my soup and it was real nice. I should have gotten two soups. I got an aloo pie with channa, pepper, tamarind, mango, cucumber, and chadon beni. This could have used more flavor, which is surprising, especially with all of the toppings on it. I got bake and saltfish with tamarind and pepper. I truly did not like or enjoy this at all. I took one bite and knew I shouldn't eat anymore. I took another bite to be sure and after that bite decided to just take my L and throw it all out. The saltfish was rubbery, at room temperature, and it tasted off. The bake itself seemed like it would taste okay but it was soggy and soaking in liquid. I literally opened this shortly after getting it so i don't know how the bake could be so soggy. I would not recommend the bake and saltfish at all. The aloo pie is okay but it wasn't giving what it needed to give. However, the corn soup was delicious. Def go for the corn soup.

Unfortunately, they were out when I arrived, which was a bit of a letdown since that was the main reason for my visit. That said, I pivoted and ordered a double instead, and it turned out to be a solid choice. The double was flavorful, especially with the added peppers, and everything tasted fresh and well-seasoned. At just $3, it's hard to argue with the value -- a very fair price for a quick, satisfying bite. Overall, the food itself was good and definitely scratched the Caribbean street-food itch. The ambiance was standard and clean. My only real disappointment was the lack of salt and bake, since it's something I was genuinely looking forward to trying. Still, if you're in the area and craving an affordable, tasty double, this spot delivers. I'll likely give it another shot in hopes of catching the full menu next time.
