She can mix you up a Caribbean cocktail that will blow your mind ! Dianna is an absolute JEWEL.... rare and magnificent. OK, so what to eat ?? well everything! the catfish is awesome.. I enjoyed the crab (it's a bit adventurous) , Satay is great with a great peanut sauce And personally, I cannot wait to bring my whole family so we can devour the fish that takes up the entire plate ! My wife and I came here for dinner and were beyond impressed. The restaurant itself is beautiful and had a really nice vibe. Our reservation was for 5:45, so even though they just opened the place was full and people already had food and drinks at their tables. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. When we told him it was our first time dining there, he talked us through the menu and gave us a great overview of what we should expect. We ordered cocktails and the tasting menu. The drink was very refreshing and the tasting menu was the way to go. We got three appetizers and two entrees as well as a dessert. Everything was very flavorful and delicious. The highlights were the papaya salad, fried chicken and the panna cotta (but everything was excellent). We'll definitely be back to try the other items on the menu. read more

Leo's made me cry. LOL, a couple dishes were SO spicy! Be warned, the papaya salad (tasty and eye wateringly spicy). I think the Laab (laarb) was pretty high in capsaicins, too. The dorade (whole fish) was effing delicious, highly recommend. The lamb shank was cooked perfectly. Drinks were great. Desserts were unique and good. Fun vibe inside, great music, lovely build out, lighting on point. We enjoyed the waiting room where you can get drinks in a comfortable setting, listening to music while you wait for your table. Beautiful restaurant and elevated atmosphere, but unfortunately the service and handling of our bill completely ruined the experience. Never again! Was also extremely overpriced!!! The space itself is gorgeous and the menu feels modern and upscale, although the portions are quite small for the price point. We spent $174 before tip for two people. The bigger issue was how the staff handled a dish recommendation and the billing afterward regarding a $24 dish. I specifically asked our server about the mushroom larb because the menu marked it with the highest spice level (3 chili symbols). I told him very clearly that I did NOT want something very spicy. He reassured me multiple times that it "wasn't that spicy," said he had eaten it earlier himself, and told me the acidity balanced the heat. When the dish arrived, it was extremely spicy. I could barely eat it. We had also ordered a pork larb, but once we realized how intensely spicy the mushroom larb was, we immediately told the staff we no longer wanted the pork larb. The dish was never served to us nor placed on the table. At first, the staff acknowledged the cancellation and took it away. Then another server attempted to bring the same dish back out again, and once again we clarified that we did not want it. What was especially frustrating was that nobody came over to discuss the situation with us at that point or explain any policy about charging for the dish. Instead, it simply appeared on the final bill after we had already canceled it. When we asked about it, the manager came over and told us they were charging us because "they couldn't sell the dish." Instead of handling the situation with hospitality or acknowledging the miscommunication, he focused on defending the server. They were charging us for a dish that was never served. At that point, we didn't want to leave having paid for a dish we never received, so we waited while the kitchen remade it for us. That added even more time to the evening, and when the replacement finally arrived, it still did not include the full components of the original dish, including the crudité it was supposed to come with. That was frustrating because: 1. The dish was never originally served to us. 2. Nobody communicated beforehand that we would still be charged. 3. The original issue came from the server incorrectly reassuring us about the spice level after we explicitly expressed concern. 4. After charging us anyway, the replacement dish was incomplete. For a restaurant charging premium prices, I expected much better hospitality, communication, and customer service. read more

The food and drink I got is very low quality and expensive $26. I got the pork belly and it was just a few slices of pork with cilantro and basil. I wasn't impressed at all. It doesn't even serve you any side dishes or rice. The wait to get into the restaurant was well over an hour. The drink was not worth $16 for the weak palmetto drink. The ambiance was ok. The music was really loud and very crowded. I seated way later than a bunch of people in front of me because there weren't any single seats open. This place is a restaurant who don't know what Asian dishes supposed to taste like, it's for boujee people. If you want know to know what Asian dishes are supposed to taste like go travel to Thailand or Malaysia. read more

