Great experience across the board. Every dish was flavorful & exciting. Funnily enough, I didn't recognize the dessert by it's name on the menu (Coconut-Pandan Pudding), but as soon as I took a bite, the nostalgia hit! Among Filipinos, it's ginataang bilo-bilo,and I haven't had ginataang in so long! The atmosphere is very chill and intimate. The lighting is low with lamps on the tables and there's bossa nova playing in the background. It's very relaxing, and the service was quick and attentive, like a well-oiled machine. You get a surprisingly large amount of food with the tasting menu, so it's worth the cost to me.

Food was good not great. Food genre was nice for a change vs Mexican foods of Santa Fe. Id come again but not in a hurry

Such a wonderful tasting experience -- the sake pairing was spot-on and delicious, and the authentic Asian flavors instantly took me right back home. Highly recommend!

What an amazing experience from the moment we arrived. The entire place now has designer's elegance created by the owner herself. That alone is worth the effort. However once you peruse the tasting menu, you begin to have an inkling that you have reached another universe. The food is uniquely tasty with thought given to each morsel. And then there's the service. Never a bother but always there to help create your every wish. Definitely one that demands return visits. A special hug to the owner/chef who added that magic touch to every guest's experience.

We tried Alkeme for Valentine's dinner. The restaurant is in the plaza area of Santa Fe, which means parking can be difficult. However, if you spend time in this part of Santa Fe, you probably have a parking strategy. The restaurant is very large with lots of seating in multiple rooms. This creates a more intimate environment since you are not dinning in a large open space. The lights are dim and the rooms are well put together. The service was very friendly from the moment we walked in the door. This is a higher price and smaller portion type of restaurant, but the food is delicious. Everything was very cooked perfectly and tasted wonderful. The restaurant is in the plaza area which means you can stroll the area after dinner and maybe find a place for drinks. I would recommend this restaurant for special occasions.

I was in Santa Fe for just a few days and was so glad to get to try Alkeme on the day it wasn't so busy as it usually does! I was able to grab a seat at a bar at a pretty last minute and really appreciate the genuine conversations and great hospitality skills that Krista, a very friendly and knowledgeable bartender/main service person, brought to Alkeme! I liked that Alkeme brought Santa Fe (and New Mexico) a chance for people (tourists and locals) to come try more diverse/different types of food than what people usually eat here. Wonderful staff, service and food! Thank you for opening this little gem Alkeme here!

Lemon sorbet with candied basil leaf and berries!

A superb meal! Every bite was a deliciously complex surprise. A beautiful fusion meal. The outdoor patio at sunset in Santa Fe made for a great ambiance! We started the meal with a delicious miso bisque which was deliciously creamy. Followed by a light rice-based vegetarian crepe (gluten free). Our entrees were equally delicious, light, tasty and a complexity of tastes - risotto of squash and Japanese eggplant, and a superb whole trout lightly fried. Our dessert knocked our socks off - a tangy lemon sorbet with candied basil leaf (!) and berries. It was haute cuisine with no pretension. The service was quick, perceptive and very polite. The staff are professional and explain the highlights of each dish as they serve you. Lily was our server and she was outstanding! I highly recommend Alkeme!!!

This was the spot I found myself in about midway through my trip to Sante Fe, and happen to find this Asian spot pretty close to my hotel. The Yelp reviews checked out, and some of the photos really were enticing so I decided to give it a go on a chilly night. It's a simple but well appointed place, just outside the main downtown area, and really close to the main rail station.. just a block or two over. Walking in your are confronted with delicious smells and savory aromas, always a good sign. I took a seat and was helped promptly. I had seen glowing reviews about their hot and sour sweet potato rice noodle soups, and decided to get one with beef. I also can't help but get some dumpling, and went with the spicy shrimp ones. My soup came out first, and was in a nice large bowl filled up with hot soup. My first sip was so incredible, I could not wait to plow through the bowl, and I did just that. Spicy, sour, hearty, tender beef and noodles, lots of well cooked veggies... it all came together beautifully. This was the perfect dish with it being cold out. Shortly after, my dumplings arrived, and they were the perfect compliment to the soup. I even put a couple in there to soak up that hot and sour flavor, and that was just delightful. On their own, they were plenty good. I have no complaints about either item. This was the perfect change-up meal from all the New Mexican cuisine I had been having. I recommend it for those seeking a curveball!

Japanese whisky and exotic green tea (try the kuki cha!) round out a full beverage program, and deep booths offer private views of the lush valley below. Chef Kiko Rodriguez offers a four-course tasting menu at an exceptional value for $65 - trying this or any of Paloma's suggestions from their fresh sushi menu (only restaurant in New Mexico with fish flown in from Japan daily) will surely please. Gloriously chilled tuna sashimi was thinly sliced cut with heat from fresh wasabi and a savory ginger shoyu. Hand rolls are served in pairs, and the spicy tuna was simple, elegant, and delightful - a perfect showcase of the freshest fish. Before switching to dessert, shaved ginger is also snappy and cleansing. I was absolutely mind blown by the Sakura Pannacotta - delicate and dreamy custard textured like chawanmushi with soft aromatic cherry blossom and the most delectable shortbread accent. Three light courses that were fully nourishing, absolutely satisfying, and delightfully delicious!

The goodness began with Naomi, who helped me fix an error in my reservation and get a table at a good time tonight. The goodness continued with our server Mitzi, who should be teaching graduate classes in hospitality in every big city. She was friendly without being overbearing, informative without being pedantic, subtle and gracious. Now, the food! My wife chose the vegetarian tasting menu and I had some of each dish: so very flavorful (a green salad with pears, a life-changing mushroom bisque [and I don't like mushrooms!], a chickpea croquette with pickled artichoke hearts and ratatouille, and a substitution of the lemon crepe for three yummy scoops of sorbet and gelato. I chose the scallops, perfectly cooked and moist, over couscous, and a dish of tasty sauteed baby spinach. A wonderful experience, and not overpriced, and everyone treated us sweetly. The interior is classy and very comfortable. We were seated at a nice comfy corner booth. The soft music in the background was soothing and just noticeable enough without being a distraction. We were served complimentary flutes of local sparking wine and a fresh baked bread basket and butter to start. We then ordered cocktails and three starters. First was a split plate of the endive smoked duck salad with a warm bacon vinegarette. Wow...this was nice and refreshing. This was followed by the crab dumplings with fresh corn and peas and lobster sauce. Delicious! The final small plate was seared foie gras on top of banana bread toast. This was very good. I miss foie gras. Unfortunately, it's banned in California. They had a 2023 Sea Smoke "Ten"Pi ot Noir on the wine list. This is one of the best Pinot Noirs produced in California and not easy to find. This was a no doubter and we ordered a bottle to pair with our entrees. My wife ordered their signature elk tenderloin for redemption because the restaurant the night before failed at executing this. I ordered the tomahawk pork chop. This was cooked to perfection with a nice thin crust on the outside and a perfect very light pink juicy center. We ordered a side of brocolini that was pan roasted with shallots and butter. Everything was very good and Michelin grade in our opinion. Lastly we ended the evening and split the tiramasu type of desert. My wife had the expresso martini and I had an 18 year old Glen Morangie scotch neat. The service was excellent and worth the splurge. This is a must when visiting Santa Fe.
