I was a little skeptical about getting doubles from a food truck but I was absolutely proved wrong. The food was tasty, the staff were all very friendly, and the turnaround time was quick. Overall the doubles were tasty, the sauces were good and a good size to each. The corn soup was also good, had corn and dumplings in it, and a decent little spice. I think you can also order from them on ubereats. It's parked in a parking lot (near BJs) so it's easy to pull up and park to order/wait for your food. They have a social media page also that you can check out.

We went for a late breakfast on a busy morning. We ordered the aloo pie, doubles, and bake and shark. The best of the three was the aloo pie. The flavors were exactly as they should have been. The bake and shark was also good. We thought the shark could have had more meat to it and it was lukewarm at best compared to the aloo pie and the doubles although our order came all together. The doubles were ok, could have been better. It's a parking lot and we ate in the car so nothing really to say on ambiance. There were cars waiting when we arrived and a line when we were leaving. Decent choice if you're looking for something quick.

Excellent doubles and sauces. Went by and ordered on a stormy day, quick wait and as the line drew longer, I started feeling more confident that the food would be what I hoped it would be. Good sized portions, fresh flavor! So happy to have found them.

Tried this food truck yesterday. They ran out of a few items. I ended up getting a veggie roti because they ran out of chicken and goat, Doubles and a corn soup! The doubles I got only had tamarind sauce, they were cool. The roti was ok, loved the skin, but ordered as is and to me it had too much going on inside. I wasn't a fan. Next time I will tailor the filling to my liking. Now that corn soup was the star of the show!!! Soooooooooo good. Would def come back for the soup. The wait is a little long but expected. Yesterday was windy, ppl were waiting in their cars. The owner called out orders. Would try them again.

Unassuming food truck located next to an office building. Came to this food truck the day it opened. I ordered a goat roti, veggie roti and some doubles. This food did not disappoint! Absolutely delicious. Taste like someone's tanti made it. Delicious flavors, the goat was soft and seasoned nicely. The bara for the doubles was nice and thin. The roti skin was seasoned and flavorful enough it could stand alone. Now if they had buss up shot!...I'd live there. I would 100% be going back to this truck prob once a week bc the flavors taste like home. I'll have to try to go early next time before the bake and shark runs out. They take cash, card and pay by phone. The people working in the truck are very friendly as well.

Ok, driving along on my way to run some errands and what do I see? A food truck for Trini food on the island! Looked up the business and found their instagram page and hours of operation. They also have an online menu to order via UberEats. Cool beans I'll make sure to swing by on my way back. Doing a study of their menu I saw that they had curry goat roti and doubles, but the time I got there to do my order in person they were out of the goat. Ok, no biggie so I ordered the boneless curry chicken, but they didn't have enough to fill a roti and I respected that. I know I wouldn't be satisfied with a half filled roti so I got the bone in chicken. They give you a choice of spice level and if you want mango or pumpkin in your roti. Spicy and pumpkin for me sir. My other half had mango and spicy shrimp roti and we got an order of doubles with everything on it. We didn't have to wait long for our order to be done. I do appreciate how the food was packaged in our to go containers. No chance of food being spilled on the way back home. My roti had some weight to it that I appreciated. It was spicy but not burn your tongue spicy more of the heat is there at a nice level. Curry chicken, curry shrimp and doubles was seasoned very well. I will return to try the curry goat and aloo pie

Why did I wait so long to come here?!…read more I mean, I know why. It's a bit of a trek from where I live. But I'll happily travel for good food, and Trinciti absolutely justified the journey. As an Indian, I don't say this lightly. I know my Indian food. I was already aware of the historical overlap between Indian and Caribbean cuisines, but Trinidadian food fascinated me. The familiar spices and flavors are there, yet they've evolved into something entirely their own. You can taste the migration story, the adaptation, and the creativity in every bite. A quick practical note because Instagram reels had me misinformed. They do take cards. You don't need cash. Also, parking isn't exactly abundant, and there aren't many nearby places to sit with your takeaway. My advice is to grab a table and eat there. The space itself is small and pretty no-frills, so if you're coming for ambiance, this isn't that kind of place. But if you're coming for flavor, you're in exactly the right place. The setup is simple. You line up, order when it's your turn, and move things along. It's a busy spot, so a little menu reconnaissance goes a long way. The staff are efficient and patient, but they're not mind readers. Asking them whether shrimp or chicken is "better" feels like asking someone whether you should prefer chocolate or vanilla. Both are good. It depends on what you like. We ordered the dhalpuri roti, which is a soft flatbread stuffed with seasoned ground lentils. If you're sharing, ask for it not to be wrapped. Otherwise, it comes rolled up like a wrap. We filled ours with both the curried goat and the oxtail because we weren't there to play it safe. Both were excellent, paired with those comforting, home-style potatoes that soak up all the flavor without overwhelming you with spice. I also couldn't leave without trying the doubles, and we kept it plain. Oh. My. God. Flavor bomb. At its heart, it reminded me of chole bhature's distant cousin. The same comforting chickpea soul, but interpreted through Trinidad's lens with pepper sauces and chutneys that make it unmistakably its own. I honestly think the chutneys are what take it over the top. For the bake and shark though Pay first, take your number, and when they call you up, tell them how you'd like it dressed. Personally, I have a "trust the chef and give me everything" philosophy, so I said yes to it all. The result was a glorious mess of crispy fried shark piled high with pineapple, lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, and an array of vibrant chutneys that I am still thinking about. They do not skimp on the fish. Watching them assemble it from the front row is part of the fun. Before you leave, do not skip the cassava cake. The raisin dessert was a bit too sweet for my taste, but that's entirely personal and worth trying if you have a sweeter tooth than I do. They also sell plenty of snacks and hot sauces, so take a look around before heading out. One final thing I appreciated. They have a restroom and a sink stocked with soap. Trust me, you are going to get messy. That's part of the joy of eating here. If you're the kind of person who side-eyes people for eating with their hands, this might not be your scene. If you're willing to embrace the delicious chaos, Trinciti will reward you generously. I left full, happy, and wondering why I had let distance keep me away for so long. Some places are worth the drive. Trinciti is absolutely one of them.

My Trini friend was shocked that I;ve never had doubles and so this day was my lucky day. When you reach, the servers take your order along with as many toppings and additions. They also had bake and shark, bake and saltfish, and other items to choose from such as dhal puri roti, pholourie with tamarind sauce, it was my first time so I didn't go too crazy and wanted to appreciate the essence of the doubles. I would go back again. It is takeout, so don't get too comfy. Make sure you're ready to grab your order and take that first bite after you leave or reach your destination!

Unfortunately, they were out when I arrived, which was a bit of a letdown since that was the main reason for my visit. That said, I pivoted and ordered a double instead, and it turned out to be a solid choice. The double was flavorful, especially with the added peppers, and everything tasted fresh and well-seasoned. At just $3, it's hard to argue with the value -- a very fair price for a quick, satisfying bite. Overall, the food itself was good and definitely scratched the Caribbean street-food itch. The ambiance was standard and clean. My only real disappointment was the lack of salt and bake, since it's something I was genuinely looking forward to trying. Still, if you're in the area and craving an affordable, tasty double, this spot delivers. I'll likely give it another shot in hopes of catching the full menu next time.