Leo's might be one of my top places in santa fe right now. I really like it. Some of the dishes are very spicy. They will tell you upfront though so that's nice. I liked the dishes. Spicy and flavorful. Im allergic to tree nuts and our server was very communicative with cross contam. Most resturaunts don't do that so I really felt comfortable eating here. The dishes itself were full of flavor and good portions. The plates are shareable too. I also ordered a cocktail and it was equally as good. Prices are kind of expensive but it is totally worth it in my opinion. This is a good example of the price matching the quality of food. Service was very very good despite it being extremely crowded. I enjoyed the smallness of the place. Very intimate. The tables are communal tables. I dont mind that at all. The ambiance is very good. Music was quite loud but that's alright because it was good music lol. Overall, I'll be back. I enjoyed myself. read more

Can't recommend Leo's enough! We were visiting Santa Fe and decided to stop by on our last night after hearing rave reviews. All of the food and drinks were bursting with flavor - from the catfish sum tum with a perfect balance of spicy, sweet, and tart - to the dorade which melted in our mouths. The staff were incredibly attentive even despite the long wait and the music was bumping! Can't wait to come again when we're back in the area. read more

my sister and 2 friends and i got food poisening the night after eating here, we all ate the same thing- the fried chicken and the delicata squash. My sister emailed to let them know and they wrote back basically inferring that its impossible that this happened bc they diditn hear from anyone else. If all of us got sick it for sure wasnt a coincidence. read more

I don't hand out 5 star reviews lightly, but we ate at Leo's last night and I found everything about it, great. Starting with the atmosphere. It is so nice to have a place bring some urbanity to this town. I love Santa Fe, but it is a little stuck in its world of turquoise and enchiladas. Walking into Leo's, you feel as though you are in a real city. The food was delicious. The staff, really friendly. And the service, great. It was our first time there, but we will return very soon and many times. read more

Yes it is a small place but seriously no need to put loud music in the background this is Santa Fe not New York. everybody at the communal table meaning most of the restaurants was in agreement TO LOUD!!! Great food, great service, great experience. Very reminiscent of Pok Pok in Portland (sadly now closed), this is an amazing addition to the Santa Fe food scene. Whoa. Remember when Meow Wolf first opened, and it was like the entire city of Santa Fe upleveled in terms of art, culture, and energy? Leo's is exactly the same situation, but for food. I just had my first meal at Leo's this evening, we ate our way through the menu and I was absolutely blown away. It should be pretty obvious to any serious foodie that this is now far and away the best restaurant in Santa Fe, and I'm hoping it will set a new standard so some of the many mediocre overrated tired places will be replaced with higher caliber stuff! This is some of the best Thai/Malay food I have ever had in my life, and I've traveled throughout Southeast Asia a lot, and sought out the best southeast Asian restaurants in LA, New York, San Francisco, London, Seattle, Portland, etc. Everything was sublime, but the noodles and the pork belly were especially transcendent. The energy of this place was delightful, great decor and vibes. I will be eating here constantly, despite the long waits. I'm so ecstatic that Santa Fe has a place of this caliber, finally. read more

Fabulous food. We had the Rice Noodles (You have to get there early. They run out.), Fried Chicken and Beef satay. All great. The seasonings were outstanding. The dishes are served like tapas at a Spanish restaurant. Some are small, and some are larger. You never know when a particular one is coming out. For dessert we had both the panna cotta and the pandan kek. Both very good, but for my money the kek was far better. The service was friendly and efficient. Earlier reviews talk about loud music. They must be listening because it wasn't loud tonight. The atmosphere is definitely loud, but not crazy, annoying loud. Just lots of people having a good time loud. The wine is expensive and the pours are light. All tables are communal seating. Some regular, large tables and some high-tops. Well worth the wait and the price. read more

Waiting to be seated was like waiting to board an airplane, except slower. The staggered seating didn't make sense since we arrived before opening to an empty restaurant. We were told not to touch their neon sign or wait in the waiting area... the fried chicken is delicious and drinks are OK but the overall management was very poor. We were asked by our waiter how everything was, and responded with a comment about the lamb being a little dry. The manager/ owner? came back to explain how the meat was cooked in a condescending way and the whole thing was very odd! the ambience is loud and crowded and overhyped. read more
